Let's face it.... we aren't going to be capable of pulling off a coven-wide party if we don't PLAN it first :p So here's the thread for it. BRAINSTORM! :D I suggested a Halloween Party type theme.... ya'll know, be fun to have a costume contest and all that jazz. Any OTHER themes? or just ideas? Or brilliant schemes? Come on guys, gimme some feed back : grinyes
 
OOo we talked about this in the past, I love this idea of a Halloween Bash :D

We could have like a dance... but people would have to dress up in a surten theme.. maybe a time area, and we could have a date service for people so they could come in couple ;)

I once did this for a prom organised on Elemental Boards, I ran the Dress and Tux shop and it was a big hit :D

I have plenty of ideas maybe we could talk about some of them on msn or yahoo soon i'd love to brainstorm

i think a cross coven party is an excellent idea.

obviously it will be in blaze.

we need a theme and here are some ideas that I have:

"Gods and Monsters": celebration of the ages

"Glamour & Excess"

.........FRACK! thats all i could come up with LOL

i DEFINATELY think costumes are in order. all members who come MUST come in costume. and we need a way to promote this party.......the staff needs to wear banners and/or buttons in their sigs that have the theme of the party and some glamourous images of celebration to promote it.

How about a myth thing? Greek mythologie has some great Gods, I'd be more then happy to help the members out picking one cause like I mentioned in other threads I'm a bit of a Myth geek ;)
 
i know something about greek mythology and roman mythology.........i used to be majorly into it back in my younger days because of a movie i saw called "clash of the titans" ..........Medusa was my favourite character in that movie.

i would love to have some halloween themed avatars made up just for the occasion.........BUT I dont think Kris has the time or the space to do that for us.

we COULD encourage members to create banners that indicate their character's costume or something like that...and the most creative costume wins a prize.....like a gift certficate to the GoW items shop or bonus gil.

Sounds great, well there are so many species in the Greek and Roman myth's people could pic one of them.

on the banner idea, a contest sounds great, we could have the members design them.. or if you guys like I could design something myself for us to promote it.. let me look into that, like I said I have plenty of ideas and I've done something like this before, we would also need to arange music and something like a band.. we could hold auditions and have a real on stage live music thingie :)
 
perhaps you could make a banner for each staff member........that way it would reflect them personally and include the same promotion message.

for ME, id like a banner with a sexy picture of shannen doherty (preferably one of her charmed promo shots)

the banner should have a violet background and then we just need to think of our promotion theme

im tied between "gods and monsters": a celebration of the ages OR "Monsters Ball": a decadent celebration coming soon

and each staff member can have a banner that fits them..also bearing the theme. a nice stylish font is needed for the text

Ok, LOVE the Greek/ Roman mythology.... :D Perhaps we could widen it for more creativity, say, Ancient Egyptian goodies, and the like? Mythology in general? Legends too?

Musical guests: hmm... now... we'd need someone versatile... with music that sets a tone for Halloween...

lol, :p Don't mind me... I'm torn too, I REALLY liked "Gods and Monster's" I think Monster's Ball pertains more to our side... nevermind that WE are the dominating side... I think that GoLs might have problems with that title, lol. :confused:

I've too also adore this idea, it fits perfectly with the change of season. I also love the banner idea, the two will be perfect. Maybe Dan could make up the banners if your not too busy hon ;)

I'd like to see members rewarded for best costume, that would be great.

At the moment I don't have any ideas lol I don't have the energy yet lol but I'll be thinking more about it today. :)
 
Ok, so, we are tacking the theme on Greek, Roman, Ancient Egyptian Mythology; Mythology in General, and Legends. Correct?

And the title will be? "Monster's Ball" or "Gods and Monsters" Somehow... I feel we got rid of the title "Glamour and Excess" too quickly. :p

Let's have a vote everyone, between the three. :D
 
Well I for one love the myth's but that is no secret.. so my vote goes to that one *nods*
 
even though i like Glamour and Excess (as i DID come up with it)

i think "Gods and Monsters" would be most suitable.
 
I like the idea of the banner competition....which member can come up with the most creative costume thing!
 
Dan, maybe we could work on something since you and I are both known for being a bit banner crazed ;) any sugestions cause you know I'd be more then happy to help out.

So sofar all the votes go to "Gods and Monsters" great let the brainstroming begin :D

So we're down for Mythology, Legends, and all that jazz. :D

:D I got a creative burst last night, and rough-drafted a banner. :D you guys take a look-see.... it has a preview of muh costume choice... :firedevil

And it has the title and a promoting little slogan :D

I love it hun, the whole Egyptian theme is very suiting ;)

It's a bit wide if you ask me but other then that it looks great, I will start working on something soon.. I have a few ideas going more for the acient greek or roman myths myself I think I know just what to do :D

OO and hun sexay custome *grins* if I remember correctly from the movie "The Mumy" that was body paint right? ;)
