From a dark corner of the private room where John and Ava were currently engaged in some good old fashion sexual deviance, a pair of cobalt blue eyes appeared in the corner as The White King watched the encounter from his study. He had used his powers to shield him from being detected and Heidi was busy getting ready for the event. He was biding his time, getting a feel for the mansion before letting the others know he had come back. Part of him was bitter, his absence had seemed to bond them all together. It made him feel for a moment as if he were actually the problem with Hellfire, but he knew better. A common enemy was a valuable tool, and he was that in this moment.
"Well, now seems a good a time as any...Here goes nothing."
With a wave of his hand, Cameron dropped the shields he had in place, allowing him to be tracked in the mansion, and watched from his phone as several security alerts lit up. It would only be a matter of time before Haleigh and the others were aware, but Cameron didn't want to cause a giant scene at Ashley's event, despite the fact that he felt a bit thrown under the bus by her in terms of their agreement about Alek. He had never mentioned her name to anybody, never linked her to anything he had said to the others and as his mind allowed him to gleam the goings on in the mansion from the memories of those in the Great Hall, for a moment he found himself a bit afraid.
Reaching out with his mind, Cameron entered both Ava's and Ashley's brains, speaking to them as he leaned back in his chair.
[to Ashley and Ava via thought call] "I'm told you two are supposed to get to me before the others? I'm in my study."
It would be a race to see who got their first - Ava and Ashley...or his wife. Or the firing squad.
