OOC Thread 8

With Farrah MIA for a little bit, does anyone want to make a new thread and just RP for shits and giggles? Nothing relating to what's happening in our current storyline. But just some fun, drama filled, charater interaction? No real storyline, just kinda do our own thing until Farrah comes back?

It's just a thought considering i'm not sure how long the game will be paused for. I know I start to miss RPing when we take extended breaks so I thought i'd throw this idea out there. :)

Just throwing this out there - we could do something completely different for a storyline. New characters, new everything? But like I said I'm cool with a parody :) Though Farrah might feel left out when she comes back...
 
I'm sure Farrah won't mind, Vil. And once she comes back she could always jump in and have some fun too before we get back to the real six storyline. It's just to pass the time. :)


And I like the idea of new characters, that would be really fun! It would give everyone a chance to go outside the six box. Maybe we could even go as far as to not have the characters have powers and just do a new aged Melrose Place drama, like the television show....except less sucky. :p

So we could have everyone pick an actor image, a name, and an occupation and post it here in the OOC thread. No extensive bio like we did for the six characters, since it's a short term parody. And we'll start up as soon as everyone posts. :)

That is, of course, if everyone likes this idea. :D
 
Im cool with that haha. We could just be Melrose Place people for awhile. That would be entertaining to do, and I like it better than a Six parody because Farrah would have to be a part of that imo.

Well with Garrick out that leaves 4 people to RP. Does everyone still want to do this? Or should we just scrap it and wait until Farrah comes back?

That's my least favorite half, lol!

But do NOT let me stop you. I am even excited to see what you guys do.

I just like the fighting, enemies and comedy a lot more. Typical guy thing. If I must endure massive drama, I would prefer to do it for the main story. Otherwise I will be burned out on it by the time Jill gets back.
 
We could do something simple with powers. Or we could play already established characters (like from comics or whatever). Or we could switch genres and do something horror or scifi...or we can just wait for Farrah lol. Doesn't seem to make sense to me, though, to leave one or two people out.
 
When I suggested this I was hoping everyone would participate. So I agree, Vil. If everyone doesn't wants to do it then I say we just wait until Farrah comes back.

I'm down with RPing with our normal six characters in a parody. And I know Brandon brought up the fact that it would be strange to do a parody without Farrah, but we could always have the plot revolve around rescuing Morgan and Alison. Or they could be on vacation while the rest of the six has to deal with a crisis.

Again, we don't HAVE to do this. But with Farrah gone for an unknown amount of time, I thought it would be a good way to pass the time.
 
Brandon, didn't you have an idea once that you wanted to do a RP with our six character's children? Like, the next generation six, as teenagers? Maybe something like that? It will involve powers so Garrick will like it. And involve completely new characeters so Vil would like it? lol. Or younger mutants who find out they have powers and have to come together in order to evade the goverment who's trying to capture all mutants?

How the hell does Farrah do this mastrixing thing? I'm running out of ideas LOL :p
 
We could do a "teen titans" kind of thing (if you wanted to tie it in to the Six, you could make them Delilah's foundation kids).

There could be some "evil" (lol) adult character trying to create a team of super-villains, so maybe our team would be divided and half would be trying to win the others to the good side and build a new team. I explained that really poorly lol.

The other idea I have is (which I know I've said a thousand times lol but) What if the Six died on their very first mission? Which would allow each of us to play a new character that's filling the gap left by the Six.
 
I like all the ideas, I am fine with anything. My idea always was /the Six's children.

Here is what I came up with lol..

Ava/Hades
Delilah/Bishop
Haleigh/Cameron
Nicolas/Morgan

And I just figured Cam/Haleigh would have twins so we could all play one lol.

But I like the Delilah's Kids thing to. I think it would be fun to play brooding teenagers. The Six is dead and now there are just these kids who "kind of" know what's going on, but are left on their own, I think that idea ties in like all three.
 
I really like the Six being dead part and these new 'teenagers' have to take over where the six left off. This would bring in drama AND battle so it pleases all sides. :D Good idea Vil!
 
I think we would have to have like a character from Mystech that tries to sway the kids to... "the dark side" a mainstream character that's still alive like Malice or Helena?

And if these were Delilah's kids.. where are they living haha? All together in a group home.. or does Delilah just offer a mentor service?
 
Well I have established it so far that she just counsels them. It's not like the X-Men lol.

Aren't those both Farrah's characters? Maybe it could be someone like a wealthy, powerful businessman - a Lex Luthor type?
