Blaze's green eyes continued to stay focused on Nicolas, who had taken to the skies. Her eyes blazing with a bit of fire to them. Haleigh's gloved hand snapped her focus to the blonde, turning to meet eyes. Blaze perked a brow but she argued her own point.
"Haleigh, this is my sister. I...we just got her back from the clutches of death. Its normal for any sibling to react this way and like Karen I WILL see to her protection and safety. Karen is not here, thus I am a sort of sisterly substation. Morgan has just gotten back into action, she's not ready for any sort of decadence the two share or a future relationship. Nicolas is not a bad guy but he is not for her. Morgan is in a class all her own, as is Nicolas. She is my flesh and blood."
Blaze's tone revealing a bit of caring sincerity about it, one that Haleigh would know and appreciate. Turning to peer up at the sky, Blaze's mind filled once more with Nicolas' soothing masculine tone.
"Hales, turn down the tech now!"
She nodded to her friend, preparing for battle. Spellbinder teleporting the team inside the dome that Rampage plowed through, a most impressive move indeed. Pitch darkness greeting them but Blaze's eyes flickering into that eerie yellow tint with her infrared allowing her to see the heat signatures around them while Morningstar sheded some light on the subject (no pun intended).
The odor of the other creatures were a quick inkling to what lay ahead. Morgan pointed her index finger across the room to spy an army of deathwings and other creatures coming for them. Blaze could hear the malice in her sister's voice that almost encouraged her into battle. She was grateful to have Spell on their side.
Foxfire's form blasting in a frenzied form of flames that sent her rocketing off into the air. Her vibrant yellow eyes glowing with life. "Come and get me!" She taunted with a smirk, her flaming form zig zagging into the air to confuse and daze those attacking her.
Gliding through the air, Foxfire connects a powerful punch into the skull of one of the deathwings nearby, sending it into a downward spin to the ground with a sickening thud. Other Dire Wraiths surround her and attempt to enchant the technology around her. Laser cannons spring to life as blasts of yellow fire zoom toward her.
Springing into action Foxfire glides upwards towards the ceiling of the dome on purpose. The automatic cannons move to follow, the head of the laser firing hot blasts of around 800 degrees at the mutant. Blaze was positioning the laser on purpose.
"Over hereeeee."
She said sarcastically. Her flames propelling her further into the air at a high velocity speed that seemed to be a blur of flames. Spiraling around to avoid the laser, which she just BARELY escaped as the laser collided above, hitting a few pieces of the "dome." The debris falling haphazardly towards the centered laser. Foxfire moved around as the debris came topple down on the device. Reaching out a palm, Blaze fired a highly charged electrical flame across the debris. A collision impacting the laser, amplifying the temperature before it was blown up from the extreme heat. Fox knew most lasers required a "cooling system" based on hydrogen peroxide and a variously of liquids.
"Yeah!" She raised a fist in the air when her senses began to take effect. Blaze's sense of equilibrium felt disorientated. Her gliding body shook as she felt the walls around her spinning. Raising her hands to her head to snap out of it, Foxfire's flaming form began to nose dive toward the ground around 120 mph speeds. Her form spinning wildly out of control, the Dire Wraiths were succeeding in their attempt to subdue her. One problem solved, another arisen.
