Nicolas...It appears that you have a new reality to embrace. Far be it from me to stand in the way of that...but what i won't stand for, is to allow you to hide from Morgan a moment longer what you have done.

:: setting the stage and calling Nicolas out, Alison did not waver for a moment.::

You're role as the "unwitting victim" stops here. I can't help what happened before, to Isis, her sister or anything related, but I CAN do something where MY friends are concerned.

 

[Malice]

what's done in the darkness...

:: standing with Dominique and Helena, Diana looked upon her colleague and teammate and nodded to her thanks.::

The sisterhood takes care of its own...and with that sloppy psionic oaf on the loose, we could have found ourselves FOREVER hindered by his interference. we needed him out of the way and we wanted to save you.

:: She spoke of Set with contempt, religating him to the same level of Lord Spencer and Dr. James Marcus...men whom she had become tired of and found it necessary to eliminate them, even if it included getting outside help.::

:: as things seemed to settle among them all, Malice was fully prepared to have the Sisterhood disembark from this joint venture and return to New York. NOW that they knew where Aerie was, with Malice's photographic memory (via telepathy) and Dominique's spells, they could ALWAYS return to exact revenge on nicolas or attack the six at a later time ::

:: everyone felt the victory was both narrow and yet somehow hollow. NOT a good testimony for a battle. Set and Nicolas [even if it was indirectly] touched alot of people on deep, hurtfull levels in this caper. the boy had MORE than fullfilled Alison's original prophecy. and any damage the Sisterhood had saught to cause in their intial strike at the mansion couldnt compare to what cross he'd have to bear in the near future...and with what Alison was ready to do, it seemed that future was NOW::

:: Alison called him out and Diana could sense from Haleigh already the defenses going up as well as Nicolas hesitating. It was TOO LATE for them to hide the truth NOW though with Malice in their midst.::

telepathically to Helena: sharing information is not violating the final stage of the truce. there's no harm in making sure the TRUTH is revealed.

:: she smirks to Helena as she speaks via telepathy, BLOCKING Nicolas from hearing Helena's thoughts.::

:: she has extracted the full detail of memories, images and even the emotional feed back thanks ot her empathy. transferring the images to Helena, the two women will release a "real as life" playback, with Malice broadcasting the emotions via empathy as well. full sound, full visual...::

 

[Enchantrah]

Malice began to transfer each explicit, raw, juicy detail between Nicolas and Haleigh's romp in the hot tub to Helena's mind, causing the blonde's eyes to widden with glee. Glancing over to Diana, Helena smirked.

[to Malice] "Oh this is going to be good...."

With a subtle wave of her fingers, a real as life illusion of Nicolas and Haleigh in the hot tub appeared in front of everyone. They were making out quite heavily; Haleigh topless which only lead everyone to believe they were indeed naked in each other's embrace. Haleigh pulled on the silver chain that was around Nicolas' neck:

Haleigh: "No.... don't stop.... don't leave."

Even as they spoke TELEPATHICALLY, Malice was able to reach into their thoughts and extract that information too, feeding it to Helena as she continued to manipulate the image in front of her.

Haleigh: "I don't want you to go.... I want you to stay. Stay with me... be with me. You're good enough for me.... you'll always be good enough for me."

Nicolas began to kiss Haleigh, the image showing him pulling her on top of him.

Nicolas: "Make love to me Haleigh. Enjoy my body, and know that I will always be there for you."

And with that, the rated x scene continued, showing every neck extention, moan, motion, and kiss as Helena revealed to EVERYONE--but most importantly MORGAN--that Haleigh and Nicolas had slept together.

"Huh....not your typical abduction scenerio [looking to Morgan] wouldn't you say?"

Helena couldn't help but 'smile' with her eyes, seeing the blood drain out from Morgan's face from shock. Parting her lips with her tongue, Helena glance back over to Malice.

Exposed!

:: Malice rebroadcast the interaction from its very start to the finish, as Enchantra provided the ultimate in "visual experience", it was made all the more worse by the EMOTIONAL feedback. EVERYONE could FEEL the growing crescendo of need, YEARNING, LONGING between Haleigh and Nicolas as they COMPLETELY FORGOT Morgan AND ISIS. Naked bodies, flowing together, with no thought, no CARE for anything else. and even the AFTERGLOW seemed so tender...so LINGERING::

:: then comes the conversation Haleigh has with SET. as she seeks to bater her way into becoming Nicolas' QUEEN! making herself look less like a woman of valour and more like an opportunistic concubine.::

:: the scene played out...every sound, every move , every breath and moan was heard...every FEELING was relived. As Malice finishes the broadcast...her eyes cease glowing.::


:: speaking in a smug tone.::

Well...it's nice to know that while we were planning how to save your lives...you were busy maping out your own exit strategy...on your back....legs spread and mouths agape. and Haleigh...what a way to proove to Morgan how you would watch out for her....the DANGER of opening your legs for a man in a hottub...it must be unlike ANYTHING anyyone could imagine! The only OTHER thing you could do to further proove your resolve to protect her was by becoming Nicolas' QUEEN?

:: Malice stood with Helena, smirking as they did Alison's job for her.::

and Mike? Thank you so much for reminding us what a naive FOOL looks like. So EAGER were you to defend Your precious Nicolas during our time at the Hellfire mansion and all the while he prooved to be no better than any OTHER man who spends his time in the company of beautifull women. One is NEVER enough..and even in times of extreme duress...he finds that he does his BEST WORK from the WAIST DOWN.

Isis, we will take our leave of these people now. I am glad that WE dont have to be saddled with this colossal FAILURE of a man.

Oh and per our agreement....we will not be "crossing paths" for a while now. You have your goals...we have ours. now that HIS "Rampaging" oaf of a father has been dealt with, we can ALL get about our lives.

:: indicating SOME of the secret conversation that she'd had with Harbinger. The sisterhood and the six would enjoy a period of prolonged "peace" between each other as they each began to rebuild their individual lives.::

[Persephone]

:: Ava listened as Alison spoke down to Nicolas, indicating that there was something more to this whole situation than met the eye. And if almost on cue, an illusion brought on by Helena took center stage, setting the scenes of what had happened when Haleigh had been captured by Set. It was...shocking to say the least. Ava's mouth parted as her eyes widdened, watching her SISTER making love to NICOLAS! It was like watching a car accident....it was so vial and disturbing, but she couldn't look away. Her face expressed everything she wasn't saying at this point; disappointment, disgust, and ANGER. ::

:: Managing to rip her gaze away from the illusion, Ava looked over at her sister giving her an 'are you out of your mind' look. She kept her eyes locked on Haleigh....just in utter disbelief of everything she had just witnessed. But moreso, her expression showed she was DISAPPOINTED in her sister...Malice began to speak, saying the sisterhood's part in all this was now finished. As they took their leave, Ava finally pealed her eyes away from Haleigh long enough to watch them disappear via Isis' teleportation spell. ::

:: Everything was silent for a few seconds....most likely because everyone was in complete SHOCK. There had to be a logical explaination for this. Haleigh wasn't an adulterer....she had suffered through that with Zach. Ava's mind shuffled through different possibilities, until ONE stuck out in her mind. ::

:: Ava looked to Nicolas, her eyes filled with anger. ::

"You DID something to her, didn't you?! You manipulated her into doing this! [looking to Haleigh now] You didn't--you COULDN'T of done this willingly! Haleigh, after everything you went through with Zach....I KNOW you couldn't of been in your right mind!"

 

[Isis]

[ Isis stood with her Sisterhood counterparts and watched, along with the Six as Harbinger addressed Nicolas. There was something ELSE to this, something that even SHE was not aware of.]

[ and at THAT MOMENT, Malice and Enchantra, seemingly in concert with Harbinger, REVEALED what it was.]

[ while SHE and Spelbinder were held captive, pressed against a wall for HOURS, their lives at risk....NICOLAS was MAKING LOVE TO THAT WOMAN, BLACK WIDOW!]


Creature of wanton, rampant LUST!

[ Dominique shouted with disgust. as she turned her attention to Haleigh.]

and you! only a common WHORE would so easily offer herself to the touch of EVIL...the same evil that assaulted me, destroyed my sister and endangered the lives of YOUR FRIENDS!\

[and then to Nicolas]

Even in moments of DESPAIR you proove yourself to be JUST LIKE YOUR MURDERING FATHER! NEVER come me...NEVER contact me. YOU DONT DESERVE to know ANYTHING about my sister. The ONLY thing you have in common with her...is that you were so EASILY MANIPULATED AND CONTROLLED...

[ But Malice was ALSO rebroadcasting the EMOTIONAL feedback of the experience, which revealed that BOTH of them on SOME LEVEL didnt WANT it to stop.]

You WANTED this...and you used the SITUATION to excuse it!

[ looking at Malice and Enchantra]

and was this REALLY the best time? I want to be RID of him...not FURTHER REMINDED of WHY I DESPISE HIM! HE VIOLATED ME...and then he...

[ she was THOROUGHLY agitated with Malice and Enchantra and RIGHTFULLY SO. While it was TRUE that the truth should be exposed, THEY didnt take into account how it would effect HER, given what he had done to HER at the Mansion.]

[ But Dominique would allow NO MORE of her own emotional despair to be on public display for the Six...ESPECIALLY Nicolas. as Malice advised them that they were leaving and informed Alison that they would honor the remainder of their agreement, Isis' face hardens from distress to cold and aloof.]

[ she lifts her pointed finger up and moves it in a circular pattern as a ring of golden fire forms and from it a cylinder of sparkling golden haze swirls around the Sisterhood...a cystaline sound is heard as they teleport away.]

[ her recovery would be on her terms and in the privacy of the Hellfire Mansion which was now her home. The Six had their place and Dominique had her's...and it would not be with Nicolas.]

[ She had done what she was meant to...but she was not READY to continue in what the goddess had decreed....not yet.]

 

[Rampage]

Nicolas' color had faded and he now looked like himself before all of this. He was catching his breath when Alison decided that NOW was the time to do this, in front of THEM.

He looked at her, then to Haleigh, then to Morgan when the scene began to play out again, in complete detail. All of the feelings, emotions, and ACTS were displayed before a team that was increasingly shocked by its graphic nature. As it faded, Malice did what he expected her to do, so he had nothing to say to her. He owed her nothing. If there was ANY hurt on what happened right now, it was that the sisterhood left with Isis' condemnation of him. Of everyone here, SHE would most know how Set could be, would most understand the evil god's role in this. But she was gone, refusing to understand what had occurred and though he did not expect her to DEFEND him, it was painful to think that she would not even attempt to UNDERSTAND.

He looked at the faces before him. Morgan, Karen and Mike in shock, Haleigh...he could not even look at her right now, Delilah betraying her so-called KNOWLEDGE of all this, and Ava...her face betrayed ANGER. She spoke of what had to have happened, about how this could have happened.

Nicolas answered her, his voice grim.

She was NOT of her right mind, Ava. Set had twisted her loyalty to and feelings for me, destroyed utterly her loyalty to Morgan, enthralled her completely and sent her to me. Weakened by the rune and the victim of the focus of Set's direct mental domination for over an hour straight, I was no longer...in control of myself. It was us there, but Set was in control, making sure we did what we would have never done otherwise. He made sure that if his plan did not work, that the well would yet be poisoned after he was gone. That if he could not control Morgan, then he would be rid of her. I am sorry for all of this.

After this, Nicolas was silent again. He had little to say. He doubted he would be heard or understood. His face betrayed the shame he felt, the pain that he felt for hurting the three most important women in his life (Morgan, Haleigh, and Karen) as well as losing the only connection to the woman he desperately wanted to know: his OWN mother.

 

[Arsenal]

Mike scrambled to his feet after Set was banished, the god's warning ringing in his ears. He was no Seer, but he knew as the next few seconds unfolded that this was not over by ANY means.

Alison was arranging people around Morgan. Bad sign. Then Malice opens her mouth for more than fellatio. Bad sign. Then, the entire area is treated to the most awesome erotic showing in the history of the world, if not for the mind-numbing fact that it hurt everyone's feelings there. Proof that the Sisterhood could indeed fuck up a wet dream.:hehe2:

He felt for Morgan and Karen greatly though if it had been done the right way, he would have understood Nicolas making such a switch. Morgan was beautiful and nice in her own way, but a bit unstable and had massive issues with men, and her "sisters" were increasingly more trouble than SHE was worth. Meanwhile Haleigh was normal by comparison and she shared many interests with Nicolas. Plus she was far more understanding than the others. Still, that episode he just saw was not the way to do it, and Mike was man enough to know that the shit had officially hit the fan.

As Nicolas spoke, Mike felt for him. He had his own manly urges used against him, urges that females would not understand AT all. As he heard the young man speak, he wished he could hit a mute button. He knew this explanation shit was NOT going to fly. He muttered under his breath in a whisper, though not very quietly.

Goddammit. The hits just keep on coming...when Alison is right, boy, is she RIGHT. Fu-uuck. Hell hath NO fury...

 

[Shadow Weaver]

<< Karen stood on oneside of her daughter, while Delilah and Blaze stood on the other. Mike was beside Karen, a bit behind her. An uncertain silence seemed to fall over the group as the doctor noticed everyone gathered around Morgan, with Haleigh off to the side and Ava standing beside her; Alison the halfway mark between all of them and Nicolas.>>

<< The Sisterhood was at their 3 o'clock.>>

<< As Harbinger laid it out, Karen narrowed her sapphire blue eyes wiith intrigue and concern.>>

<< and then, the unthinkable. Karen gasps as she covers her mouth NICOLAS...and ....>>

HALEIGH!?

<< what they saw...it was BEYOND anything she thought she could expect from Alison. That it came from Malice and Helena made no difference. She couldnt have expected Nicolas OR Haleigh to tell the truth...and then..that LOOK from her eyes....that look of DISDAIN that was her trademark began to come over her face.>>

<< all she could remember was how SHE had been the victim of such betrayal! and how CHRISTOPHER had claimed to be telepathically coerced as well.>>

NOT GOOD ENOUGH, NICOLAS!

<< she said SHARPLY. He may have been Morgan's partner, but Karen was her MOTHER and the MOTHER was now going into PROTECT MODE.>>

<< and as Mike spoke...displaying ever more that insane sense of "humour" he seemed to develope during this caper. Karen smacked his hand, reprimanding him.>>

QUIET, MICHAEL!


<< the changes in her personality since becoming SHADOW WEAVER were more apparent. Ava had experienced it, as had Mike. The woman DEFINATELY was in touch with a darker, more agressive side of herself than she had been before.>>

<< The sisterhood took their leave, but not before Dominique exploded with anger. Not just at Nicolas, but at Haleigh for being what appeared to be nothing more than a weak minded SLUT who consorted with the ENEMY! It was noticed though that Dominique ALSO took exception to Malice and Enchantra as well. But the Sisterhood's involvement seemed to be at an end and as they left, she looked at her daughter, who showed signs of growing faint! Delilah and Blaze do their best to steady her as Karen immediately goes into attack mode n ot wanting to hear ANOTHER WORD about how some OUTSIDE FORCE made them do it. >>

It was so EASY for you two to FORGET that my daughter's life was at stake , Isis' life was at stake...OUR lives were at stake...and WE were going out of our MINDS worried about what couldve been happening to YOU! all the while as you helped yourselves to EACH OTHER! Malice ALSO played back the EMOTIONAL feedback. You werent THAT "ensorcelled" that you couldnt FEEL how WRONG it was what you were doing? how BEYOND tastless and VULGAR it was?

[Firebird]

Alison’s cryptic remark caused a few eyebrows to perk up in curiosity but Blaze could already tell through the icy-cobalt blue a storm was coming. Stepping a little more closer to Morgan, Blaze wrapped her arm around her sister’s waist firmly. Blaze had assumed Alison would reveal the betrayal of Haleigh and Nicolas. But, another person would make sure to pull the rug right under everyone’s feet. Wanton illusions of Haleigh and Nicolas together in a hot tub, obviously not TOO worried about the situation.

As each explicit nature played out realistically, Blaze tightened her grip on Morgan’s waist. Truly disgusted at what she saw. Her stomach clenched tightly only imagining how MORGAN felt at this. Two people she placed her trust in had stabbed her in the heart. Not only did Nicolas AVOID Morgan but he didn’t fess up either. Which, in Blaze’s book ran deeper than betrayal. Every muscle in her body tightened but on the exterior she seemed calm. Unfortunately, the sage-green eyes of Firebird’s would ignite into a flickering yellow. A sign that Blaze was upset despite her futile attempt to stay calm. As an element of fire, she could be spontaneous, uncontrollable, and hot-headed.

Remaining silent, Blaze felt a bitter taste in the back of her mouth. Peering over to Malice and Enchantra, Blaze knew they were responsible. Was this really necessary to project now? A part of her wanted to thank them for bringing this to their attention. Yet the other part of her knew this was some ploy to provoke a rift between the team. Which was quickly working. The Sisterhood quickly departed with Malice’s coy words lingering in her own mind.

Ava and Karen were quick to lash out verbally, which was to be expected. Ava was Haleigh’s younger sister and Karen was Morgan’s mother. Inhaling a sharp breath, Blaze shut her eyes to try and remain calm. She needed to be there for her sister, not make things worse. There were circumstances she wasn’t aware of since she was just an alternate. But just looking over to Morgan ignited yet another fire pit within her stomach. Clenching her fists tightly, Nicolas spoke to defense himself and Haleigh. Claiming they were under some sort of mind control. Shaking her head, a few strands of her hair cascaded over her shoulders.


“I of all people know the effects of mind control and what it feels like to be manipulated. But even I know that in order to be manipulated there has to be a spark to be ignited. Some sort of dormant EMOTION for them to prey upon.”

Firm words spoke clearly through clenched teeth, attempting not to melt that Hershey Kiss right where he stood! Karen’s words were cruel, bitter, and venomous but were applauded by the fire elemental. Hell hath no fury like a protective mother, especially Shadow Weaver! Damn!

“Karen, although your words duly noted and respected, let’s not add more fuel to the fire. Let’s THINK about exactly why Malice and Enchantra revealed this. Before we get out of hand and all Jerry Springer let’s think about what kind of MOTIVE they would have by revealing this. They knew it would cause a rift...which it did. What Nicolas and Haleigh did is inexcusable being controlled or not. Its not something easily forgivable or even forgivable at all. As a mother its your duty to PROTECT your daughter and nobody is saying you can’t. But there comes a time and place for everything. We’re all exhausted, battle worn, and emotional right now. As a psychologist you know the consequences of acting out on personal feelings. I’m not here to coddle them because I’m truly disgusted by evening looking at them right now. I FEEL the same way as you Karen. Morgan may not be my sister from my reality but when I see her its like looking at mine. The need to lash out is STRONG. But what good will it do except make this whole situation worse.”

Surprisingly, Blaze stepped forward to do damage control. Sure she was pissed off at Haleigh and Nicolas. But on the other hand she didn’t know everything that went on before she arrived on Aerie. She had heard a few stories from Alison, Karen, etc.

“Haleigh and Nicolas both realize the ramifications of their actions and what its done to not only themselves but Morgan and everyone else on this team. They have to ACCEPT this betrayal every time they look at one another and Morgan. Knowing that when they look at each other it was from mind manipulation and Set’s control. Knowing that they can NEVER have the other. I don’t know about the rest of you but to me that goes beyond any physical pain anyone can bring.”

Pausing, Blaze remained standing next to Morgan with Karen and Delilah beside the statuesque blonde. “There will come a time when karma has a strange way of coming back to haunt others. All I’m asking from EVERYONE here is that we try to calm down before things get any worse. If you guy’s can’t do that then at least think of MORGAN and how she’s feeling right now.”

 

[Persephone]

:: Ava's head felt like it was splitting in two as Karen lashed out at Nicolas, but more notably, Haleigh. Blaze tried to do damage control as the goddess lifted her hand to her forhead, trying to remain calm. Haleigh was her sister; she would defend her no matter WHAT the circumstances. But even THIS was hard for Ava to stomach. Mainly because it was involving NICOLAS of all people. ::

"Wait, wait, wait. Everyone is entitled to FEELING and emotional connection with someone, even LOVE that person. Apparently, Haleigh [Ava found it hard to muster out these words]...loves Nicolas, but she KEPT those emotions in check. She NEVER acted on them before now. She never even HINTED about her feelings for Nicolas before now. There is no crime in desiring someone secretly who's involved with someone else. If there was, then EVERYONE here would be guilty. [shaking her head] I'm not excusing what has happened. In fact, i'm extremely TICKED OFF [looking over at Haleigh] about the situation...[returning her eyes back to the others], but Haleigh cares for Morgan. She wouldn't purposely DO this to her unless she were PUSHED into it. After everything that happened between Zach and Sharon [glancing over at Sharon], do you honestly believe she would turn around and do the same thing to Morgan?"

:: Ava knew her words would fall on deaf ears. Everyone from Morgan to Blaze, to Karen and Delilah were all burning holes through Haleigh. If looks could kill.....But she had to say SOMETHING. She knew Haleigh, better than anyone here, and she knew her sister would NEVER do something like this unless it was forced. ::

:: Now allowing her eyes to rest onto Nicolas, they grew dark. ::

"And YOU.....don't you DARE THINK about coming near her [Haleigh], do you hear me?! You ARE your father's child....you're as disgusting and putrid as he is but WORSE because you HIDE behind your fake charm and innocence. [turning to Mike, Ava pointed her finger at him] and DON'T YOU say ANYTHING on his behalf! I think YOU'VE said ENOUGH tonight!"

 

[Silver Swan]

the new drama

[ the battle was won. Like Firebird, this was Sharon's first OFFICIAL battle as a member of the Six. How things had CHANGED from so long ago when she was, as Alycia would say "only human". She was GLAD to help drive Set out of this dimension, but she wasnt sure what she could do about the PRESENT situation.]

[ the images, and playback of what Nicolas and Haleigh did...it was shocking and increasingly vulgar to most present. Sharon remained calm in her facial expression. For several among them, this scenario hit home. For Karen, she had been the woman cheated on, just as her daughter was now. Sharon's OWN situation involving Zach was reference. She remained expressionless as Persephone glanced at her. The key difference between Zach and Sharon vs. Haleigh and Nicolas was that Zach had been seeing Sharon PRIOR to committing to Haleigh AND that SHARON didnt KNOW about Haleigh's "emotional investment" in Zach. Back then, Sharon's dealings with Haleigh were limited.]


[ it was all deterioarating fast...betrayal, anger, disbelief. Sharon could hear the rapid heart beats and the punctuated breathing from more than one person. even Dominique had something to say before the Sisterhood, two of whom had made this "bombshell" known to them all, departed.]

[ part of her felt badly for Nicolas, but so soon after this problem with Set, she could not IMMEDIATELY abandon the images of him attacking and grossly violating Dominique at the mansion. The revelation that Nicolas may have been raised by Gustav, her one time lover after she became a widow, but that he was the "seed" of a monster...that he could be so EASILY taken over. It was VERY monstrous and difficult to accept.]

[ but she herself had been "transformed" and he endured HER nightmare to help save her. Maybe this would be her chance to repay him. Regaining most of her humanity, and that being strengthed by her time with the Amazons, Sharon remembered the love she had for several particular members of the six, but unlike some of them, she never played by rules of politics. she did what SHE wanted or felt was best. they ALL knew she was hardly intimidated by anyone.]

[ she waited for a few moments, deciding that now was not yet time for her to get involved. Karen was angry, Morgan looked like she was going to pass out and FIREBIRD was doing her best to keep things calm. Persephone was torn between shock and sympathy for Morgan and the need to defend her sister. but the mutate knew this was all just the beginning.]

 

[Arsenal]

Mike burned inside as he listened for the inevitable. He did not move or flinch when Karen "popped" him. He understood when she spoke, to a point. Unfortunately, Karen, Morgan and Alison had the luxury of being protected from mental control, of not worrying about being dominated in that way. He would speak to her about this, but NOW was NOT the time.

Then Ava spoke. It was what he would have expected, but what made him boil was her last words, as if she were in charge. Mike stared as she pointed at him, the responded, his tone even. He was not here to escalate the situation, and he stayed calm throughout.

He turned to Alison. His face betrayed deep disappointment. he felt as if their talk was a waste at this point.

But was all of this TRULY necessary, Seer? You had both the knowledge of what was to come and the ability to stop the sisterhood from...THAT display. You showed Nicolas, you showed us all, but WHO did it REALLY hurt? That's who it hurt MOST.

Mike pointed to Karen and Morgan. He then spoke to everyone, trying to back Blaze's play.

I am not excusing ANYONE'S pain here. But as you go along, I can tell you as someone who IS powerless...when you are overpowered and someone has taken you over like that...there is often little you can do. That is what will eat at them the most. Two of the most powerful people on the planet, and they could not protect those they most care about. The scary part is, this could have been any of us not named Alison, Morgan, or Karen. You may not accept it today, but that makes it no less true. SET was the enemy here, not each other.

Mike looked at the team and realized that there was little anyone was going to do to help fix this, that they were permanently in their own corners. He shook his head.

Turning to Persephone, Blaze could see the Goddess was upset with her sister. It was obvious in her chocolate eyes. Quietly observing her from where she stood next to Morgan. It was a heart felt argument, one that Blaze could understand to a degree. If anyone knew the real Haleigh it would be her own blood.

“Feeling one thing and acting on it are two very different things. Which is exactly my point I was trying to make. There were obviously emotions that were concealed in an effort to protect Morgan. You are right, Haleigh did not act upon them at the time and neither did Nicolas. However, in this situation, Ava, nobody is innocent including your sister. You can attempt to isolate Nicolas from your sister but let’s not forget it takes TWO to tango. Haleigh is just as guilty as Nicolas for what has escalated from love to lust.”

Blaze didn’t feel one was more at fault than the other. Both equally surrendered to their feelings, which were now a topic of discussion among the Six.

Shaking her head, Blaze motioned to Mike, “Although he can be beyond pig headed and stubborn and sometimes a little condescending, Mike was only supporting someone he believed in. Like a mentor looking out for a student. Its human nature to make mistakes. There is no need to attack him at this moment, especially after he saved you earlier, Ava.” Whether Ava liked it or not, Blaze was honest, up front, and real. She was hardly intimidated by anyone.

Mike would openly discuss his feelings as well as address Alison. “Just when I thought progress was being made.” She grumbled under her breath before glancing at Mike this time. “As a keeper of time, Alison HAS to allow things to play out. Otherwise there will be dire consequences by altering such events. Do not blame her for what has occurred recently. Its not easy being Alison, even I can see that.

Growling under her breath, Blaze flamed out to appear next to Mike as she grasped his bicep, “I understand that your frustrated, that you may at times feel inadequate, or maybe even like an outcast. But running or avoiding is NEVER the answer. You wanna prove yourself to this team then stay here, take what’s said, and deal with it! I can see under all of that macho masculinity of yours is a man who has a heart of a bear. But why not show THEM that too? Nicolas is going to need you while Morgan needs her girls and her mother. In order for us....ANY of us, which includes YOU are to deal with this then we must do it TOGETHER. You’ll find Mike that nobody is more stubborn than me.

So what do you say Tarzan, you gonna come back with me?”

 

[Harbinger]

:: As Alison stood there, if she was caught off guard by what Malice and Enchantra did, she didnt show it. But it SEEMED that perhaps she knew they would be the ones to reveal it, based on a subtle comment she had made to Firebird back when they first arrived on Aerie and she ALLOWED it to go this way. The fact that Malice acknowledged an apparent agreement between them that neither group would interfere with the other for the time being seemed to bear that out as well.::

:: she said nothing as the Sisterhood departed, but nodded as Malice indicated they would honor their secret arrangment.::

:: she held fast to her time staff and remained stone faced as Ava and Karen reacted. ::

:: Firebird tried to keep the calm as best she could while Delilah was trying to keep a visibly shocked Morgan from passing out. Alison didnt move. As Mike tried to chide her again, she turned the table.::

"Set made me do it" is hardly an excuse. Malice ALSO provided us the EMOTIONAL feedback of both of them. they WANTED this and THIS situation was the PERFECT OUT for both of them.

"So and so made me do it" is the same excuse Christopher gave to Karen...it didnt stop HER from doing the right thing, which was to DUMP him and that's what Morgan needs to do NOW for her own piece of mind. no one in their right mind would want to be with a man who CLEARLY finds her to be "too unstable"...having "too many issues with men" or maybe i should just continue in this "grand reveal" and share with them ALL of the remarks Nicolas has made about Morgan, Karen, Delilah and anyone ELSE who cares about Morgan's well being. Maybe i should just expose BOTH of you for the FRAUDS that you are! Let Haleigh have him. She was all but TOO WILLING to offer herself to him before.

:: an emotional outburst on Alison's part...rare but no less shocking. the Seer BLINKS out of sight...apparently leaving the Six behind indefinately. the wounds from her experience in the alternate timeline had not quite healed. the unforgiveness in her heart toward Nicolas was reaching EPIC proportions and THIS prooved it as she seemingly ABANDONNED her family.::

:: Blaze jumped in once again trying to play mediator, but this time her words only made Ava 'flare' up. ::

"Don't put words in my mouth. I never SAID she was blameless. [lifting her hands in the air in a 'i give up' gesture] This is getting us anywhere."

:: Circling her body away from the group, she didn't even bother to acknowledge Mike's comment. But it was until Blaze said that ther was no need to attack Mike considering he saved her earlier, the goddess turned back around with an even glare. ::

"I don't care if he rode up on a white horse wearing armor! All he does is fuel the flames at every turn. With Nicolas, with Malice and Enchantra, and especially with Alison! [looking to Mike] One of these days you will find yourself in a fatal situation because of that gaping hole in your face, I promise you THAT."

:: Ava was finished addressing Mike. As far as she was concerned he could mosey on into the woods and never come out again. But Ava's point was proven as Alison exploded in a fit, addressing the situation. She exclaimed that she was through with Mike and everyone who would always second guess her and question her abilities. Ava's eyes softened as the precog explained that she would be leaving the six and that certain people wouldn't be welcomed at Minerva's mansion. A sudden pang of saddness waved over Ava, not wanting Alison to leave. After everything that had been through...and for it to 'end' like this. ::

"Alison wai--"

:: But it was too late. Watching her blink away, Ava's eyes shifted over to Blaze. She didn't say anything, but her eyes relayed the message of 'point proven', referring to Mike's constant need to question and critisize everyone. He had finally drove Alison away. Everything was falling apart. Haleigh and Nicolas were now the designated outcasts of the six, Alison had basically abandonded them, and Morgan.....had yet to even SPEAK, which was ALWAYS a bad sign. And as the events continued to play out, Ava was growing more and more agitated. ::

 

[Silver Swan]

[ It was going from bad to worse. Mike ONCE AGAIN provoked Alison and as Firebird tried to reason with them, Sharon took a step forward.]

The less you defend him, and allow him to speak for HIMSELF, the better this will be Mike.

[ she said in that cold, airy voice of hers as her silver eyes locked onto his.]

He's not a boy anymore...he's a man and his actions...even if they werent ENTIRELY of his choosing, must be accounted for by HIM!

[ Ava was getting terribly upset as well. Sharon suspected that she might have to RESTRAIN her if she attacked Mike or even Nicolas. NOT because she was declaring sides...yet...but because she didnt want to see anyone get HURT. At least not the PHYSICAL pain to add to the mental and emotional pain that was in abundance. She firmly moved Firebird behind her. She didnt want Blaze caught in a cross fire.]

[ and then there was Morgan. Who STILL had yet to react...but was looking more and more pale by the moment.]


[ Alison was about to leave.]

Alison, dont leave...that wont solve anything....

Mike walked off, moving too quickly to hear Ava's rejoinder. He also understood that Sharon was right, Nicolas had to take this on his own. But he could not find the strength tol eave the young man hanging at such a crucial time. As he moved, he felt a hand on his arm. He started a bit, his nerves understandably on edge as the night wore on, but it was Blaze. He exhaled as she spoke, as she told him what he already knew, but she still had the strength to reach out. He appreciated that. He exhaled heavily.

I understand that Ava has a heavy role to play. But I asked her a honest question about whetehr she allows things to go to her liking as she chooses. She as much as admitted that was the case. I found that disappointing, especially in that Nicolas actually REALLY looked up to her.

He held both of Blaze's hands for a moment, looking into her face as he spoke quietly, almost afraid to say the words. he was grateful that someone even gave a damn to speak with him, and he simply vented to Blaze.

I feel a real friendship with you, and I think you with me, to some degree. To some degree I think we appreciate how each other looks. Is that a crime? NO. But here...with this THING that we fought tonight, with Malice...it is. There is a reason that Morgan made you a talisman to protect your mind. I looked at that whole scene as it played out and...god help me..it could have been us, it could have been anyone that is not a sorceress with a psi-screen that has ever looked and appreciated anyone, or ever cared for anybody. I undertstand that they are hurt, but they have the luxury of being so strong, of not having to worry about something like this. I do not, and god help me, I have tremendous sympathy for those that have to worry like I do.

Ava is screaming her head off, but Nicolas lost a lot of his offensive mental power defending her against the Olympians when Aphrodite gave him a stroke and nearly killed him. Then Isis cast that goddamn rune that nearly killed him, then a mind strong enough to CATCH Malice's psi-javelin got to him alone. What was he supposed to do? What could YOU have done?...me? For them it seems so EASY, but it is not. And they don't see that.

Mike was weary, his mind and body had been through a lot. He steadied himself as Blaze invited him back, squared his shoulders and nodded, turning to lead her back to the group...

 

[Rampage]

Nicolas listened silently. He knew that they would not understand. he simply stood and let them vent. Alsion was predictable yet dissapointing, essentially deciding on her own that THIS was how Morgan would find out. Before he or Haleigh had a chance to tell her, in front of their mortal enemies.

As the scene played out, everyone speaking in their own turn. Nicolas stood there, silently watching...Morgan. He knew that the tempest was coming but, he was unprepared for her words.
