Actually, you know, I felt the same way, and I was considering taking the tiger out completely. Doesn't fit, :p and, makes it quite wide. :p

i will definately avail myself to this party.........but ill need a special banner for it.

i mentioned earlier in this thread the particulars for it......but i dont think anyone whipped anything up for me yet .......


riana and lex, your banners rock. Riana's appeals to me because it has a icy glamour to it......could you try whipping something up for me?

i like the colour and fonts used in Lex's its got a very epic/myth feel to it.

I still haven't decided on a costume but I will keep on looking.. it has to be something stylish and revealing.. not to sexy but yet mouth watering.. hmmmz what to wear

I was wondering are the MoL's informed about this and what did they say? cause both covens should be really involved in this to have the maximum amount of fun :redwink:
 
They are. We've been discussing the idea in the joint leader's forum, running ideas over each other. I'm gonna copy and paste to show you what we've come up with as far as the Blaze make-over. :) Tell me whatcha think.

I've got a couple of ideas for the Blaze thread description for the upcoming Party, since its related to Halloween perhaps we could somehow manipulate the club into Dracula's castle, make it really mysterious but at the same time festive.

We could have brightly lit candles, old cob webs in each corner, blood red and black coloring with perhaps bats. There would be two large wrap around stair cases, an old chandelier hanging in the middle of the dance floor which can transfer colors with the rhythm of the songs. I was thinking of having a live band being played perhaps Evanescence would be cool.

On the large brass door a thick gray Gargoyle knocker caught the attention of the naked eye. Plush leather couches around the castle, to the adjacent room were filled with snacks, etc., and the bar area. Perhaps a large sleek black panther roamed the castle for watchful eye purposes wearing a sparkling diamond studded collar.

The outside was surrounded by a thickly dense forest, the howl of wolves could be heard and even seen. Old witches cackled in the background performing hexing spells on nearby visitors or such. A black hearse was parked in the back of the old castle lined with tinted windows, no one was able to access this for more panthers roamed and even a hell hound.

Back inside the floors were made of black marble, often making a clicking sound from various boots. A feeling of empowerment and history was felt here, coffins were lined in the back room, reading in thick blood red bold letters (lol I haven't come up with that)

Oh and as you head into the castle a large butler reviews your on the list, he's gotta be big and creepy, one of Drac's henchman. If your on the list which everyone will be, they are allowed to go in. I figured this would be for added affect.

Okay this is a quick bunch of ideas thrown together, I plan on correcting and revamping. But what do you guys think?

Perhaps we have our menu list, that includes 'finger snacks' , blood red punch, a head-shaped jelly in the punch as well, those kind, or sugar webs, something like that

And for the haunted castle effect, we can add a large (really large) potrait of the former owner of the castle, a wicked, slouched man, with eyes that seem to glow red whenever you just stare at it.. Woah!

Ok, I've got a Egyptian one, I'll work on the Greek and Roman in bit... but first, should it have the same concept of this one, like, the picture thing, or should it be different? You'll see what I mean:

As you step past the butler and into the dark interior of the foyer in the castle... the door slams shut behind you, and suddenly, you look to your left, where torches are spontaneously lighting along the wall... two large statues of what are quite obviously the Egyptian Gods Osiris and Anubis loom above you, standing on either side of what appears to be an enormous picture mounted on the wall... the picture is huge, stretching all the way up the wall... but it is not the size that attracts you... it is the quality... within the picture is the intricate details of an ancient egyptian ballroom... hieroglyphics adorn the walls, many pictures and prophecies brightly colored and magnificently done... in the center of the picture, there is a large dance floor, black marble floors lined and decorated with various designs of pure gold.... in the background, there is a bar... made completely of gold, the pricey and beautiful metal of Egyptian choice... a bartender is depicted, his dark buff figure barechested and almost sparkling in the lighting as he pours a drink for a customer... the large portrait is mysterious... and strangely, seems to beckon you towards it.... everything looks so real and life-like... you tell yourself it is only a painting... but your curiousity gets the best of you... and you feel you MUST touch it to be sure... outstretching your hand, your fingers graze the surface of the painting... and suddenly... your entire arm disappears into the painting... you feel a force pulling you into the painting.... and you jerk your arm back, staring at the painting with wide eyes.... once you are sure your arm is still intact... you reach out to the portrait once more, you can swear it's calling you into it... before you touch it again, however... something behind you seems to whisper your name, and you turn around.... on the other side of the foyer is....[greek and roman layout here]

Okay, so like I asked at the beginning of the last quote, should the Roman/Greek thing be the same or different? I'm thinking of going kinda different.... but kinda the same... what do you think?
 
Hun I love this idea, the whole atmosphere breaths such mysterie I love love love it (yes I'm loving it)

I think the Greek / Roman thing should indeed be different but at the same time alike since they are that.. most Gods known in both myths are simular just under different names and they are from the same area in time so yeah good idea ;)

I've also made myself another banner I think this one is more mysterious and fitting then the one I had earlier :redwink:

Further more.. should we open a thread for dates.. on the last party I organized on EB we had a dating service for single people it was a huge sucses could be one over here as well, we could even hook up people from the 2 sides ;)

We could also have a custome shop for people who don't know what to wear... I would love to run it, just some ideas I have right now..
