*She watches as the group gets thrown outside by some of Picknose's magick. She gets pissed off and watches as Rama and Maia go back into the shop. Out of the corner of her eye she notices a large statue, which she goes to investigate. Oberon the King it reads as she grins, an idea popping into her head. She nods to the rest of the group and walks off into a small alley near the shoppe within perfect view of the statue and glamours into Oberon, physique and all. Walking out of the alley, she turns and looks around, trying to capture his royal mightiness. She smiles and walks into the shoppe looking around at what Rama had done to the guards and then focuses her attention on Picknose. In a loud booming voice, she talks to him, disguised within her Oberon glamour.*

"Picknose! I believe I heard you had something to tell me...that was quite intriguing to hear. I hope you aren't keeping secrets from me, for you already know the consequences I will dish out."

*She looked at the goblin sternly, cracking her fingers as she balled them into fists, crossing them over her chest as she waited for his response.*

"I suggest you give these people what they want, or I will not be the only one to slowly torture you."

:: When they get transported out of the shoppe all Tobias can say is-::

"Ooops..."

:: He sees the dirty look Rama gives him, but before he can give a similar dirty look back Rama grabs Maia and drags her into the shoppe. ::

Who the hell does he think he is!?! He's been acting the leader ever since we started this quest, he has no right to grab Maia like that...

:: Sees Amarisy busily entering an Alley and then sees a large man who looked like Royalty exiting it. He clicks on and gives Amarisy/Oberon a nod of luck as she enters the shoppe again. Tobias then turns to a Peacekeeper in the doorway. ::

"Look..."

:: Nods towards the King ::

"Oberon the King is shouting at Picknose, not us. Does it look like we would steal anything?"

:: Steps into the shoppe ::

"Looks like Picknose has been keeping secrets from our Beloved King...I don't think your presence is needed here anymore, I'm afraid."

:: Tobias then walks up to Rama ::

"Rama let Picknose go... The King is here, show him some respect."

:: Bows in front of the King and then puts his hand on Rama's shoulder ::

"My Lord, forgive my friend here, he has a bit of a temper, he didn't mean to lay a hand on your servant Picknose here. It's just Picknose was deliberately not cooperating with us, we were trying to tell him that your highness ordered us to come here and ask him some questions but he got testy and transported us out of his shoppe and accused us of stealing. Hence the Peacekeepers being here."

:: Tobias hopes that Amarisy will follow his lead and make Picknose tell us everything he knows. ::

As Rama attacks the Peacekeepers, the thin man begins to scowl. He raises a hand which glows with power. Heavy chains appear glowing with a sinister energy, binding Rama's wrists and ankles.

"Don't bother trying your powers now, those chains are made of Oraculum and stifle your abilities."

Turning towards "Oberon", he peers very closely at "him" and mutters a word under his breath. Amy's glamouring falls away from her like rain, leaving her revealed. Another gesture and she too wears a set of chains. The remaining Peacekeepers including Bash gather the rest of the group and bring them inside the shoppe. The wounded Peacekeeper slowly gets to his feet rubbing his head. He glares at Rama, thankful he is an Orc and has a head like a rock, literally.

Picknose approaches the thin man, his voice whiney and pathetic.

"Lord Gilderlilly, these foul creatures have stolen from me and threatened my life. I demand that they be punished! They broke the Kings command! Look in their packs, you will find items form my shoppe and I will take Oath that they never paid me for any of them. I sent them from my shoppe hoping to notify you later, as I was afraid of them, but then these two bullies(pointing at Rama and Maia) returned to try to get more from me, they weren't satisfied with what they had, they wanted more."

Gilderlilly orders two of the Peacekeepers to search the packs and nods as they pull chains, jewels and other items out of each pack. He purses his lips in thought before speaking.

"Keepers, take them to the Palace and put them in the Dungeons. They are apparently thieves in addition to attacking a Peacekeeper within the Market confines(glaring at Rama) and most seriously impersonating the King.(looking at Amy like she is some sort of trash.)"
He focuses his attention on her solely for a moment. "Foolish child, impersonating the King might work elsewhere but he never steps foot into the Market, never has and never will. You should also know that the offense of impersonation carries a penalty of death."

As they all try to protest their treatment and voice their innocence, another wave of his hand renders them all mute and binds them all with chains. They are dragged bodily out of the shoppe and towards the Castle where they are locked in Oraculum lined cells to await trial.

:: Rama found himself bound as they were injustly taken away, he was now very pissed at Tobias since he never knew when to keep his mouth shut. He looked to the others in the prison, they needed a way to get out but with abilities blocked there did not seem to be much hope. However, his own rose whip would be able to help. As it was connected to him through his spirit energy he could control it without hands as well as it was the reason the weapon became a rose in anyone else's hands. He centered on himself and the rose whip became a rose and fell from the bindings and at his feet. Concentrating further it became a whip again and then raised into the air and struck at the chains with its diamond sharp thorns. While he awaited to see if it was effective on them he opened a channel of telepathy with everyone and asked ::

Okay guys any ideas? They seem to be able to block our powers. But we may have a chance, I think also we may need reenforcements. Do you think it is a good idea for us to contact Hannah and Bash and me and Sati work their attraction for us to coming and busting us out? We do not have time so give me your opinions quick

:: Euthalia shook her head no. Thinking silently, she wondered if her claws counted as a power.::

This might be the time to find out. . .

:: Euthalia retracted her claws and clawed at the chain continually hoping to break the chain that was bounding her. ::

"Peacekeeper, would you believe us if we had said we were framed?"

:: She asked in a quiet voice. ::

Look, there he goes again thinking he is all that. If he didn't go in the shoppe with his fists and weapons ablazing we wouldn't be in this mess...

:: He chains jingle as he moves around the cell trying to control his anger. He laughs slightly as he hears Euth talking to a peacekeeper. ::

"Even if he did think that we were innocent I doubt that he will have the guts to go against orders, and help us escape."

The chains binding everyone resist the attempts at removal then suddenly vanish as one of the Elven Peacekeepers approaches with dinner. Far from the gruel that one would expect in a dungeon, the meal consists of breads and cheeses, sliced meats and gravy with fruit turnovers for dessert. A pitcher of water is also provided. The elf watches amused at the surprise on everyones face.

"Expecting slop, were you? You may be prisoners and most likely condemned to death, but you will be well fed in the meantime."

The elf leaves them to eat or not as they choose.

"Should we eat it? i mean it's a possible poison to give us pain before death."

:: She turns back to Tobias. ::

"Ok, no offence, but part of the reason we're here is because some people decided to ask about the Eye of Fire and reveal one of us had telepathy."

:: She turned to the peacekeeper. ::

"So apparently you people don't believe in trials?"

:: She yelled making sure the elf heard her loud and clearly. ::

:: Rama sighs a sigh of relief as the bonds are removed. As they see the food before them Rama is very sketchy about eatting it and then he realized something ::

Guys the bonds are gone meaning we have our full abilities back. We might be able to make a full escape or just wait it out and see what happens, what do ya'll think?

:: Maia raises an eyebrow as she looks at the peacekeepers, trying to figure out what she's doing there. Seeing the chains that binded Rama, she looked up at the
King with enraged eyes, that changed to the color of pure crimson red. She gritted her teeth silently, as she tried to think up a plan. Obviously, powers didn't work. Once recieving the telepathic message from Rama, she looked over at the ground and bit her lower lip ::

:: Relieved as the bindings disappear, she nevertheless turned a slightly frustrated gaze on the members of the group who had revealed their abilities. Still, what had happened had happened, and they needed to concentrate on the future ::

All: Rama, guys, I don't know about having our full abilities back. Check out the walls of the cells - looks like the same stuff to me. If we break out, we gotta be smart about it. I don't like the idea of leaving ourselves to their mercy, but at the same time, we don't want to put ourselves in a bad position, so whatever we do, we do it WELL. Anyone have any theories? Hannah and Bash are a fallback but I honestly don't think they're going to just let us go....

*She watches as her glamour begins to fade away, chains binding her legs and hands. She glares back at Gilderlilly as if he were some stupid jester. Even though she was mute, it wouldn't stop her mindspeak as she thought to herself louding, pounding in Gilderlilly's head.*

"Maybe if he did show sometimes, his almost loyal servants wouldn't be serving other masters like Picknose here."

*The chains disappeared as they saw the food placed in front of them. It looked very good, but she was still stuffed from the stew, and it could have well been poisoned. Listening to all the conversations with mindspeak since they probably were still mute, she joined in.*

"Hannah could possibly help but Bash was one of the guards, i doubt he'd betray his king for us. We could try appealing to the king, get on his good side. After all, we do know Belasco wants the throne, we could use that information to our benefit. And if worse comes to worse, i've got gust power that's connected to my soul as well, cells or not, i can still use it."

I am going to try to contact Hannah and see if she knows anything that could help us

:: Rama takes a deep breath and then uses his telepathy to find Hannah and open a connection with her ::

Hannah? Can you hear me? It's me Kurama, the one with the red hair. We are in a bit of a jam, we were set up into being taken captive, I was wondering if you knew any way to get out of this or to save our lives

:: He waited to see if the connection worked ::

:: Tobias lightens up as soon as he sees he bonds disappear and the food. He then turns to Euth. ::

"For your information I never revealed that one of us had telepathy, that was Maia's doing and considering the cat was let out of the bag, what was the point in hiding it? I dunno why you took what I said offensively anyway I was just stating a fact."

:: Sits down and starts to eat and then notices the others looking at him ::

"It is unlikely that they would poisen us, considering they already have us as prisoners anyway. And they seem like decent enough people to me."

Rama's telepathic message fails to go any further than the walls of their cell, being blocked by the Oraculum that lines its walls. Various experiments reveal that none of their powers have any affect on the walls whatsoever. The bars covering the single window are made of the same metal and nullify the powres of any who approach or touch them. Whatever the future holds, they will be forced to face it, there is no way to escape.

The daylight fades and another meal is brought. Shortly thereafter, Gilderlilly appears at the cell doors, looking disdainfully at everyone.

"Your trial will be held in the morning with the King himself presiding over it. You will be bound in chains again, like the common criminals that you are, so don't even think that you are going to be able to escape. I am rather surprised that your attorney isn't present but given the charges, I don't blame them. Ah well, we shall meet again in the morning when I serve as prosecutor. Ta Ta!"

Gilderlilly vanishes from the doorway leaving them completely alone to await the morning and the Trial.

"Common criminals? We may be evil, but I've never been a criminal. . . maybe a killer but never a real criminical."

:: She said to the rest of the group annoyed somewhat at Gilderlily, she took a bit of the meal and was surprised that it wasn't some sort of poison. Atleast it didn't taste like a poison she'd ever heard of. ::

"I thought peacekeepers actually keeped peace."

:: Sati let out a derisive laugh at Euthalia's comment, and leaned back against the wall of the cell ::

"I guess you've had quite the sheltered childhood, then. Little tip - run a mile from anyone who has the balls to call themselves a peackeeper."

Prosecutor...

:: Willing her body to relax, she took a little of the meal that had been brought to them ::

"Anyone have any ideas for our "trial"?"

"Well we'll need an attorney of some sort since none of the group will be allowed , it has to be someone outside of us. You know?"

:: Euthalia told/suggested to the rest of the group. ::

"But how are we going to find one by tommorow?"

:: She sighed and squatted down on the floor, as not to get herself dirty. ::

"We will need a good one. I wonder........... do you think we could somehow get Ikaris or maybe someone from back in the coven to defend us? I mean I think we need someone who is like a combination of Riana, Darkchilde, Titania, Enchantrah, and Ikaris since they are the big and bads of MoE who strike fear into anyone with a simple look hehe. But really how will we get anyone?"

:: Rama sighed, he was sketchy of the food and still would not eat. He raised into the air and hovered about the room ::

The rest of the evening passes slowly for everyone, clearly disturbed at the prospect of the coming trial. Tempers begin to fray and sniping comments fly back and forth across the cell.

Eventually everyone manages to settle down enough to grab some sleep. Exhaustion does indeed take its toll. Early the next morning, they are awakened by the sound of their last ( ? ) meal being delivered.

After finishing their meal, several peacekeepers gather outside the cell. One of the Elven keepers points a wand at them and they are again bound in the Oraculum chains. Once done, the Peacekeepers enter the cell and escort the group to the court-room.

The court room is opulently furnished and were it not for the spectator area, where they see several people that they met during the quest including a human sized scorpion, the Guardian of the Hall of Eons, Gossamer and Hannah, could eaily pass as a lounge or salon. At the far end of the room stands Gilderlilly, waiting patiently in his dark robes and powdered white wig. A huge group of cushions lies beyond the warden/prosecutor. Peacekeepers stand at attention throughout the room. A hush descends over the court as the group is brought in and seated on a long and hard wooden bench facing the cushions.

Bowing to the empty cushions, Gilderlilly begins to present his case.

"My Lord King, these prisoners are brought before you on charges of thievery, assault on a Peacekeeper and the most heinous of crimes, impersonation of your Royal Majesty! I will prove that they are guilty of the crimes they are charged with and that they should be punished for those crimes!"
