The Range
She stole glances at Zach, watching him draw his gun like a cowboy as he practiced. She'd like to draw something else from his holster. She waited for Zach to be between clips, and walked past his lane so he could be sure to have a good view of her in her tight leather pants. There were a couple of guys still in the range, not leaving - she would give Danny hell for that on the way out. She scrunched up her face into a grimace as she went by, nearly growling at them, her eyes narrow and cold. She made sure on the way back to carry the assault rifle like she knew how to use it and might turn it on them any second.
Since they were at the range, she refrained from smacking Zach's ass on her way back to her lane, but she really wanted to do it. He was just exuding testosterone and it had her hot and bothered already. She put her tension into her shooting, loving the feel of the FN in her hands. The semi-automatic weapon was really a marvel of engineering, when you thought about it. When she thought back to what the first long range firearms were like, let alone the first hand held ones - things had come a long way.
Zach was talking to those fucktards now, smiling and shaking their hands - ever the diplomat. But she noticed they couldn't leave fast enough, which brought a smile to her lips. Her man always came through.
She went back to her target, until she heard Zach calling her name loudly over the gunfire. She turned with her eyebrows raised, wondering what he could want. But hoping it was the same thing she wanted.
She nodded happily - this way she could just stand and watch him fire the shotgun, and not even have to pretend to be doing something else. He raised the gun to his shoulder like a pro - he really was an excellent shot, despite the ribbing she had given him when they'd first talked about coming here. She bit her bottom lip, holding the orange disc at the ready.
She let it fly, and he fired...and missed. She looked at him sympathetically.
"You'll get the next one babe!" she shouted.
He shouted again, and she tossed the target into the air and he fired, hitting the pigeon dead center. She clapped her hands, retrieving another target from the box and throwing them again and again, watching him nail them. She laughed as the last one clattered to the ground, the chamber empty. He handed the gun to her.
She grinned, taking it from him and turning it over so she could open the magazine door, then carefully loading the shells in from the box Zach held. When she was done, she turned it over and pulled the bolt back. She kept the pump action mode on because there really was nothing like the feeling when you pulled back the pump and it makes that wonderful sound. She raised it, her eye to the sight, and yelled pull. After a beat she fired, the target shattering satisfactorily. She worked her way through the rest of the shells, then lowered the shotgun, flicking on the safety, and handing it back to Zach, sliding her free arm around his neck and pressing her body against his as she did so.
"So, had enough? Or we could go shoot things in the fake building. Or stay here? Whatever you want."
She looked up into his eyes adoringly, just happy to be doing anything with him.

"Hey, it's time for the Spas 12. I'll throw for you if you'll throw for me!"
