it looks fine :) since they wont know which abilities she primarily uses or how they use them. just that they shouldnt be able to track her moves to a pinpoint or read her thoughts.

its just like when psylocke tried to read malice (the psychic entitiy) or rachel tried to read selene's mind...there's "something" t here but its impossible to read it completely.
 
Well, Effy can only go by what's in her DNA, so she should know what the mutations are but like you said, not how she uses them.

Hey! FYI I am taking a mini trip to Nevada for the weekend, I leave tomorrow after work and I will be there through sunday so I will most likely not be on the boards at all.
 
Sorry, I'm working a job today and Saturday, so I wasn't on tonight. If you haven't moved us on (haven't read yet) I'll do so.
 
Okay I posted a little with Effy and Watchtower. I'm sorry they aren't the longest of posts, but I have to be up for work again in 4 hours lol.

girl i was out with some girlfriends tonight at a comedy club (Zannies in Nashville) we were three of like 8 white people in a predominantly black audience. the comedian was Don DC Curry. Ill be posting now (my sleep cycle is all off balance now)
 
The post is fine. I tried to provide a small distraction because I did not read in OOC that they had an actual chance here, lol. If you guys HATE it...I will edit it, but I figured it would be a kinda cool thing to have Shade get an itty bitty mark to remember us by. While she heals her eyes, we can do whatever.

Though not really. Rich and the crew's ass is still whipped. SOUNDLY. But it is always spicier when the prey gets a lick in. Wouldn't want Shade's (or yours Jill) head to get any bigger than it already is.

Brandon asked me to play the villainess and make her a KILLER so that's what i'm trying to do.

but as vil and lexi know i've expressed my concerns that its not going over so well.

Shade is directly inspired by Selene (Marvel's Black Queen) and Invisible Woman.

Funny lady is funny...

I like Shade OK...I think her addition is just such a shift from the kidsy thing going. It's like putting "CSI" on "the OC". It darkens the mood by necessity.

But it makes the point that even as special as these kids are...combined at this point they would be barely a match for even one member of the Six. Probably needed to be done.

I'll post soon and give you more work to do hon...
 
well thanks for that feedback. Lexi and Vil both had positive responses as well and having worked with them for so long, i KNOW they'd tell me if I was doing a terrible job or if the character wasnt what she should be lol! and im sure you would too.

its also a RARE experience for me to be involved in a story that i'm not running/directing. so i'm litterally waiting for cues. Not since the Kelly King story or the original introduction of Helena Quartermaine in the Six have i been in a story where I wasnt the Mastrix.
