Another LONG ass post -- For Vil lol
Exhaustion beginning to set into Jasmine, who was quickly depleting her initial energy source. She felt herself becoming faint while still up on higher elevations due to her "ice slide" she rode. Looking around to the other women on the team, she heard Morningstar's warning. Descending lower, she raised an arm to shield her silver irises temporarily. From behind her the rays of light lit up the whole city, and Frost was thankful she did not have to be a victim of such intense light that Morningstar manipulated and channeled.
Landing safely on the murky ground, she easily overheard a grief stricken cry around the time that Master Mold temporary went off - line. With the lights fading, Jasmine directed her gaze to the large bus, where the scream came from. She knew what it meant for she mirrored the same cry earlier. Other members of the team rushed by the wintery mutant to investigate.
Bowing her head respectfully, Jasmine was quiet. Smoke, fire, and debris lined the ground around the group. It resembled something out of a war movie, but this was real - it was their life.
Deciding to pay her respect, Jasmine walks slowly too tired to fully sprint or run like Alexis or Delilah. As she arrived inside the bus, she noticed the saddened looks on each of them. Her heart ached for Morgan and Delilah who took Sharon's death the hardest. Standing behind the other women, Jasmine reached down to place a cold hand on Morgan's shoulder gently. Her eyes compassionate and for once warm - there was no visible hatred or betrayal in them.
"You did what you could - that's all that matters. Remember her life, legacy, and her compassion for us all."
She did not comment about her own loss, instead she kept that private. But she knew Black Widow would have been informed. Jasmine seemed less guarded than usual and to reach out to Morgan had to be suicidal. Frost awaited for the team to file out to speak with Alycia.
"I'm sorry for your loss....she was an amazing woman. And I know I'm hardly one to soothe your pain but...I lost a daughter today as well. I know what its like to lose someone you love and cherish..." She stopped to bite down on her bottom lip that threatened to quiver, Jasmine cleared her throat to steady her emotions.
"I'm sealing you inside this bus Alycia....if you absolutely need to get out, use the floor board. Once under the bus - walk through the ice."
Her hand moved over Sharon's eyes to close them, giving the Senator one last look and Alycia. "Be safe." Standing up, Jasmine could hear the battle beginning to unfold again. Rushing out of the bus, she turned around with both of her palms up. Ice sprang from her hands as it zig - zagged freely along the bus - painting it in snow and ice. A protection for Alycia - they couldn't lose another person tonight. And as much as Alycia nearly had Jasmine incarcerated, she had to protect the lawyer.
Once the bus was protected, Jasmine's eyes scanned the battle ground to see the other women battling back - more viciously than before. With Morgan's wind attack forming, Frost sees an opportunity as her eyes morph into Foxfire's yellow irises.
Her temperature rising to a higher Fahrenheit. Red hands move up to target Master Mold's waist again - that gapping hole inside his "chest." Flames immediately igniting along Jasmine's body that ranged from red to orange. Fire escaping her hands as Morgan's wind power blew the fire INTO Master Mold while attempting to blow him away. This was not some ordinary fire, Jasmine called on the Sun's rays probably the most extreme and hottest temperatures around capable of melting anything like wax.
Beads of sweat trickling down her forehead, but Jasmine helped her sister. A first for the mutant, who would have thought? The fire swept and whirled around Master Mold's mid - section as lava was added into the equation. Wind and Fire working harmoniously - something Blaze and Morgan did together in the past.
As the tugging of her body, Jasmine released her hold of the sun's rays as Guardian pulled the mutant into the force field. Collapsing onto her knees, Jasmine was sweating profusely as she was watched on.
