Pain in Paradise 2

:: Flying backwards he smashed into a tree hard but became intangible just in the nick of time as he passed through the rest of the trees, his head was ringing in pain but he forced himself to get up, seeing how he coldent help Kara he would finish what she started, his head still ringing he tried to look like he wasent in pain but could feel his neck already bruising, infuritated his amulet glowed dark, Xavia was consumed in a dark globe as she slowly started to suffocate as he cut off the air insdie of it ::
 
>> Xavia suddenly found herself in a dark globe and she felt that she was running out of air. She had to think fast before she would suffocate. As her breathing was already getting harder she quickly started chanting with probably the last air that was left in the globe<<

"pestis silvae larvis infestae!"

(ignite this spell to enshroud your foe in a black forest where vision is impossible....they feel and "see" nothing but fear and despair and are paralyzed by an overwhelming sense of fear. this spell lasts for 1 post.)

:: He heard faint chanting from the darkness of the globe as the spell took affect, he found himself blind, he suddenly felt fear and couldent move, his powers were useless as fear washed over him, as his mental hold on the globe weakened the globe vanished into thin air as Kevin quivered in fear ::

:: Coming out of his state of fear he felt heat coming towards him and saw several Lava blasts heading towards him, one manages to skim his shoulder giving him a burn as the others passed through him using his powers of intangibilty, glaring at Xavia he became invisble, levitating off the ground so his footsteps couldent be heard he hovered over Xavia, quickly thrusting his hand forward a bolt of light slammed into her shoulder burning it ::
 
::Val gets thrown away from Morpheus and glares at DC as she talks to the fighters. Turning back to Morpheus, Val sighs a little bit. Charging at him very fast, Val takes her sword out. Raising it up, Val crashes it down on his feet, tking the blade for extra force.::

"Stupid MOE."
 
OOC - Ok, I can accept that, but I still dont see any point in trying to fight if Im not in control of my character being that she has him entranced. It doesnt say how long it lasts since it is automatically a part of her "powers" But fine, I'll just perform. And don't ever call me a coward again.

BIC - :: The titan stumbles backwards as he is hit by the valkyrie's blast just before he feels her blade slice into his combat boots. Morpheus falls hard to the ground, roaring in agonizing pain, and in his state of entrancement, not being able to understand why his loyalty to her had been betrayed by these acts of brutality...::

for this battle.....because i have not yet heard back from the MoL as to how long that "entrancment" shall last. I am going to say that it lasted ONE post..and as you and she have BOTH posted....the effects have now worn off and you are in control of yourself once more.

but remember, there ARE character types on BOTH sides that can "possess", "manipulate" and telepathically dominate...it is a credible power..BUT it should be used with sense and logic.

::Val smiles as the titan as he falls. Releasing her natural ability to control the titan, Val looks at him in digust.::

"Pitifull."

::Val swings out her sword again and the blade glistens in the titans blood. Her sense of a kill pump the adrenline a little bit. Touching her necklace, she rubs the stone in her hands.::

Morpheus, there is fire all around you, the flames are kissing your skin and burning it.
 
even with TWO posts.....the entrancing would now be OVER anyway as you have just posted. in the future..you need to make SURE that you include an indicator of how long that power lasts so that your opponent can know for their own point of reference.


but for now...the entrancment of morpheus is OVER and that is FINAL. your MoL should be rectifying your power tables very soon...so that you have a better understanding of how use your "dominion over men" in the future.


i trust that this matter has been completely resolved for both parties :)

>> Suddenly she saw kevin surounded in a green glow, that meanth that he became invisble. Xavia was having a hard time not to laugh as he levitated towards her. She knew that he brobably didn't knew about her bell anklet, her bell anklet was a very handy item because this way she could see invisble people. As he came towards her she knew he was going to attack soon, then suddenly a bolt of light flied towards her but she deflected it just in time. As kevin still was invisble but he didn't knew she could see him she acted like she couldn't see him<<

::As an icy figure raised from aboth, blasting out series of ice, Devon moves through them with his last bit of intangibility. As he becomes tangible again, Kyroe seems to have ceased to respond. Raising his staff, flames enveloped around Kyroe. With his fire staff raised as well, the flames raged on, and switching his magic to lightning, bolts aooeared from the sky and struck directly on Kyroe. He is electrocuted, and gradually burnt to death, disintegrated to ashes::

"Now lets have someone else..."
 
: As Kyroe is engulfed in flames he sees Devon raise his fire staff. He flicks his wrist and the hand holding the Fire Staff blows up. This pain causes Devon's attack to falter leaving Kyroe floating in the air. He pulls out a potion and drinks from it healing himself:

:: Seeing that she deflected the lightball he knew she could see him as the light traveled well at the speed of light, becoming visble he jumped out of the air landing behind Xavia as he rolled away a tree branch that was above him blowing up as she attepted to blow off his shoes, smiling he glared up at Xavia throwing his hands and sending her into the oncoming branch ::

BIC:

::With a searing pain on his wrist, Devon finds it quite exploded, and dropping his fire staff. With his own staff still at hand, He immediately brought forth a lightning bolt which strikes onto Kyroe directly. His animal talisman then glowed, and his damaged hand disappears to be replaced with a bear's paw. With a leap, Devon lifted of the ground, and started levitating with the power of his shoes, and he used the momentum to reach Kyroe, giving a vicious slice with his bear's paw::
 
:: As the pain in Morpheus feet continue to linger, he all of a sudden comes to his senses. He shakes his head and with a look of bewilderment, wonders what he was thinking. Luckily for him, Morpheus being a former god, still had the body of one, allowing him to have a far more dense molecular structure than mortals, meaning that Val's blade only managed to cut into his boots and break the skin. Morpheus rose back to his feet, taking the pain and turning it into a fuel for his rage as he stares at Val, gritting his teeth, his blade still in hand. All of a sudden he sees Val rubbing her amulet with a sinister smile as Morpheus starts to feel intense heat surrounding him as fire appears before his very eyes. The fire grows larger around and draws closer to him, the heat becoming more intense. Morpheus dropping to one knee, wilting from the intense heat, he stretches out one palm at Val and manages to mutter a spell he had been wanting to try... ::

confusio voluntatis torpentis

This spell causes your oponnet to loose their will to fight. They become "numb" to the cause of good and just basically meander around the thread not caring about anything. This spell lasts for 3 posts.

:: And as the spell begins to affect Val, she ceases to use her amulet, as the flames disappear from around Morpheus, the intense heat quickly subsiding. He again rises as he looks at Val, a look of total depression on her face, no longer paying attention to Morpheus and seemingly not caring for the fight... ::

"Awwww, what's wrong Val? You had a small window of opportunity to beat me. But now it is too late for you..."

:: Morpheus walks up to her, his trademark look of arrogance on his face for he was sure victory was at hand. Feeling a bit of pity for Val, the titan grabs her long flowing hair, pulling her to him, before catching her in his massive arm, her back to his chest. Val who offers no resistance just hangs her head as Morpheus softly speaks into her ear... ::

"I feel your depression my lady... Fear not for your suffering will come to an end, I must release you..."

:: Morpheus then takes his free arm from around Val, and grabs her by the hair pulling her head back making sure to expose her neck. He then softly kisses her cheek before bringing the Shadowgiver still cluched in his other hand, to her throat and with his a bit of his magically enhanced strength to aid, he quickly slashes her throat from ear to ear. With her hair still in his hand, Morpheus snatches the valyrie's head completely from her shoulders, her headless body crumples to the ground right in front of him, her blood massively gushing out of the neck. The titan holds her head in his hand for a moment, looking at the widened eyes of Val just before tossing her head to her fallen body. Indeed the Shadowgiver had just claimed its latest victim... ::

"May your mortal soul rest in peace, Valfreyja."
 
::Val smiles as Morpheus drops to his knees. Seeing him mutter something, her spellbinder amulet starts to glow. The amulet sucks up the spell and Val is not affected by it. Shaking her head at Morpheus trying to use a spell against her. She pretends to lose her will to fight. Letting him grab her hair and pull her close, she watches as his sword comes closer to her. Suddenly, Val moves her arm and tks the sword away from her. Taking her other hand, she grabs her sword and cuts her hair to release herself. Swinging around, she grins at the titan.::

"You might have thought I lost my window of opportunity, but I still have it!"

Morpheus, you pittiful ox. Stab youself in the shoulder!

::Val watches as the titan gets put under her natural abilities to control men once again.::

Jules

:: As Sati's net changes to water and Jules gets wet, she's hit by the energy ball and sent flying backwards, hitting the floor with a painful thud. Staying where she landed, Jules activates her Rune amulet and calls forth a Spiritual Warrior (lasts for 3 posts)::

Spiritual Warrior

:: The Warrior appears infront of Sati, and using his magical strength, grabs hold of her, in a blindingly fast move, flinging himself up and over Sati , doing a 180 degree turn while directly above her. Then descending and using the forward momentum to slam a powerful kick to the back of Sati's head. As he lands, he turns to Sati and sends an energy blast at her::


Jules

:: Still on the floor, recovering from the blast, Jules places one hand on her earth amulet and one hand on the ground and sends an earth tremour at Sati to keep her off balance::

OOC: First of all, I am really sorry it took so long. I've been tying up loose ends all week. Thanks for being patient with me ;)

BIC

:: Easily faster than anything Jules could throw at her, Sati watches, almost relaxed, as the spiritual warrior moves over her head, his hands on her shoulders (I assume). She simply raisies her hand, engulfing him entirely in a blast of dark, mythic flame while he is still in the air, only his hands and lower arms free from the fire as they are in contact with us. Finally, with the flick of her wrist, energy slams into him at huge force, sending him flying high into the air even as Sati herself wobbles, off balance, and drops to one knee, trying to balance herself against the ongoing tremors. However, the energy blast slams into her back, knocking her forward. Wincing, she pushes herself back up onto her knees, and then to her feet ::

:: Electing to go for her favoured...more physical route, she smirks... Slamming both hands down to the ground, sending a shockwave through the earth enough to knock Jules to her knees. She breaks into a run, her run much more effective than anyone else's run as she is moving so fast she is almost leaving an after-image behind, leaves flying eerywhere in her wake. Reaching Jules in a fraction of a second as her intense speed reaches the speed of light, she pummels her with everything she has, her fists flying into the other girls surrounded by halos of raw, dark, energy in one of the most powerful physical attacks that can be attempted by anyone. Her body battering Jules in a truly lethal combo of raw physicality, driving her back with the full, unparalleled physical wrath that Sati is truly capable of ::

:: Amazed at how she seemed undamaged from the attack he found himself hurling towards a tree, slamming into it hard he gritted his teeth amongnst the pain, seeing the first Lava blast come out of her hands he raised his finger tips Xavias body freezing in place, as the lava blast sped towards him he twirled out of the way the blast melting away a branch on the tree, glaring at Xavias frozen figure he waved he reached into his garbs pulling out a glittering sword, glaring at Xavia he ran behind her with Super-speed plunging the swords blade deep into the square of her back so far that only the hilt was visble, pulling it out he placed it back in its sheath while laughing as the blood gushed out of her deep wound, looking upon Xavia he grinned ::

" Sorry i was getting bored, it was fun while it lasted "

:: Smiling he waved his hands shcoking Xavias body with White lightening assured she would die soon from her deep wound ::
