A Weekend Affair # 2 - The Black Breakfast

The Hellfire Club - - The White Wing

She told him to let Her go, but he couldn't do that. He'd realized his mistake, as soon as he saw Her reaction to it. He said he was sorry, begged Her forgiveness, and told Her that Cobra hadn't meant anything. Well, anything more than revenge, but he didn't want that anymore.

Ash: I saw you. I saw you with her last night. The way you were looking at her. Showing her your teeth...

"Yeah," He started in a low tone, "And I saw You with the Dead Thing's King, smiling at him, petting him, didn't you know that would make me want to kill him?"

Ash: You didn't even notice I was leaving. You didn't try and stop me...

"Could I have stopped You? Would that not have angered You, if I impeded Your business?"

He held Her to his chest with one arm, as he reached for Her jaw to turn Her face to his for a kiss. He searched Her gaze for absolution.

"My Queen, please... I thought You'd like Cobra to join us... but when I heard You with him... and the Dead Thing... in the little bear's bedroom... I lost it."

He turned Her in his arms, so that She was facing him. If the men fixing the door were watching, if anybody was watching, he didn't notice or care. All his attention was on Her.

"I don't like seeing or hearing You with other men. It makes me angry, jealous."

This entire ordeal with Kelly, Erika, and Ben was giving her a headache. Since day one Kelly had been a thorn in Ava's side, but now she was going the extra mile but fucking not only with her Bishop, but ultimately Cameron as well. It was going to be a shit show to say the least. John pressed the back of his hand to her head with concern and Ava couldn't help but softy smile at that. He asked if she wanted to lay down but she declined, only wanting a couple of minutes to regroup before heading to breakfast. Taking his hand, she walked them both to the couch and snuggled into him, laying her head on his chest. Ava began to gently play with the ring she had given John, incredibly glad that he was there for more as more than just her Rook now.

John: "Me too. I'll always be next to you, no matter what happens. I will always love you more than anything else in this world. And I will always be your fist when you need it."

Ava tilted her head back to look up at him, eyes searching for something that could give her an indication as to how she got so damn lucky with him. She truly didn't deserve a man like John, but she would hold onto him with everything she had.

"I don't deserve you..."

She murmured softly, her hand gripping his tightly. She didn't say this in a self deprecating way, Ava was just truly taken aback by his unwavering love for her for all these years, and his fierce loyalty as he stood by her through everything.

"But i'm not letting you go."

She finally smiled, that was until she heard another knocking on her door.

"What now?"

She groaned, shutting her eyes with frustration. As Queen her job was never over, but dammit, there were more people knocking on her door and texting her this morning than her entire fucking reign.

"COME IN."

Ava didn't bother moving from John's arms, not caring who the fuck it was or what they witnessed before her announcing John as King. He WAS King, announcements aside, and she was his Queen. Period. But it wasn't one of her court members as expected, it was a mousy maid quietly pushing the chamber room door open looking terrified. She was holding a piece of paper in her hand as she entered, the look on the girl's face as she saw Ava in John's arms not lost to her. She was confused but tried to hide it by bowing her head.

Aid: "My Queen....I...I have a note from the princess. She asked me to give it to you."

"Fantastic."

The aid lifted her eyes to look at John before they quickly flicked over to Ava realizing she was staring inappropriately. She extended the note out to Ava, bowing her head once again. Grabbing the note from the girl, she quickly scampered out of her room as Ava sat up, unfolding it to read it. Ava's eyes narrowed at reading that Cassandra would be excusing herself from the breakfast because the White Bishop attacked her dog.

"Are you fucking kidding me?!"

Ava swung her legs down from the couch and planted her feet on the floor, sitting completely upright now. She handed John the note as she stood, seething.

"This is a Black Court hosted event, and it's own princess won't be attending?! How the hell is this going to look? Especially when I make the announcement that you are our new King? [shaking her head] I'm done. DONE with her foolishness!"

Lifting the hem of her skirt to reveal a holster securely strapped around her upper thigh that held one of her Mystic Daggers. Withdrawing it, Ava began to storm toward her chamber room doors ready to find Cassandra and cut her fucking head off.

So Ava would rather have had Cass murder Gia in the middle of the event? Good to know. ;) :p
Hellfire Club – Great Hall

:: Her King had woken her up early New York time so Bretta was a wee bit annoyed with him. He was complaining about that, to use the vulgar American term, ‘cockblocker’ Fairchild. Bretta had grinned. So she wasn’t the only one with a plan to keep William in line while they were all away. After she got off her mobile with him, she couldn’t get back to sleep, so she put on her workout clothes and used the gym facilities at Hellfire to get some exercise in before breakfast. ::

What a workout!

:: Coming back to her suite in a much better mood than she left in, she took a shower and then changed into a flouncy red dress. Then she headed for breakfast. Arriving, she headed for the coffee bar and ordered a latte from the barista. Taking it, she headed over to the food table and got a muffin, some fruit, a scone, and some toast before heading for a spot beside Daniel. ::

“How was your night, Daniel? I didn’t really get to talk to many people, but I did learn some information.”

:: She tore off a bit of the scone and popped it in her mouth. She looked at her Bishop. ::

“Did I miss anything interesting yet?”

Hellfire - War Room

Haleigh: "I'll stand, thanks."

< The White Queen had the delivery of an obstinate teen, and it both amused and annoyed Kelly at the same time. Haleigh had taken out every single one of her enemies, and she was still a smart ass. But Talisman enjoyed women with character. She took a moment to admire her sparkly black razor sharp manicure for a moment before looking over at Haleigh with a smirk. >

"It is a little drab in here..."

< Talisman held her hands out as a crackle of her bright green energy signature crackled around her hands like halos as she ignited a spell. The walls, furniture, and floors found themselves covered in nanites, that warped and molded into the landscape, recreating the War Room in at the height of it's appeal. The dark and dusty room had been brightened up to reveal antique wood paneling and victorian furniture. And on the bar near the plush velvet sitting couches was a bottle of bourbon and a flute of hemlock. Kelly had found that the best deals were often made over strong drinks. >

"Better? Now, have a seat dear. We haven't all day."

< The two of them sat down as Kelly smoothed her dress around her, taking a moment to look at Haleigh as she settled herself. She was certainly beautiful, and her very nature was wild and enigmatic, just like her mother. It was what drew Cameron to her, and it was what had drawn Kelly to Malice. It was a feeling of being with somebody who seems as depraved as you but not scared to embrace it as you are. You just wanted to watch them lay waste to anything that got in their path. That was Diana, and that was Haleigh. However, the fact that Haleigh had been more than willing to lay waste to her mother was unsettling. While Diana and Kelly often butted heads on how to operate, they NEVER would have turned on each other like Haleigh turned on her mother. But she guessed that was a mistake on Diana's part. Seeing the relationship develop with Haleigh and Diana had caused Kelly to raise her children in such a way that they would always NEED her approval deep down, despite possibly not wanting it. >

"The weekend so far has been a success..You and Cameron have made an impact on European Court, and you didn't even need to fuck any of them to do it. Nicely done...last night anyway."

< She grabbed her flute of hemlock and took a small sip, setting it down on the table. >

"The White Court is experiencing a revitalization, and I'm pleased to see it. The Black Court could only reign for so long after my departure I guess. Especially after you took my Black Prince.."

< Crossing her legs. >

"I must admit, I was delighted to see you extending the olive branch to the EHC. The dust has settled on your rebellion and it's time to create new alliances before one of the courts attempts to take the lead. It gives me hope that you might be putting your foot in the race..."

< She smuldered at Haleigh. >

"I've heard things around the office...as I often do. You intend to take Hellfire global. The adventurer in me is stirred. I'd like to know, as a world renowned diabolical genius and mad scientist, what do you mean when say you'd like to take Hellfire global?"

< She had cards to play, but first she wanted to truly know, out of curiousity what haleigh was up to. >

"What does my daughter in law envision for the future of Hellfire? There is no court division between us any longer, Haleigh. You are my family. And our dynasty is my only concern. Please, speak freely."

< Haleigh may not have respected blood, but Cameron did, and Haleigh respected her husband, which had forged a connection between the woman that had often been a bit venomous, but deep. Kelly had known Haleigh her entire life, had unknowingly been in the lab the day she was harvested. She would have liked to think that she had a hand in helping to shape her into the woman she was today. So despite Haleigh's ability to slice and dice her own flesh and blood, there was a bit of love there, if only for familiarity's sake. She awaited The White Queen's answer. >

The Red Wing

Ashley tried to get away, but he stopped her, holding her from behind against his chest. He told her Cobra meant nothing to him, but she didn’t believe it: she’d seen them together the night before. And despite everything, his arms around her, his lips on her neck, felt wonderful. She could have just let him hold her like that forever.

"Yeah," He started in a low tone, "And I saw You with the Dead Thing's King, smiling at him, petting him, didn't you know that would make me want to kill him?"

That gave her pause. Did he really care that much?

“It was business. You know we need that alliance. It’s not like I was going to fall in love with him or something.”

And Savage hadn’t even tried to stop her.

"Could I have stopped You? He Would that not have angered You, if I impeded Your business?"

He turned her face towards him and kissed her mouth. She couldn’t help but melt into it. She loved that he wanted her, that he was jealous. Their eyes met.

“It would have been nice to see you try.”

"My Queen, please... I thought You'd like Cobra to join us... but when I heard You with him... and the Dead Thing... in the little bear's bedroom... I lost it."

“Really?”

He turned her in his arms to face him. Her face softened, less hurt. Then she buried her face in his shoulder.

“I’m sorry...”

"I don't like seeing or hearing You with other men. It makes me angry, jealous."

“You never asked me not to be with anyone else.”

She picked up her head and found his eyes again.

“I don’t want you to be with me just because I’m your queen. I allow Jack to be with Heidi, I won’t deny you the same.”

She freed one arm and reached up to touch his cheek.

“But you are my sword, my right hand. You are a part of me. I need you. I can’t live without you. It’s you I want waiting for me when I get home at night, and your arms protecting me when I sleep.”

Hellfire - White King & Queen Quarters

The King loved to sleep in the arms of his Queen. While the two shared a shockingly active and diverse sex life, they shared true intimacy only with each other. Their bedroom was their kingdom, a place for only them, and Cameron's favorite thing in the entire multiverse was simply sleeping in bed with his wife. So when she left particularly early that morning to meet with his mother, he was a bit grumpy. Still in bed, he blinked his eyes as he felt the warm lips of his wife against his, he grabbed for her, but she flexed with her greater strength, batting her eyelashes for a moment and telling him she would meet him in the Great Hall. He just wasn't the same person without morning sex. As Haleigh was no longer in his bed, he had no need to be there, so he headed into the shower and changed something more appropriate as he headed into the living room, grabbing a cup of coffee and settling down into the sofa, casting his mind out across the mansion.

Nothing could be hidden from The White King and his Queen. They knew every keystroke and every thought, and Cameron liked to keep it that way. Sex was powerful but knowledge was the true power of Hellfire. Well that, and what you did with that knowledge. Cameron had placed orbs of astral energy throughout the mansion that acted as his psychic eyes in the mansion. It would be too taxing to enter every mind of the mansion every morning (and time consuming), so he set up his own surveillance system, inspired by his wife. Much like she shifted through security feeds, Cameron flipped through the impressions and thoughts these different orbs contained. He could sense Ashley's irritation at Alek before The White Party. He watched with perversed arousal the sexual encounter between John and Ava, as he came to understand that breakfast would be a little bit more interesting than he anticipated. One thing was for sure, his mother had been all over the mansion. She had ways of negating his abilities and her status as a technomancer left her uniquely qualified to shield herself from Haleigh. Whoever she spoke with and wherever she went in the mansion could not be determined and it drove The White King crazy.

"She's even more obnoxious than when she was Queen."

[pausing]

"Erika..."

The night of The White Party, he had found his mind blocked from his sister. She had developed a PSI Screen, which if Cameron was honest, was a bit catostrophic. The only way Cameron was able to reel his sister in was because of his power allowing him to know her true motivation, the deeper meaning beneath her petty little games. He could subdue her, keep her safe from herself. But now? She was operating without a net, and he was a bit nervous of what she might be capable of. Her PSI Screen meant that not only did he have to worry about her mutant ability, but that she had developed a whole HOST of magickal powers, and Cameron was not the biggest fan of magick users, or at least ones that weren't his mother. He didn't like things he couldn't control. It was why he had killed Morgan Victoria when they were teenagers. But that was another story. His mind tried to locate his sister's room but he could only see white noise. He crinkled his nose and growled.

"These women are starting to get on my nerves."

His mother and his sister thought they could storm into HIS castle and do as they pleased. He would put a stop to that before the weekend's end. This wasn't his mother's empire to run anymore. The King Family's destiny was in his hands, and ultimately, if either Erika or Kelly put him or his wife in danger, he would strike them down, in way's that would make Morgan's death look like child's play, and it had been very bloody. He moved towards The Black Wing, his mind honing in on a rather distraught looking Benjamin Lewis and Ava Cassadine.

"Looks like the Bishop is finally bursting."

Cameron had always liked Ben, but he wasn't a fan of his gentle nature. He had grown up in Hellfire and managed to be it's softest resident. Sometimes it was refreshing but more often than not he had wanted to volunteer to castrate the poor bastard, since it was clear he either didn't know how to use his dick or didn't want, both of which were criminal. He began to listen into the conversation.

Persephone said:
Ben: "Kelly King is a miserable FUCKING bitch..and I'll kill her if it's the last thing I ever do."

Of course this was all because of Kelly King, that woman like a fucking plague on the Black Court. Ever since she was run out it's been her soul mission to sabotage Ava and fuck with anyone within the Black Court. Ava sighed out, pinching the bridge of her nose knowing she had to ask what Kelly did, but really really not wanting to deal with the bullshit the bitch was spreading.

"Fuck...what did she do this time?"

Cameron furrowed his brow.

"So she IS up to something..."

<< CRASH! >>

His mind was jolted from The Black Wing as a set of plates and glasses came crashing off of a serving court moving through his room thanks to a clumsy maid.

"Oh for fuck's sake!"

He eyed the woman up and down, not amused as she stood there terrified.

"Are you going to clean that up or are you just going to STAND there?"

The maid quickly went to work.

"Grrr..I AM grumpy."

He decided that he would figure out his mother's naughty little plans soon enough, and though he was interested in looking in, considering it was the most emotion he had ever seen from Ben, sometimes Cameron liked a little surprise. There was a downside to knowing everything, and he had already spoiled the news of John and Ava for himself. Getting up from the sofa, he spritzed himself with some Versace Pour Homme and slide on his custom made Bulgari Magsonic Sonnerie Tourbillon watch, the gift that Haleigh had given him when he became her White King.

"It's all about timing." she said when she gave it to him. He felt it an appropriate day to wear it. He gave himself a final look in the mirror.

"Goddammit, King. You are one handsome son of a bitch."

As he headed out of his suite, The White King's mind went towards The Red Queen. Ashley was one of the few people in the mansion that MINDED Cameron's mental intrusions and he kept out of her head as a sign of respect. Ashley could take care of herself, there was no question about that. She had lived longer than any of them, but he was worried. She was moving the Red Court in a different direction, which he liked, but the relationship between Alek and Ashley seemed so ready to..break and crumble. Ashley wasn't unprofessional, but she held in a LOT, and over the years, he had seen a time or two where her inability to process her feelings spilled out in deadly and dangerous ways. And most of the time, it was pretty damn amusing and sexy. But this weekend wasn't the time for it. Ashley was a girl who liked to keep her hand in the flame for as long as she could stand it before pulling away, and he wanted to make sure he didn't have anything to worry about this weekend. He would seek her out before the evening's festivities. He hated entering a public forum without Haleigh on his arm, and he was particularly mortified that he was the only King or Queen from the American Branch that had arrived. He might as well have shown up with a dunce cap on, the only leader of a court without a thing to do this morning.

"Time for a cocktail..."

He waved and made pleasantries as he sent a thought call to Ava and Alek.

>> [thought call:] "Alright assholes get down to The Great Hall. I down here by myself. It's embarrassing!"

and then he smiled and whispered in his wife's ear.

"You left without fucking me this morning, my Queen. I plan on tanning your hide as punishment for your atrocities against our court."

Cameron laughed to himself as he played with his wife. He often liked to enter her mind and say whatever dirty thing popped into his head at the most inopportune times, if only to annoy BOTH his wife and mother. He took a spot near the center of the room, turning on the charm and integrating seemlessly into the crowd of people.

Ava’s Room

He held her as they snuggled on the couch before going to breakfast.

"I don't deserve you...But i'm not letting you go."

He smiled.

“I feel the same way about you.”

They shared another smile, but then there was a knocking at the door. It was a servant with a note from Cassandra.

"Are you fucking kidding me?! This is a Black Court hosted event, and it's own princess won't be attending?! How the hell is this going to look? Especially when I make the announcement that you are our new King? [shaking her head] I'm done. DONE with her foolishness!"

He read the note Ava had handed him. It was ridiculous, and a stupid move on the princess’ part. But then Ava had a dagger in her hand, and murder in her eyes. He was up from the couch and after her, putting a hand on her arm to stop her.

“Ava. You can’t go off and kill her right now. You’re needed at the breakfast.”

He came around to face her, and block her exit.

“If you wish it, I will go and make her attend our event. Or help you punish her or even kill her later. But not this minute.”

Hellfire - Great Hall

Cassandra had somehow managed to out drama queen herself faster than Amanda could process and it was beginning to get on The Black Knight's nerves. Everytime Amanda so much as exhaled Cassandra was going through some kind of fresh trauma, and her excuses were wearing thin. Amanda had been taken in under the wing of Talisman as well, only she flourished. Cassandra's problems were not because of Kelly King's twisted little mind games, they were because of her inability to navigate those games, as well as her lack of being able to pick up the slightest of social cues. She truly lived in her own world, so isolated from reality that Amanda was sure there was something twisted and disgusting going on between The Black Princess and her dog. She shuddered at the thought.

"Your Princess is having another psychotic episode, it sounds like. Aren't you glad you are no longer friends with her?

"This bitch."

"Friend or not, White Bishop, we hail from the same court..and I'm the sword of that court. You'd be wise to keep that in mind."

Amanda smirked and flashed her snake eyes at Gia as she took a sip of her mimosa. Gia Nefaria was a spoiled little brat. Her dad had given her everything she had ever wanted, including his empire, and she was pissing it away kicking dogs and digging at The Black Princess when she could have been taking a CONSIDERABLE amount of power for herself. Deep down..Amanda hated that she was not a Queen. These people, Cassandra and Gia, were not her equals. She was ready to rise above, but alas...there was not a fourth court, and she had just fought a bloodwar, she wasn't looking to start one herself. Not yet anyway.

"Tell me Gia..do you need something to do? Did the white court not give you instructions for the day? Or are you really so bored that you felt the only to entertain yourself was to beat a dog in front of potential allies?"

The Black Knight looked at The White Bishop smugly.

[humorously]

"We may eat our own here, but I'm pretty sure we have some PETA members in our ranks."

Hellfire - The Great Hall

Bretta: "How was your night, Daniel? I didn't really get to talk to many people, but I did learn some information."

Daniel watched his current Queen plop a vanilla scone into her mouth like a scag. Bretta came from a very wealthy background, but she was sometimes far too casual for his liking. She was also even tempered and kind, which nearly made his skin crawl. He did not hate her, but she also did not represent a Queen in the way that Daniel respected. The only reason he had yet to swap courts was that he was considering using Bretta in order to become The Red King. She cultivated strong friendships, but the moves she made with these alliances were minimal and mostly social. She would be easy to manipulate. The only downside was he couldn't see himself ruling alongside her, which would mean he would eventually need to take her out, which he was willing to do, but found there to be a lack of drama. Killing a Queen should be an epic and historical event, and if he was ever going to do it, he wasn't going to waste that opportunity on Bretta O'Malley. Still for the time being, he could not be disrespectful to her. She was his Queen.

"My evening was...not particularly earth shattering, but I have made headway with the ABQ. An alliance with Cassadine Industries would be foolish to not consider."

Bretta: "Did I miss anything interesting yet?"

Daniel smirked.

"Well nothing out of the ordinary. Booze. Boobs. Shots. Cocks. Same old, same old.."

[thinking for a moment]

"Tell me...what information did you learn, my Queen?"

He asked with a tinge of guilt in his voice upon calling Bretta his Queen.

LOL @ booze, boobs, shot, cocks
Alek's mouth was on hers hard, Brienne gripping him tightly as she kissed him just as aggressively. Now this was how you start a morning. Alek grinned down at her like a cheshire cat.

Alek: "And midday...and evening...and night..."

"Mmmmm...."

His hand slipped under her ass as his lips went to her neck, Brienne turning her head to the side to allow him more access. She grinned loving his mouth on her. His tongue was a magical thing...maybe she'd keep it as a souvenir when she left.

Alek: "Shit, Brienne, I could fuck you all day."

"And not share me with your other King? So selfish..."

She smirked while dipping her head to capture Alek's mouth once again. He had stamina, more than most men. Maybe this trip wasn't a bust after all.

Alek: "Care to join me for a shower before breakfast?"

Brienne rolled her eyes. Who the fuck made a Hellfire wide function in the morning? Oh, that's right, a fucking Cassadine.

"I'm not the breakfast type."

She deadpanned while sitting up. Slipping out of bed, she stretched like a minx and turned to look over her shoulder, her icy eyes glimmering with mischief. Brienne knew she had to go to the damn breakfast, but still, she enjoyed toying with Alek.

"But if I have to go....taking a shower together would be counter productive."

Brienne walked over to her bedroom door, opening it up wide. Leaning on the frame still very much nude, she grinned as she watched Alek gather his clothing. As he approached her, her eyes moved down the length of his body slowly, drinking him in.

"Save me a seat."

She said simply before pushing herself off the door frame and brushing past Alek, disappearing into her bathroom for a shower. She wasn't a hugger or a 'kiss him goodbye' type. She would see him later, there was no doubt about that. After about twenty minutes, Brienne exited her bathroom now dressed in a black pantsuit with a quick smokey eye and her wavy blonde hair left loose. Taking a hit of coke before grabbing her phone, she sniffed and wiped her nose as she exited her chambers, heading down to the Great Hall. A few people were present, but what the actual fuck. She was late, why the fuck was everyone later than her?

"You."

She pointed to a server walking by.

"Get me a mimosa."

He nodded.

"No juice."

She added, unimpressed with having to A) be up early, B) not get to fuck her morning away, and C) being one of the first to arrive. She was notorious for being fashionably late. Fuck Americans. The server came back over with her flute of champagne, Brienne downing half of it as she made her way to an empty corner and got on her phone, annoyed. This shit better start soon.

John: “I feel the same way about you.”

Ava looked up into his dark eyes, her smile widening. She was fully prepared to enjoy a pre-breakfast make out session to get the fires burning, then have a little fun at breakfast knowing they were so close to each other but couldn't fuck. The build up of sexual tension always a good lead in to amazing fucking. But alas someone else was knocking on her door. This time it was a aid there to deliver a note to Ava from Cassandra. Apparently the White Bishop attacked Cassandra's dog and she was excusing herself from breakfast so she wouldn't 'paint the walls with her blood'. It was infuriating. Cassandra wasn't of sane mind, Kelly having done a bang up job making her into the Hellfire Club's version of Harley Quinn. But what pissed Ava off even more was the fact that this breakfast was Black Court business and she couldn't put her bullshit aside long enough to show up like the doting princess she was appointed to be. Was Ava pissed at the White Bishop? Absolutely. And once breakfast was through, she would certainly be having some one on one time wih Ms Nafaria. But until then, Ava was furious. Paint the walls with blood? Oh, she was about to paint the entire Black Wing RED.

Ava slipped her Mystic Dagger from her thigh holster, storming toward her chamber room door fully prepared to slice Cassandra from neck to groin. But John was on her in seconds, grabbing her arm before she could open the door.

John: “Ava. You can’t go off and kill her right now. You’re needed at the breakfast.”

"It'll only take a second."

Ava went for the door again but John cut her off this time, moving in front of her. She huffed out with annoyance, giving him an equally annoyed look.

John: “If you wish it, I will go and make her attend our event. Or help you punish her or even kill her later. But not this minute.”

The annoyed expression gave way to mild disappointment at not getting to cut Cassandra in half. But John was right. She needed to go to the breakfast, but so did he. She shook her head.

"Fine. We'll deal with her later...."

Ava lifting her skirt just enough to holster her dagger. It was then she heard Cameron's voice echoing in her head.

Cameron: "Alright assholes get down to The Great Hall. I down here by myself. It's embarrassing!"

>>"A little humility would do you good, King."

Ava responded back teasingly.

>>"I'm on my way."

Running her hands down her leather pencil skirt, she let out a slow, calming breath before looking up at John.

"Alright, i'm as calm as I can be. Lets do this."

Taking his hand, she linked her fingers with Johns as they exited her suite and headed down to the Great Hall. Walking down the main hallway, she could hear the voices of numerous people talking as they approached the Hall. Ava slid her hand from John's, instead now linking her arm with his as they used to do before as Rook and Queen. Looking up at him, she gave him a small kiss knowing that this would be the last time they would have to play 'professional' until the annonucement.

"Ready?"

It will just take a minute!
Ava’s Rooms

Ava wanted to kill the Black Princess. That was nothing new. But now it looked like she was actually going to do it. He tried to stop her, telling her she was needed at their breakfast.

"It'll only take a second."

He stood in front of her this time. This weekend was the reason Cassandra hadn’t already been punished for her recent fuck ups. An unpremeditated execution before breakfast would only make their court look a mess. Ava was annoyed at him, but he promised to help her, but not right now. Right now, he would go get Cassandra and make sure she was at the breakfast, if she wanted.

"Fine. We'll deal with her later...."

“We will. I promise.”

"Alright, i'm as calm as I can be. Lets do this."

He smiled when she took his hand. They left the room and walked hand in hand to breakfast. When they neared, Ava let go of his hand and took his arm instead. She leaned up to give him a small kiss.

He smiled warmly at her and nodded. Then he led her into the room and to her table. They were still waiting for others so he ordered an orange juice and sat next to Ava. He looked around him. Everything was about to change.

Brienne’s Room

He had just had the best sex of his life, and that was saying something. Despite all the crazy things he’d heard about her, she was incredibly intriguing to him. He told he he could fuck her all day.

"And not share me with your other King? So selfish..."

“Fuckin’ aye. I don’t like to share. And you wouldn’t like him anyway.”

They kissed heatedly again, and Alek offered to shower together.

"I'm not the breakfast type. But if I have to go....taking a shower together would be counter productive."

“That was sort of the point.”

He grinned at her, watching her slip out of bed. When she turned back to look at him that smile filled with lust. He started looking around for his clothes. He threw them over his arm and made for the door she was holding open. He looked over her body onc more as he went through the door and headed back to his own room.

He ditched his clothes on a chair for the maid to launder, and headed into the bedroom to go to the shower. On the way he noticed that the sheets were rumpled. He picked up his ipad and called up the security feed from the past night.

“Fuckin’ hell.”

Some kind of alliance had certainly been made last night. He continued into the shower and dressed again, making his was down to breakfast. And he would be sure to discuss this with Ashley. But for now, he was keeping his eyes open for Brienne.

The Hellfire Club - - The Old War Room

Kelly: It is a little drab in here...

She said, before sprucing the place up, and then asking Haleigh if it was better and encouraging her to sit again.

“Like fuckin’ Fantasia. Next thing we know the brooms’ll be carrying buckets of water.”

She commented slyly. Sometimes she just liked to see if people could handle a little ribbing. She mentally pulled a wooden chair by the screws to the head of the table and sat down with a smirk, daring Kelly to comment.

Kelly: The weekend so far has been a success..You and Cameron have made an impact on European Court, and you didn't even need to fuck any of them to do it. Nicely done...last night anyway.

Haleigh laughed.

“Well, at least half of them got fucked, that’s for sure. I saw no legitimate reason that I needed to do the dirty work with regards to that.”

Kelly: The White Court is experiencing a revitalization, and I'm pleased to see it. The Black Court could only reign for so long after my departure I guess. Especially after you took my Black Prince..

“That’s funny. I didn’t think the Black Court ever ‘reigned’. My mother always told me the White Court controlled Hellfire. Must be why your Prince wanted to change his colors.”

Kelly: I must admit, I was delighted to see you extending the olive branch to the EHC. The dust has settled on your rebellion and it's time to create new alliances before one of the courts attempts to take the lead. It gives me hope that you might be putting your foot in the race...

“Well yes. I wanted to allow everyone the opportunity to get settled in their new positions. But that doesn’t mean I want stagnation. The time has come for growth and conquest.”

Kelly: I've heard things around the office...as I often do. You intend to take Hellfire global. The adventurer in me is stirred. I'd like to know, as a world renowned diabolical genius and mad scientist, what do you mean when say you'd like to take Hellfire global?

Cameron: You left without fucking me this morning, my Queen. I plan on tanning your hide as punishment for your atrocities against our court.

Haleigh’s eyes closed for a moment, as she tried to keep a straight face by biting her bottom lip.

You know it’s really AWKWARD when you turn me on in front of your mother.

She thought back, and then looked to find Kelly staring at her expectantly.

“I’m sorry, My King was whispering sweet nothings in my ear. You were saying?”

Kelly: What does my daughter in law envision for the future of Hellfire? There is no court division between us any longer, Haleigh. You are my family. And our dynasty is my only concern. Please, speak freely.

Haleigh took a moment to assess the risks of telling Kelly her plans. It would give the former Black Queen a chance to undermine them, if she wanted. But then, it would be incredibly foolish of Kelly to sabotage the success of Hellfire. Not just because Cameron would likely kill her, but because it would tarnish her own legacy, and Haleigh knew for a fact that Kelly was very concerned with her legacy.

“I’m going to survive for an incredibly long time, Mom, you know that. I won’t be satisfied with just one city under our control. I already have my Rook expanding his influence at the U.N. To give us more clout with nations abroad. When I say I want us to go global, I mean just that.”

She reclined back in her seat casually, with a confident smile.

“It’s not enough that we have a sister branch in Europe. We will take the Europeans under our wing. They will be beholden to us, or they will all be replaced by people who are. People like my dear Rook, who could be a European King, if we find one of the regent men there needs to cease existing. All Inner Circle members who have served with distinction and loyalty will eventually be rewarded for their efforts.”

She was relaxing into his kiss, but She still made it known that She was disappointed he hadn’t at least tried to stop Her last night. He wasn’t too proud to plead with Her. He admitted that knowing what She was doing with the EWC had sent him over the edge.

Ash: Really? I’m sorry.

He hugged Her tightly, and confessed something he should have said already; that he was jealous when he knew She was with someone else. It saddened him that She didn’t expect him to feel that way, but then, Her own King didn’t value Her, so it wasn’t all that surprising if She didn’t expect anyone else to. If Savage thought he could get away with killing Alek, he would have done it already. But there were consequences to killing regents, and the current regime was a tightly knit pack.

Ash: You never asked me not to be with anyone else.

“It’s a King’s right to ask that of his Queen, not a Knight’s.

He replied somberly.

Ash: I don’t want you to be with me just because I’m your queen. I allow Jack to be with Heidi, I won’t deny you the same.

“My Queen, I don’t want anyone but You. Who else could compare to my Valkyrie? None.”

He replied, his hand cupping Her chin. She touched his face, and it felt good, comforting, after his offense to Her, that she wasn’t slapping him down.

Ash: But you are my sword, my right hand. You are a part of me. I need you. I can’t live without you. It’s you I want waiting for me when I get home at night, and your arms protecting me when I sleep.

She said, and he pressed his forehead to Hers. It was nice to be needed, especially by Her.

“If that’s what You ask of me, that’s what You’ll have. But please, warn me the next time You have.... business.... so I can have Jack stand watch instead for a couple of hours. Otherwise I might destroy more than just my door.”

They entered the Great Hall together, Ava's midnight eyes scanning the room and noting that not everyone had arrived yet. They were still missing all of the Red Court and a few White, more notably Haleigh. Not to mention Ben, whom she hoped had pulled himself together so she wouldn't be missing half of her court when she made the announcement that John was now King. Thank God for Amanda. Always primed and ready no matter what - this was why she should be Princess. Ava took a seat at her table, John sitting next to her. Ordering a latte, she glanced over at Cameron and smirked.

>>"Don't ruin it asshole. I know you know."

Ava's tone was playful as it always was with Cameron. He always gave her shit about John and she could see the 'I told you so' emitting from him radioactively. Her hand slid under the table and onto John's thigh, gently rubbing it reassuringly as they waited.

>>"We need to talk about your Bishop when we're finished here. While I despise Cassandra, Gia did intentionally make an attack against her. I won't let that slide, Cam."

Ava's eyes scanned the room, still no Ben in sight.

>>"We have other matters to discuss as well..."

Her line of sight fell back onto Cameron, giving him a knowing look. She was fully aware he knew everything that happened within the walls of Hellfire. While Ashley didn't particularly enjoy him in her head, Ava really didn't care. She had nothing to hide, and she spoke what was on her mind.

Looking now to Amanda, she was a few seats away sitting with Gia. It was apparent on her Knight's face that she was just as displeased with the White Bishop as Ava was.

"Ben should be here momentarily, Amanda. While Cassandra has been excused from the event."

Her eyes shifted to Gia, narrowing into a deathly glare. It may have been common knowledge that Ava disliked her princess, but that didn't mean the other courts could out right make a move against her without Ava intervening. AVA had the right to beat down Cassandra, NO ONE else. She gripped John's leg trying to ease herself before calmly looking back at Amanda. She smiled.

"I trust you had an entertaining evening last night?"

She couldn’t resist him, when he kissed her, when he held her against him. Even if she was losing him, she couldn’t push him away. He told her how jealous and angry he got seeing her with anyone else. But he hadn’t ever asked her to only sleep with him.

“It’s a King’s right to ask that of his Queen, not a Knight’s.

“Can’t I decide whose right it is?”

She rested her head on his chest.

“But I also worry. That if Alek knew I was only with you, that he would do something to you, to punish me.”

She told him he was under obligation no to her just because she was his Queen.

He replied somberly.

“My Queen, I don’t want anyone but You. Who else could compare to my Valkyrie? None.”

He cupped her chin, and reached up to touch his face. She looked into his eyes, finally giving him a small smile. She told him he was the one she wanted. He pressed his forehead against hers.

“If that’s what You ask of me, that’s what You’ll have. But please, warn me the next time You have.... business.... so I can have Jack stand watch instead for a couple of hours. Otherwise I might destroy more than just my door.”

She glanced at the destroyed door, then leaned up to kiss him. But there was something in that answer.

“I don’t want you to be with me because I asked, I want you to want to. Do you? Really?”

She slid both arms around his neck, looking up at him shyly.

“Because I could try not to have business with anyone else. I’ll always have to flirt, but I could try. Some things in my life I cannot control, AJ. But no matter what happens, you are the one I want to be with. The only one.”

Her expression turned coy.

“Maybe you should mark your territory so Juliette knows I’m taken.”

Hellfire - Attic Floor

Haleigh: "I'm sorry, My King was whispering sweet nothings into my ear. You were saying?"

Kelly arched her eyebrow and rolled her eyes briefly.

"I should be surprised that I raised such a little pervert..but I guess I can't be."

Haleigh: "I'm going to survive for an incredibly long time, Mom, you know that. I won't be satisfied with just one city under our control. I already have my Rook expanding his influence at the U.N. to give us more clout with nations abroad. When I say I want us to go global, I mean just that."

The idea of turning Hellfire into an empire was exciting for Kelly, but expansion for expansion's sake wasn't enough for Kelly. The former black queen leaned in as Haleigh continued to speak, her leg bouncing up and down delicately.

Haleigh: "It's not enough that we have a sister branch in Europe. We will take the Europeans under our wing. They will be beholden to us, or they will all be replaced by people who are. People like my dear Rook, who could be a European King, if we find one of the regent men there needs to cease existing. All Inner Circle members who have served with distinction and loyalty will eventually be reward for their efforts."

The King matriarch looked at The White Queen, amused. She was so smug and self assured. But that came with the territory of being Queen, so Kelly let it slide. Still, to see a member of The Inner Circle with such an enterprising idea gave Kelly hope that they would not repeat the history of the European branch, and become a social club. She lifted her glass towards Haleigh, her black manicured nails wrapped around the stem.

"Well then..to Hellfire Incorporated."

She took a celebratory sip before setting the glass down on the table.

"I do wonder, Haleigh..if there is room for me in the grand scheme of things..."

That one hurt to say. Asking her daughter in law to make room for her as if she were some kind of relic of the past, but that had been her own fault. She should have taken out Haleigh Davidoff when she had the chance. She could have destroyed Dr. Victory's little test tube and never had to worry. But the past was the past, and she had been able to navigate around Haleigh, until Cameron and Haleigh were married. He loved Haleigh more than he loved Kelly, and after all the work Talisman had put into her son, it was a very bitter feeling. But this was the reality..she WAS a relic of sorts, and Kelly knew that the road towards a new life ran right through The White Queen.

"You and I both know that I am the only one capable of continuing the kind of work required for you take hold of the world with vicious glory. I may be old Haleigh, but not all that glitters is gold...I'm twenty four karat."

[sighing loudly]

"Hellfire was initially born as a way to expand the influence of MysTech. We all craved power, but knew that power without purpose was fleeting. It was supposed to be the ultimate blend of magick and science, carefully crafted to advance a new world order with us at the helm. We could no longer live in a world ran by flatscans..not when we could do what we could do. I mean..MysTech is responsible for your very existence...and I believe it's important that we honor that..."

She took a moment to look at her surroundings, feeling a bit nostalgic.

"Hellfire may be yours..but MysTech rightfully belongs to me. Christopher may have developed the virus, but it was *I* who perfected it. But somewhere along the way, MysTech became a shell of a company, that essentially operated as a means for us to torture those around us..which was a lot of fun.."

Kelly reflected for a moment.

"But ultimately, I don't believe we reached the pinnacle of what inspired us to create Hellfire in the first place. And now, as an old woman, albeit an incredibly attractive, firm, taut and supple woman, I find myself compelled to take MysTech from second base to the home plate."

Kelly finished her glass of hemlock as it was refilled magickally in an instant as she looked at Haleigh with her signature smulder and ice.

"I want MysTech, Haleigh. I deserve it."

[smirking]

"But should you not think so...I can make it worth your while, Haleigh. MysTech is part of the King dynasty, and every dynasty...should have an heir..."

Hellfire - Great Hall

Upon noticing the arrival of her Queen, Amanda all but ignored Gia. The conversation was like a snake swallowing a mouse anyway. She took her set a few spaces a way from The White Bishop to keep an eye on her as Ava and John took their seats next to each other.

Ava: "Ben should be here, momentarily, Amanda. While Cassandra has been excused from the event."

[in parsel tongue]: "Can she be excused from every event?"

This was insufferable. She knew that Ava couldn't simply just strike Cassandra down with these visitors. Well she COULD..and probably wanted to. But she was doing her best to keep things calm in front of company. But it was clear her patience was wearing thin.

The Black Knight gave her a cheer and took a swig of her mimosa, relaxing a bit now that she could see Ava in the flesh, knowing she was okay, and nothing bad had happened to her. She was still a bit embarrassed that she shirked her duties to make sweaty wolf love to The Red Knight, and she could tell from John's face that he might have been a little agitated as well.

Ava: "I trust you had an entertaining evening last night?"

Amanda smirked for a moment as she recalled AJ's strong body on top of her, his rage fueling his passion as he fucked his pain away. It had been wild and just what Amanda had needed.

"I am sorry to have left you to your own devices last night, my Queen. It will not happen again. That being said, I found myself working on something very pressing with The Red Knight, which explains his absence. Limping to the Great Hall from the Red Wing can't be easy."

The Black Knight laughed as she eyed Ava up and down. The women of the Black Court were known for their incredible deadly beauty, but Ava was looking especially good today.

"Whatever you got into last night has done wonders for your skin. You're glowing..."

Hellfire - Great Hall

He took a few moments. And he needed more moments. A whole lot of fucking moments. But he didn't have them. Right now, he needed to put on a brave face and represent his court with respect. Ava was not Kelly King, and Ben would be sure to let Talisman know that until the end of time. If she wanted to fuck with him and The Black Court, she would get more than she bargainned for. Kelly was a confident woman, but she was also a jealous woman. Ben would make sure the former black queen knew where his loyalty lied.

As he looked in the mirror, despite feeling like the world had just crashed down around him, there was a sense of freedom and relief. The things that held him back for so long were no longer there. For years he had believed that there was a sense of power the others had that he could not claim, that didn't belong to him. He realized now, that it was a self fullfilling prophecy. The legacy children of Hellfire had claimed their power, and perhaps it was time for him to do the same. He changed into a simple black casual suit, his jacket barely fitting over his muscles as he gave himself the once over, suddenly caring about how he looked.

In a few moments he was in The Great Hall, relieved to see he was not the last to arrive from his court, but worried. He had just ripped Cassandra a new one, and now she was absent. If she didn't show up today, it would look incredibly bad for the Black Court, and Ben would feel responsible. He made his way over to the black table, taking a seat next to Amanda.

"Black Knight. You look lovely..."

He gave her a kiss on the cheek as he nodded towards Ava.

"My Queen. Good Morning."

The world didn't need to know what he had went through this morning. It was between Ava and himself right now, and he trusted she would help guide him through this. He winked at John and gave a smile.

"Lookin' fresh, Johnny. Like a regular Kensington bastard."

Ben didn't do mimosas, but he was still hungover as fuck, despite his physiology. He was relieved to find a particularly spicy Bloody Mary on the table as he pulled the celery stick out and gave it a prompt lick before setting it down next to him, taking a long gulp.

"I trust our Black Princess is on her way? I hope so. I'm positively famished."
