:: The Siren looks around her, seeing tiny yellow eyes of the sea critters around her. Not your ordinary sea critters, for sure. She shook it off, and continued swimming until she realized the water was deeper. She hoped Rama knew what he was doing, because she definetely wanted to get out of the water as soon as possible. She sent Kurama a quick telepathic message, hoping he would recieve it ::

Rama! How much further?

:: She continued ::

Entering the mouth of the valley, they are shocked at the sight before them. Before them is a giant crater that houses a vast domed city. They can see within the dome and it appears that the majority of the buildings are in ruins. The light appears to be coming from one of the central buildings in the city. The path they are following winds down to the city and to a sealed tunnel that leads into the city.

:: Maia's eyes widen with amazement when she sees the ruined city and she squints her eyes as she looks at the building where the light seems to be coming from. She questioned herself, and looked up at the group. It was deep water... ::

Shall we explore?

Is this like Atlantis or something? I mean it's runes...

:: She continues swimming to the light. Wondering where it was coming from, how was there a light source in the ocean? It was highly suspicious... not something she'd ever seen or heard. ::

:: Rama was about to answer Maia but then is met with the sight of the ancient city. He is wide-eyed. He looks it over and nods to Maia and Euthalia signaling to go heads to the building down the path to the one with the light radiating coming from it. Rama pushes on knowing the others are close behind ::

Guys I can tell that chamber a few feet in front of us is an airlock. There is no water in the city but there is air I believe. So a few more strokes and we will be able to rest and not swim for a bit

:: Rama thrusts off heading straight for the sealed chamber ::

Reaching the airlock's entrance, the party searches for a few minutes trying to figure out the workings. Maia finally finds the lever that opens the outer door, and with some effort manages to force it into the open position. As their path continues on into the airlock and beyond, the group enters, cautiously examining their surroundings. Almost all are a little jumpy when Maia closes the door behind them. With the door sealed, hidden pumps begin draining the water in the chamber. There is a moment of discomfort as they go from breathing water to breathing air once more, but it is quickly overcome with no one the worse for it. Once the water has been fully drained away, they find the inner door leading into the city opens easily and smoothly.

The city spreads out before them, large and eerily silent. There appearto be no signs of life anywhere, nor signs that anyone had ever lived here other than the abandoned buildings. Ahead in the distance is the palatial building that provides light to the ruins and that had drawn them here.
