That's what I figured.. well maybe we could set it up that with the six gone.. Helena Quartermaine gathers the kids she feels could be the best asset to MysTech or WilPharma or whatever lol, and lures them under the guise that they would be saving the world.. and low and behold.. they aren't haha.

Then we could just play a matter of trying to get out of this organization with their lives?
 
I like working with Dee's kids or having the offspring of the Six...except I have to decide if I am going to keep it Victoria. I love the character, just don't know if I can play her.

So doing that would be FUN, just don't be surprised if it's Nicolas Morgan King, Morgan and Nicolas' SON, LOL!
 
Well, I definitely think that if we're going to do this, you should be able to create your own character and not be bound by what has already been established by someone else G :)
 
Okay so let's get this all together.

I think the idea of new characters works. Teenagers with abilities who were apart of Delilah's Organization.

Here is what I think... everyone feel free to let me know what you think haha..

We have a group of mutant teenagers who each had a close relationship with Delilah in each way. We can say The Six were killed in some mysterious event, and I think a good way to start the story would be the kids attending a special memorial for Delilah at The Lighthouse Foundation (that's the name right?) and we can have the kids mourn and try and figure out who was responsible for her death, and then we can segway to the kids banding together to carry on her mission, the mission of the six.

Then we can have MysTech realize who these kids are, that they have great potential and they are getting too close to uncovering that MysTech is responsible for the deaths of the Six, and can have them put on a hitlist. So the story can revolve around the kids fighting for their lives and each other..

We can have the kids have parents or not, come up with your own background, homeless whatever lol... but I think that's a strong starting point and it incorporates alot of the ideas we were bouncing back and forthe...

sounds good to me. you know i'm down with whatever you guys decide on. :)

I do like the tie in with Delilah's foundation. :) I love tie-ins. :D

ETA:

But just so I can feel I contributed towards the end decision, I suggest we set it up with its own RP thread, and not just RP it here in the OOC thread, lol, because that would just clog this thread up and if we DID do it here, we'd have no ooc thread to go to with ooc discussion. :p

Brandon that's a really awesome idea. I think it's perfect!! The funeral is a great way for all the kids to actually meet [and start off the storyline].

And agreed Lexi. I'll make up a seperate thread. I'll call it "Alternate Universe: Judgement Day storyline" or something.

So everyone, come up with a small character bio. Nothing extensive like the six. Just name, age, ability, and a little background info so we know the basics of the character. Plus supply an actor image as well. Once everyone posts all of that information, i'll start the new thread. :D

Bio: Born and raised in San Diego, California. First learned of her abilities at age 15. Her parents were extremely religious and believed by being a mutant she was an 'abomination' and was going to hell. Livvie ran away from home shortly after and wound up living in Los Angeles. She continues to live in LA and currently makes ends meet by hustling and stealing from the wealthy Beverly Hills elite.

It's the Archangel Foundation ;)

My only suggestion would be to maybe have them try and bring over the kids to their side before trying to kill them, but if that's too much it's fine :)

PS Do we want to go so far as to create new accounts for these characters? If so, if people register them and then post here what they are I'll link them.

Ability: telepath [HA! beat the boys! :D] She can both hear the thoughts of others and subliminally plant thoughts, but cannot 'speak' telepathically to others.
Bio: Only daughter and heir to LA billionaire elite Castle Family, the top name in High End real estate and Custom home building in the LA area. Brenda is an ambitious, type a personality. To insiders she is a prodigy, but to most outsiders she's a 'typical' trust fund baby. She hides her abilities from her family for many reasons, and has few friends because she comes across as very haughty and aloof to the majority of her classmates.

ETA: Separate accounts sounds fine to me.

Age: 16

Ability: Elizabeth’s brain works like a supercomputer, allowing her to process and recall information at an extremely high rate. Her brain has unlimited storage space, a perfect photographic memory, and can perform many tasks at once without losing focus on each individual one. She can also interact with any computer, and is able to read genetic code, allowing her to spot mutants and identify their powers (both manifested and unmanifested) – often knowing more about others’ powers than they do. Her increased useage of the brain’s potential has also allowed her some success with telekinesis; however, she sometimes has difficulty in controlling this power when flustered or upset.

Bio: Elizabeth is a junior in high school, attending a private school in the city. Her family is upper middle class, but not uber wealthy like many of her classmates. She leads a normal teenage life – full of parties, clubs, and drugs. She idolizes her older brother Tom, but with him at college is left home alone to deal with their parents divorce. To protect herself, she pretends to not care about anything or anyone.

I'm willing to change this if anyone was planning on using these kind of powers or if there's something else that y'all think would be more useful.

Age: 17

Ability: Jackson has virtually inpenetrable skin, rendering him invulernable to objects and weapons of a physical nature as well as most energy projectiles. It appears as if most things merely bounce off of him or break. He has never broken a bone, he has never had a sunburn, he has never seen his own blood. Jackson also possesses extraordinary strength, though the full potential of that strengthh has yet to be tested, except to say that Jackson has never found something he couldn't pummel into dust.

Bio: Jackson is a rather introverted person, which is an extreme contradiction to his looks and body type. He enjoys poetry and he is a rather observant person, though he knows when to turn on the charm. Jackson grew up in Newport Beach before coming to LA with hotshot parents who quite literally never know where he is...ever, and as with most kids with privelege and freedom at a young age, he has quite a rebellious streak and a tendency to find himself in hot water.

I'm down for seperate accounts. It would make it less confusing I think. I can take the pictures you guys posted and make them into avatars [no banners though...I don't think i'll have the time lol].

Now we're just waiting on Garrick.

EDIT: I was thinking, maybe we should call them 'The Archangels'. Sort of a homeage to Delilah since she died?

i made everyone an account, linked it to their main account, and put up avatars. I didn't do anything else like user title or information or anything. You guys can do that if you want to. :)

Like I said, i'm just waiting on Garrick so I can make his account, and then i'll make the thread.
 
Name: Richard Martin

Age: 16

Ability: Richard has the ability to transform himself into any form he desires, whether a substance or an animal. He has complete control over his molecules, giving him the abilities and/or properties of the substances/forms/ selected.

Bio: Richard was born in a small town in South Carolina that was anchored by a chemical plant loosely affiliated with Mystech. He was a popular kid who was well-known and liked by his peers, managing to be a great student and good athlete. After the football game, he went with his friends to th local lake to swim when he was unfortunate enough to find the pipe that was being used to pump chemical waste into the water.

His friends still remember his screams. He was never found and, although Mystech hushed up the incident, the resultant uproar in the town kept the lake clean, saving the other residents due to his "death".

In reality Rick awoke days later, horrified to find that his body was changed, becoming the same as whatever he touched. He fled his hometown, deciding not to return in such a horrible condition. Over time, he got some control over his abilities and now tries to understand what happened to hm, hoping that one day he will feel fit to return to his family.

I know it's been used by Marvel and such but I kind of like the name.. "The Runaways" I think it's fitting for this group of kids.
 
The Runaways is cool too! I like it. :D

Garrick, your account is all set up. Except I used a different picture of Evan Ross because when I put that one as an avatar it made his head look abnormally large LOL. If you don't like the pic I chose I can use the one you posted above. :)
