Hellfire - White King & Queen Quarters
The King loved to sleep in the arms of his Queen. While the two shared a shockingly active and diverse sex life, they shared true intimacy only with each other. Their bedroom was their kingdom, a place for only them, and Cameron's favorite thing in the entire multiverse was simply
sleeping in bed with his wife. So when she left particularly early that morning to meet with his mother, he was a bit grumpy. Still in bed, he blinked his eyes as he felt the warm lips of his wife against his, he grabbed for her, but she flexed with her greater strength, batting her eyelashes for a moment and telling him she would meet him in the Great Hall. He just wasn't the same person without morning sex. As Haleigh was no longer in his bed, he had no need to be there, so he headed into the shower and changed something more
appropriate as he headed into the living room, grabbing a cup of coffee and settling down into the sofa, casting his mind out across the mansion.
Nothing could be hidden from The White King and his Queen. They knew every keystroke and every thought, and Cameron liked to keep it that way. Sex was powerful but
knowledge was the true power of Hellfire. Well that, and what you did with that knowledge. Cameron had placed orbs of astral energy throughout the mansion that acted as his psychic eyes in the mansion. It would be too taxing to enter every mind of the mansion every morning (and time consuming), so he set up his own surveillance system, inspired by his wife. Much like she shifted through security feeds, Cameron flipped through the impressions and thoughts these different orbs contained. He could sense Ashley's irritation at Alek before The White Party. He watched with perversed arousal the sexual encounter between John and Ava, as he came to understand that breakfast would be a little bit more interesting than he anticipated. One thing was for sure, his
mother had been all over the mansion. She had ways of negating his abilities and her status as a technomancer left her uniquely qualified to shield herself from Haleigh. Whoever she spoke with and wherever she went in the mansion could not be determined and it drove The White King crazy.
"She's even more obnoxious than when she was Queen."
[pausing]
"Erika..."
The night of The White Party, he had found his mind blocked from his sister. She had developed a PSI Screen, which if Cameron was honest, was a bit catostrophic. The only way Cameron was able to reel his sister in was because of his power allowing him to know her true motivation, the deeper meaning beneath her petty little games. He could subdue her, keep her safe from herself. But now? She was operating without a net, and he was a bit nervous of what she might be capable of. Her PSI Screen meant that not only did he have to worry about her mutant ability, but that she had developed a whole HOST of magickal powers, and Cameron was not the biggest fan of magick users, or at least ones that weren't his mother. He didn't like things he couldn't control. It was why he had killed Morgan Victoria when they were teenagers. But that was another story. His mind tried to locate his sister's room but he could only see white noise. He crinkled his nose and growled.
"These women are starting to get on my nerves."
His mother and his sister thought they could storm into HIS castle and do as they pleased. He would put a stop to that before the weekend's end. This wasn't his mother's empire to run anymore. The King Family's destiny was in his hands, and ultimately, if either Erika or Kelly put him or his wife in danger, he would strike them down, in way's that would make Morgan's death look like child's play, and it had been very
bloody. He moved towards The Black Wing, his mind honing in on a rather distraught looking Benjamin Lewis and Ava Cassadine.
"Looks like the Bishop is finally bursting."
Cameron had always liked Ben, but he wasn't a fan of his gentle nature. He had grown up in Hellfire and managed to be it's softest resident. Sometimes it was refreshing but more often than not he had wanted to volunteer to castrate the poor bastard, since it was clear he either didn't know how to use his dick or didn't
want, both of which were criminal. He began to listen into the conversation.
Persephone said:
Ben: "Kelly King is a miserable FUCKING bitch..and I'll kill her if it's the last thing I ever do."
Of course this was all because of Kelly King, that woman like a fucking plague on the Black Court. Ever since she was run out it's been her soul mission to sabotage Ava and fuck with anyone within the Black Court. Ava sighed out, pinching the bridge of her nose knowing she had to ask what Kelly did, but really really not wanting to deal with the bullshit the bitch was spreading.
"Fuck...what did she do this time?"
Cameron furrowed his brow.
"So she IS up to something..."
<< CRASH! >>
His mind was jolted from The Black Wing as a set of plates and glasses came crashing off of a serving court moving through his room thanks to a clumsy maid.
"Oh for fuck's sake!"
He eyed the woman up and down, not amused as she stood there terrified.
"Are you going to clean that up or are you just going to STAND there?"
The maid quickly went to work.
"Grrr..I AM grumpy."
He decided that he would figure out his mother's naughty little plans soon enough, and though he
was interested in looking in, considering it was the most emotion he had ever seen from Ben, sometimes Cameron liked a little surprise. There
was a downside to knowing everything, and he had already spoiled the news of John and Ava for himself. Getting up from the sofa, he spritzed himself with some Versace Pour Homme and slide on his custom made Bulgari Magsonic Sonnerie Tourbillon
watch, the gift that Haleigh had given him when he became her White King.
"It's all about timing." she said when she gave it to him. He felt it an appropriate day to wear it. He gave himself a final look in the mirror.
"Goddammit, King. You are one handsome son of a bitch."
As he headed out of his suite, The White King's mind went towards The Red Queen. Ashley was one of the few people in the mansion that MINDED Cameron's mental intrusions and he kept out of her head as a sign of respect. Ashley could take care of herself, there was no question about that. She had lived longer than any of them, but he was worried. She was moving the Red Court in a different direction, which he liked, but the relationship between Alek and Ashley seemed so ready to..break and crumble. Ashley wasn't unprofessional, but she held in a LOT, and over the years, he had seen a time or two where her inability to process her feelings spilled out in deadly and dangerous ways. And most of the time, it was pretty damn amusing and sexy. But this weekend wasn't the time for it. Ashley was a girl who liked to keep her hand in the flame for as long as she could stand it before pulling away, and he wanted to make sure he didn't have anything to worry about this weekend. He would seek her out before the evening's festivities. He hated entering a public forum without Haleigh on his arm, and he was
particularly mortified that he was the only King or Queen from the American Branch that had arrived. He might as well have shown up with a dunce cap on, the only leader of a court without a thing to do this morning.
"Time for a cocktail..."
He waved and made pleasantries as he sent a thought call to Ava and Alek.
>> [thought call:]
"Alright assholes get down to The Great Hall. I down here by myself. It's embarrassing!"
and then he smiled and whispered in his wife's ear.
"You left without fucking me this morning, my Queen. I plan on tanning your hide as punishment for your atrocities against our court."
Cameron laughed to himself as he played with his wife. He often liked to enter her mind and say whatever dirty thing popped into his head at the most inopportune times, if only to annoy BOTH his wife and mother. He took a spot near the center of the room, turning on the charm and integrating seemlessly into the crowd of people.
