Showtime!

<< The next day, The KMA family is in full business mode.>>

<< All the models are up, in Sally's custom studio, prepping for the show, sitting at their assigned vanity stations after having checked over their assigned racks.>>

<< Sally watches over, directing the support staff, while the models themselves are pulling their tools and tricks of the tread from their famous KMA totes.>>

<< Hair, make up, accessories, and the first round of outfits are being put into place.>>

<< in the gallery, where the show will be taking place, the guests- the journalists, the buyers among them, as well as private customer Dina, and her daughter Elizabeth, are seated...with a few people whispering, pointing, and giggling at Cameron King, who's face is still bruised from Morgaine's power slap the night before.>>

<< It's almost show time.>>

<< Cassandra is making sure that all the assembled guests are seated and comfortable. Alek is stationed backstage. He'll be responsible for the music, lighting, and other effects for the show. Zach was back there as well, checking the lighting, making sure the settings were perfect. >>

<< He hears the clicking of high heels, as Sharon Kelly can be seen making her way toward him. Zach noticed she looked refreshed, and focused. Last night had done her some good. She was able to release some tension and enjoy herself, now she was back in business. >>

Sharon: Hello, Zach, Alek.

Sharon: Alek, Make sure the track list is in place.

<< Zach would soon be sitting out in the gallery with the rest of the audience, and normally, Sharon would be sitting with him. But this time....>>

Sharon: Everyone's in the studio, getting ready, and all is running smoothly. I'll be commentating the show.

<< She had cards in her hand with each design from Sally and Andre, with the key details she needed to highlight, and who would be wearing what.>>

<< She looks at Zach.>>

Sharon: How do I look?

<< Sharon rarely asked for anyone's opinion of her appearance. Style was something that came natural to her, but whenever she and her KMA family were about to do a show, she always had "that moment" with Zach.>>

Sharon: I'm glad to see that all the partying last night didn't leave anyone unable to get back to business today! Sally is finally warming up to Jackie too! Last night I saw you talking with that girl, Elizabeth...Zizi, as she likes to be called? What's her story?

<< Sharon WAS curious about the girl, and had made a mental note to talk with her one on one, to see if she had aspirations of being a model. As DINA told it, that was all the girl wanted...but Sharon was a good reader of people, and something told her that Zizi herself might not be as interested in that path as her mother was FOR her. She wanted to know what Zach had learned from the girl, and if there was something there.>>

<< And while Sharon and Zach were talking, Alek would notice her outfit, it was a simple black dress, but it flattered her shapely figure.>>

<< She primped in a small mirror nearby, checking her hair, and making sure her accessories were on straight.>>

Sally: PLACES everyone!

<< Andre was now checking over each model, with some last minute adjustments and touches as each of them lined up for the first round.>>

<< Sally , with DRINK in hand, walked behind him slowly, giving her seal of approval, and a smile or touch of encouragement to each model.>>

<< The girls looked stunning, they were picture perfect, and having Morgaine back with them made it all come together so nicely.>>

<< When they reached Jackie, FINALLY, the ice seemed to be thawing, as Sally leaned in, and gently caressed Jackie's cheek.>>

Sally: Break a leg, JACKEE' darling!

<< She said Jackie's name with that flare and accent that meant she decided to accept her as "one of her girls" now.>>

Andre: We're good to go for this round, Sally.

<< Sally finished off her drink, nodded and clapped her hands>>

Ladies are we ready!?

<< the KMA modeling family all replied.>>

Sally: Alright then!

<< Sally disappears through the double doors of the studio and makes her way to the gallery, now back stage with Alek, Sharon, and Zach.>>

HELLO, my darlings.

<< her voice gets their attention.>>

Alek, be a dear....

<< She held out her hand. He knew what she wanted...a DRINK. And he quickly handed her another flute of champagne. He had a chilled bottle on standby.>>

Andre's got the girls all ready!

Sharon, are you ready?

Sharon: Of course, darling!

Sally: Zach, my dear boy, is the lighting in order?

<< Zach assured her that he checked everything, and Alek said he had the track list and visual effects ready.>>

Sally: Well alright then, let's get this show on the road!

 

[Berserker]

Alek was backstage, and happily so, since Cassandra was out front with the guests. Plus, backstage was where the models congregated, and he was hoping to catch a glimpse of Ava during a wardrobe malfunction. However, he did take his job seriously, wanting everything to be perfect for Miss Sally. There was never a question in his mind that he owed her, so whatever she asked of him he would do.

The cues were already set up for the lighting and music, so most of his attention could be spent on the various effects Sally wanted for the show. Of course, Zach wouldn't trust him, so he was rechecking what Alek had already checked. Typical. He wanted the guy out of his hair.

“The cues are exactly what Sally asked for.”

Sharon Kelly came up to where they were preparing.

Hello, Zach, Alek.

“Sharon.”

Alek, Make sure the track list is in place.

“Already done.”

He flashed her a smile, which was more charm than compliance.

How do I look?

“Hot.”

His voice had a low, gravelly quality to it. He knew Sharon was asking Zach, and in fact was turned away from Alek, but the fact remained. And any time he could plant a seed...

Sharon and continued talking, while Alek's eyes travelled up and down Sharon's body, then back again. Despite her age, she really was a very sexy woman. When their conversation ended, he watched Sharon primp in a mirror. A smile played on his lips as he stepped to her left so she could see him in the mirror.

“Don't worry, you look perfect.”

He stared a moment longer before turning and going back to work. Shortly after, Sally came backstage, greeting them all. She held out a hand, and he promptly place a flute of champagne in her hand. He had a bottle on ice backstage just for Sally.

Andre's got the girls all ready!

Oh, there’s at least one model that I got ready...several times...

Sally checked in with each of them, finally asking if he was ready.

“Effects and music ready to go, Miss Sally.”

With her, he gave a genuine smile. Now, bring on the models. He hoped Sally had put some lingerie in this show.

 

[Titan]

The Studio

Andrew wanted a drink. Really badly. But he knew if he had one it would be five and he couldn’t afford to blow this opportunity. He was flitting between checking the clothes and seeing that the models' hair & makeup were as designed. Shit, he was nervous. But he was pretending he wasn't.

As the models started to dress, he checked their total looks over, then took care of any last minute fixes - loose buttons or zippers, stray threads. Everything had to be perfect. Sally would accept no less, and he could afford no less.

He did a turn around Ava, pleased with the result.

“Ava, darling, you are a vision as always. Are you sure you’re not a goddess hiding among us mortals?”

He gave her a charming cock of his eyebrow.

“When you leave us, it will break my heart, it really will.”

He clutched at his chest like he could already feel the heartbreak. Sally called for places, and he resumed his rushing around. The models lined up, and he had the opportunity for one last look. Sally checked the models after him, making his nerves crank up to eleven. Ut the girls looked beautiful, the outfits impeccable, styling flawless. There was nothing else to be done.

“We're good to go for this round, Sally.”

He grabbed a glass of champagne from a tray behind him and downed the whole thing.

 

[Oracle]

In the audience

Zizi took her seat next to her mother, next to the runway that had been constructed for the show. She was feeling much better today after her conversation with Zach. She'd barely even heard her mother’s harping over breakfast, instead daydreaming of her future for the first time where she actually had a chance of them coming to pass. And intermixed with her visions, were thoughts of a tall man with a scruffy beard and green eyes.

She looked around for Zach as she sat there, ignoring her mother's chastisement that she should sit still. She saw Cameron King, and from what she knew about him he deserved a lot more than a bruised cheek. She had heard his comments about her on more than one occasion, and she was pretty sure he'd gotten off lightly.

For the first time, she was a little excited for the show to begin, and she wasn't trying to hide in her chair. She waved to Cassandra as she came by, and even grabbed a glass of champagne from a passing tray despite her mother’s protests.

It was a whole new world.

 

[Persephone]

The rest of party had been uneventful after Morgaine had smacked the shit out of Cameron, causing Ava to leave early. She was interested in checking out how ripped Andrew was under his perfectly tailored suit, but the poor guy was so stressed about the fashion show he was all business and no pleasure. Pity. So Ava spent the entire night showing both Alek AND Ashley exactly what playing hard to get would accomplish, again, and again, and again. If Ashley thought she could have a threesome without inviting her, she just showed her best friend WHY they're best friends. As for Alek, her promise was kept and he got the Greek and Norse desserts he was so craving earlier....emphasis on Greek.

Thank God for coke because come show day, Ava was running on adrenaline and uppers yet looking fucking fabulous without an eye bag in sight. Sitting in front of her assigned vanity, she was already dressed in the look that Andrew had made for her with her hair slick back and gelled and makeup neutral. Putting on some lip gloss, she stood from her seat just as Andrew came up to her.

Andrew: “Ava, darling, you are a vision as always. Are you sure you’re not a goddess hiding among us mortals?”

Ava smirked at that as Andrew circled her like a shark, his eyes evaluating the dress.

"Are you sure you're not trying to see me naked with all this sheer fabric."

She teased with a little laugh before leaning in to whisper to him.

"All you have to do is ask."

Andrew cocked up his brow in a charming and sexy manner making Ava's smirk broaden. Maybe the nerves of the show were slowly starting to leave him and he can see beyond needles and thread to what could be a fantastic celebratory evening.

Andrew: “When you leave us, it will break my heart, it really will.”

All the other girls began to line up for the show.

"Well then, you better give me a reason to stay."

Giving him a wink, she walked past him and headed for the line up. She, of course, was opening the show so she moved to the very front of the line. Some of Sally's assistance immediately began to primp and prepare Ava before the curtain went up. Cracking her neck from side to side, it was showtime.

 

[Orion]

Casa de Spectra — Showroom Backstage

Ash had left the party with Ava and that duck-hunter looking motherfucker, Sally's newest little helper. Was she trying to make him jealous? For some strange reason it was working. Zach wasn't usually the possessive type, but something just irked him about the idea of that dude putting his grubby little paws on the KMA girls. Both Ash AND Ava were way too good for him. If they wanted a threesome, ZACH would have been more than happy to oblige. Maybe Ava was punishing him still. Otherwise he couldn't fathom why they'd use the groundskeeper, with his unkempt Jesus beard and long hippy hair, for their third wheel. He would've understood if they'd roped in Andre, that guy was a fox. Zach still wouldn't have liked being excluded, but at least Andre had some class.

But of course, he didn't let it ruin his whole night. He'd finally found a chance to catch up with Morgaine, and rekindle an old flame. Chivalrously, Zach had offered to escort Morgaine back to her suite after the party. In fact, he'd even gone the extra mile, and escorted her all the way to bed. Now he was ducked under the blanket, his lips trailing kisses along those legendary legs of hers, trying to wake her up while he waited for the room service breakfast he'd called for. And soon, the suite was filled once more with the throes of passion. Room service aptly left the cart outside the door, and Zach had gone to retrieve it when both he and Morgaine had been amply satisfied.

After breakfast, Zach had gone back to his suite and traded out his tux for something less formal, and he grabbed his camera bag before heading to the showroom to make sure everything was squared away for the main event. He had to tolerate Hallbjorn's hovering as he went about his business. There was no way he'd trust this neanderthal with any task that required more intelligence than one could expect from a circus bear.

Hallbjorn: The cues are exactly what Sally asked for.

"Well, then you won't mind if I check them, will you Alex?"

He challenged 'politely', and continued checking all the details. It wasn't too long before he heard the sound of high heels approaching, and Sharon's voice saying hello. Zach looked up and smiled. Sharon looked like she'd gotten some rest after the party. She explained that she would be commentating this time, instead of spectating like usual.

Sharon: How do I look?

Alek: Hot.

Zach's narrowed gaze snapped to catch Hallbjorn as he lewdly checked Sharon out. This motherfucker. Zach was suddenly on a hair-trigger. If this caveman tried anything, Zach would knock his head off his shoulders. Somehow he managed to keep his cool, and turned to smile warmly at Sharon.

"You look fantastic, Shar, as always. You sure you don't want to get up on the catwalk and put all those girls on notice?"

Sharon: I'm glad to see that all the partying last night didn't leave anyone unable to get back to business today! Sally is finally warming up to Jackie too! Last night I saw you talking with that girl, Elizabeth...Zizi, as she likes to be called? What's her story?

"It looks like I'll be taking a few photos for her initial portfolio. She's a little sweetheart, really. You'd like her."

Sharon nodded, double checking herself in her compact. Hallbjorn started hitting on her again. Zach was almost hoping for a reasonable excuse to break the dude's nose. Sally showed up before that could happen, though.

Sally: Andre's got the girls all ready! Sharon, are you ready?

Sharon: Of course, darling!

Sally: Zach, my dear boy, is the lighting in order?

"If it isn't, you know I can fix it in the dark room."

Hallbjorn: Effects and music ready to go, Miss Sally.

Zach shouldered his camera bag again.

"I'll go get myself set up in the Gallery."

He said, and off he went to find his seat. As the lead photographer, he always got the best seat in the house. He passed up Cameron, who still looked to be recovering from that epic slap Morgaine had laid on him. Zach smirked a bit as he made his way through the gallery. He saw Dina, and next to her, Zizi, looking radiant this morning. Zach gave her a warm smile as he positioned himself in his seat, his camera bag at his feet and his camera in his hands, resting in his lap.

 

[Artemis]

Ready for the runway

:: Oh what a night! Zach. Ashley. Her first industry event. Morgaine slapping the hell out of Cameron. Even Sally was finally warming up to her, just as Ashley said she would.::

:: She had one hell of a time, but she managed fall asleep rather quickly when she returned to her suite, alone.::

:: The next day she was up, she spent time alone in her suite, getting her mind right for the day ahead. This was THE day. Sharon was giving her a chance to show what she could do, and she wouldn't fail.::

:: Soon, she made her way to Sally's studio on another floor, and her station was right next to Morgaine's.::

:: The models each did the first stages of their prep, while Sally's assistants rolled the assigned racks near the station of each model::

:: Soon, Sally's hair and make up team was helping to prep each model. This is where the magick was made!::

<< All the hustle and bustle one would expect to be happening in a fashion studio was well under way. We see the pros- Ava, Ashley, Vivica, and Morgaine, and the new comer, Jackie.>>

Morgaine: Nervous?

<< the older super model asked, as she was getting ready>>

Jackie: Just a little...I can't believe I'm here!

Morgaine: Well, don't worry. You wouldn't be here if Sharon didn't think you had what it takes, and you had all the right moves last night.

:: Morgaine may not have known ALL the moves Jackie had but then again, Jackie didn't know that Zach had moves of his own with Morgaine too!::

Morgaine: Just remember what we talked about on the way up here.

Jackie: Oh trust me, I haven't forgotten.

:: After a brief moment::

Jackie: Are you okay? I saw what happened with Cameron....everyone saw...

Morgaine: OH I'm FINE. I WANTED everyone to see. He DESERVED that, he deserve MORE than that really, but this is Sally's home, and I don't want to disrespect her like that. Cameron has made a career of building up, and tearing down people. There's no denying his power in the industry, but I don't care who you are, and you can say whatever you want about ME... but when you mock my family...that's where I draw the line.

:: That was real. Jackie totally understood that, and all the other models, Sharon, Zach, and even Sally seemed to endorse Morgaine for taking Cameron down a notch last night, but knowing him, it wouldn't last long. He didn't get where he was by having a heart..or FEELINGS.::

:: Andre had already advised Jackie what outfit she needed to put on first, and was now slipping into it. ::

:: Morgaine helped her with the back of the dress, zipping it up for her::

Morgaine: Don't worry, you'll be fine. Just look for your mark on the floor and stand there. I'm pretty sure that Ava will be leading the first round, and I'll be bringing up the rear. But before we go any further, Sally will check everyone one over, and make sure the dresses hang on us just right, and that all hair and make up is perfect.

:: Ava, Ashley, Vivica, Jackie, and Morgaine stood in line, while Andre and Sally checked everyone over. So far so good::

:: This was just the first round. Once the show got started, that's when the machine would be in full motion, and each time the model did her pass on the catwalk, and came back behind the curtain, she'd have a precious few minutes to change from one out fit to the next off her assigned rack, get touched up by the team, and ready to make her next walk/pass.::

 

[Valkyrie]

The Studio

The party had been uneventful other than the good whiskey they had stocked at the bar and the look on Zach's face when she left the ballroom without him. Morgaine's slapping Cameron was overdue as far as she was concerned, and she barely gave it another thought. Especially by the time she and Ava were giving the knuckle dragger 5e night of his dreams. Ava was true to her word: not only had she not breathed a word to anyone about Paris, and provided her with some excellent pills, she had also made sure that Ashley did not go unsatisfied.

There had been moments when she had found herself comparing the mountain man to Zach, and then angrily chastised herself for it. She didn't care about Alek, or the fact that he'd fucked her, so why should she care about Zach and what he might be doing? Or to who?

She'd woken up in a tangle of arms and legs, just the way she liked it. Any whisp of a hangover was chased away by more of Ava's pills. And now she was getting ready for a show, looking fucking fabulous. She came to stand by Ava, who was busy coming on to Andre of all people. Ava would snap him in two. Ashley checked that everything was in place, adjusting her boobs in the Sally outfit that had been chosen for her.

“You are not seriously coming on to the brave little tailor, are you?”

She scoffed.

“It's so cliche.”

She took a moment to appraise Ava in her first ensemble.

“You look hot in that, though. You should wear it tonight.”

And her eyes said she didn't mean at dinner. Sally was coming down the line, doing final checks with Andre. Ashley gave an “I told you so” raise of the eyebrow at Jackie, who seemed to be winning Sally over. When Sally asked if they were ready, she gave an enthusiastic yes, more to pump herself up than anything else. And then it was all about the show and doing what she did best.

 

[Titan]

The Studio

Andrew might have spent a little long than was necessary checking Ava's look. But when she looked like that, who could blame him? She was the supermodel of the moment, and any man would be a fool to not take the opportunity. And as a designer? Even more so.

"Are you sure you're not trying to see me naked with all this sheer fabric."

“Love, I'm a man, I'm aleays trying to see you naked.”

She laughed and it was like music, and then she leaned in to whisper to him.

"All you have to do is ask."

He raised an eyebrow at her, before leaning in himself.

“If you find your current outfit too revealing, I'd be happy to give you my personal attention and create something especially for you. I can just imagine how the draping would fall...”

His grin became of the cheeky variety, before he held up his hand as if he were holding her back.

“But alas, I am a romantic at heart, and would insist on a walk throuh the garden at sunset with a bottle of champagne beforehand. No, I'm afraid it would be too unfair. You would not be able to resist falling in love with me.”

He had downcast his eyes for dramatic effect, but now he raised them as his grin returned, peeking at her reaction. It was risky, but she had winked at him the night before. Then he clutched his chest and told her that it would break his heart when she left the mansion.

"Well then, you better give me a reason to stay."

And there was that wink again. If he didn't die during the show, as seemed incredibly likely just then, he might have an actual chance at the girl of his very literal and X rated dreams.

Don't fuck this up, he silently told himself.

 

[Prophet]

Cameron's Suite

Assistant: "I really think you should re-consider this, Mr. King."

"It's a good thing that I don't pay you to THINK. The decision is out of my hands. I've taken it EASY on Morgaine over the years, but if she feels comfortable enough to slap me in a public forum, then it appears I'm gonna have to show her the difference between Junior and Varsity."

:: Cameron laid on his bed with a large and rare steak over his eye, a martini on his bedside, his laptop next to him. It was clear he had been working on some things well into the night. He leaned up, and removed the steak before tossing it into the hands of his assistant, not even looking at her in the eye as he did so, taking a sip of his martini. ::

"The DEAD List is more than just a metaphor, my dear, and you'll do well to remember that if you'd like to keep your lif--career."

:: The sip of his martini seemed to revitalize him as he suddenly got a burst of energy, stretching his arms out and cracking his neck back and forth. ::

"The first thing we need to do is create controversy that won't be directed back at us. This is a closed event..so any leaks will just come back to me. But we live in a twenty four hour news cycle. Morgaine is in the press already that she is doing a Spectra event. She hasn't been this visible since the death of her family. Somewhere out there a news outlet is reporting on the anniversary of that tragedy."

:: He rubbed his chin with his fingers. ::

"There's a number of twitter bots I can leak information to discreetly. We've got our own networks and servers. Most likely, Vivica has footage of the slap on her phone, and lucky for me, I have a quite a few hackers in place. I send out the word on one of the bots, my hackers see it, know what needs to be done...we splice that together with any live stories Vivica might have posted that show Morgaine with a drink in her hand, trace the root of the twitter bots to one of the staff employed at the fashion show and voila..we have a headline that reads "Former Supermodel goes on Drunken Tirade."

:: He began to get dressed, completely disrobing from his robe right in front of his assistant. ::

"But that's not enough. I'd like to revisit the plane accident. There's got to be something in there to sensationalize this. Perhaps she's drinking and acting out because she KNEW something was wrong with the plane? Nobody ever sees how she travels? Perhaps...somebody was after her..and now it's turned her into an elusive alcoholic who can BARELY keep it together long enough to honor the two women who made her what she was..."

:: Cameron laughed. ::

"It's perfect. And if THAT doesn't send her over the edge...well then I'll just have to go lower."

:: Cameron's assistant looked as if she were staring at the devil. Cameron was fine with the association. ::

Assistant: "My god..you're a monster."

:: Cameron walked over to her and brushed her cheek with his hand, the cold steel of his ring pressing against her face. ::

"You're goddamn right I am. And you? You're an accessory, and after what you've just heard..well let's just say, there is room on the Titanic if it becomes neccessary."

:: He walked over to the window and looked out at the beautiful surroundings next to him, still stark naked. ::

"Fuck I love this business."

:: Cameron grabbed his martini and took a sip. ::

"But I love taking down bitches more."

:: Soon, Cameron put his plan together and got dressed, headed into the gallery with his hand held high, not bothering to hide his bruise, instead wearing it with pride as the others snickered around him. ::

"What can I say? I'm bringing back Heroin Chic!"

:: As he took his seat, Cameron's phone began to ping. By the end of this fashion show, Morgaine would be hit with a TON of bricks, bricks that he hoped would send Morgaine to the high cliffs of the mountain in just enough time for her to JUMP, of which Cameron of course would write a DEEP and PERSONAL essay about the last days of the elusive chanteuse. ::

"Checkmate, Bitch."

 

[Sally Spectra]

Spectra Mansion- The Gallery

<< As Cameron and Cassandra both settled into their seats, silence falls over the audience in the gallery.>>

<< soon, Sharon Kelly's voice is heard, though it sounds different.>>

Sharon: Ladies and Gentlement, Madame Sally Spectra!

<< the audience claps, as Sally steps through curtains, in an outfit that would make Diana Ross or Cher jealous, and her famous flaming red hair, and of course her jewels and baubles. She takes a few smooth steps forward as Alek brings the lights perfectly on cue, and she smiles warmly. The opening music begins to play as well, as Sally graciously bows.>>

<< Cameron leans over whispering to Dina York>>: She's DRUNK.

<< Dina giggles, and nudges Cameron.>>

WELCOME to the renaissance of....élégants!

<< as the audience claps again, Sally bows once more, and quickly disappears behind the curtain. Alek hands her a new flute of chilled champagne, and she gulped it down, down.>>

It's showtime, my darlings!

<< a column of light beams down on the shapely Sharon Kelly, who will be commentating the show, and the KMA models, are all ready to begin their first walk and pass down the runway.>>

<< Sharon and Zach exchange an encouraging glance, as the music shifts, and the show is about to get underway!>>

 

[Seer]

The Show

<< Ava Cassadine is the first to emerge on stage, and flashes from camera, and applause can be heard as she begins her strut down the catwalk, while Sharon Kelly begins to describe the design she's wearing in a brief, but informative way.>>

<< Vivica Lennox is next. Ashley Oldenburg. Jackie Deveraux, and finally Morgaine Carole. >>

<< After the first, the "machine" was in full swing, with each model moving quickly to get changed into the next outfit. Andre assisted them, showing just how good he was at multi-tasking, making the changes as comfortable and easy for each model as he could. >>

<< Sally was cheering them on, quite pleased as things unfolded.>>

<< Rounds 2 and 3 went smoothly, with some of Sally's striking, and definitely inspired designs being presented.>>

Dina: Oh yes, I'll want THAT one for Elizabeth!

<< She pointed at one of the outfits while the audience was responding quite positively. Even Cameron King had to give it to Sally, she was definitely having a creative zenith moment with this new collection.>>

<< while a row behind Dina and Cameron, some of the buyers were whispering among themselves. Some were truly interested, while some of the older men, including the one Ava had rebuffed the night before, were more interested in the WOMEN wearing them, one even made a lewd comment about Jackie, but he was out of earshot of Zach, lucky for him.>>

Sharon: Ladies and Gentlemen, the exclusive first look at designs from Sally Spectra's protege, ANDRE.

<< And with the second to the last round at hand, the KMA models step forward, wearing designs from Andre! He was FINALLY having his moment, being formally introduced at last nights industry event, and NOW his designs coming to life on the runway! It was clear to see Sally's influence on his work, but also his own unique personal touches. All the models, including new comer Jackie, wearing his designs perfectly. The lighting, the music, the moment...Sally promised him this, and she delivered! Cassandra was genuinely happey for Andre, and she applauded as his designs were now front and center, truly the surprise of today's show!>>


<< As each model presented and strutted, Sharon once again commentated, and for Andre, to hear her voice guiding the eyes and minds of the audience on his designs, it was another moment he savored to the fullest.>>

Sharon: These designs are a nod to the classic standard of glamor, and a look ahead to the future of modern couture, brought to you by Andre, as introduced by Madame Sally Spectra!

<< The reaction that his designs got from the audience was nearly as strong as that for Sally's! Would he get some orders as well!?>>

<< The models are changing into their last round of outfits before Morgaine, at Sally's request, presents the showstopper, and all the Models return to the stage/catwalk.>>

Morgaine: How are you feeling, Jackie?

Jackie: This is everything I imagined...and yet so much more. Do you think Sally will get alot of orders from this collection?

Ava: Sally...AND Andre. The ready to wear boys responded to him almost as strongly as they did Sally!

Vivica: This is an artistic high for Sally, certainly...but I don't know...I think they (the ready to wear boys) might try to drive a wedge between her and Andre now that he's officially "on the map." Despite this collection being one of her strongest...she is a woman...and older now...and we all know how this industry tires to be. For every Sharon Kelly, there's a Cameron King. Ageism is still a very real thing in this industry. Add that to sexism?

<< Vivica suspected that Cameron was already planning his next bomb to drop on Morgaine in retaliation for her assault on him last night, but NOW was not the time to bring that up. The realization that Andre might possibly upstage Sally Spectra in the eyes of the ready to wear boys was definitely something that no one had thought of...until NOW.>>

Ashley: Tailor boy isn't stupid to bite the hand that feeds him. He wouldn't be here if it wasn't for Sally. And the ready to wear boys wouldn't know how to cut a dress out of construction paper, let alone do what Sally does.

Morgaine: And Sally isn't the kind of woman to hurt someone just to get ahead, she's always believed in letting her TALENT and creativity drive her success. She's not insecure, and her confidence, her flare, are well supported by her talent. She brought him to this point, she groomed him to one day spread his wings...I'm sure she'll be happy to let him ride the winds of success. She said it herself...she won't be around forever...

<< Everyone was soon ready. Morgaine stayed back, waiting for her cue from Sally.>>

<< Switching the order appearance this time: Ashley, Jackie, Vivica, and Ava emerged, wearing the last designs from this collection, and Sharon commentated, highlighting the important details, and while these designs are essential for today's woman with discerning taste.>>

Sharon: And now, ladies and gentlement, to conclude this show, I present to you, Sally's Spectra's SHOW STOPPER, worn by our very own Morgaine Carole.

<< Alek changes the music to the final song on the track list, an abbreviated version of Madonna's Ray of Light, specifically the "sasha ultra violet" remix. "Ray of light" was the song that had become associated with Morgaine throughout her career, and this remix offered a futuristic, yet respectful take on it. the lighting, and the background screen also shifted.>>

<< The show stopper that Morgaine wore was a reinvention of one of Sally's signature dresses- a design that appeared in nearly every collection. It would never be something found on a rack in a store, this dress was always a "one of a kind", not meant to be mass produced. The same thing held for the woman wearing it. The color of the dress was created for Morgaine, and the genuine crystals on the dress added the perfect touch.>>

<< She'd earned her name and her legend in this business, and this was her moment. She'd listened to Ashley, Vivica, and Ava, and embraced her KMA family again, and everyone, especially Sally, couldn't be happier to have her home.>>

<< Morgaine's icy violet eyes sparkle as turns/spins...like a beautiful figurine in a music box...once, twice....three times. She stands posed.>>

Dina to Cameron: That "Morgan" girl's still got it!

<< The audience seemed to agree.>>

<< And after Zach captured her image perfectly at various angels, Morgaine did one last turn, and returned to the stage, taking her place alongside the rest of her fellow models.>>

Sharon Kelly: Ladies and gentlemen, MADAME SALLY SPECTRA!

<< claps and cheers errupted, as Sally , finishing off ANOTHER flute off champagne, sets the flute down, and triumphantly emerges, smiling widely as she relishes in the moment!>>

<< She reaches back, and holds her hand out to Andre, motioning for him to join her!>>

<< She takes his hand, and together, the two of them walk further out on the stage, to the catwalk as the KMA models applaud as well.>>

Sally Spectra: Thank you!

<< She bows with gratitude for the positive reception and feedback.>>

Sally: And how about ANDRE, ladies and gents, isn't he FABULOUS?

<< He got a strong response as well, as Sally gestured toward him.>>

Sally: Thank you all, so much! Now...for those of you who wish to leave, the cable car will be ready in 10 minutes. For those of you who wish to place an order, Cassandra will be on hand in the lounge to assist you!

<< And with that, Sally leads Andre off stage, and back to the studio, where the rest of the models are.>>

<< she motions for them to gather round close, hugging each of them and expressing her pleasure with their performance>>

Sally: All of you were FANTASTIC, just as I knew you'd be! Now then, just keep what you have on, because Zach will be doing a few shots with all of us, including Andre and Sharon, out on the terrace!

<< As Sally left them to go and see off those who were leaving the mansion, Sharon arrived, along with Zach.>>

Sharon: Girls, it goes without saying that this was a GREAT show. Now, the weekend is ours!

Casa De Spectra- from the Studio up to the cable car floor

<< Sally Spectra was beaming. This show was an artistic triumph, and Cassandra had managed to catch her on the way to the cable car dock to let her know that she'd already received a half dozen orders so far!>>

<< Now back on the floor where she had first received her guests, Alek was prepping the cable car.>>

Carla Fox: BRILLIANT show, darling!

Sally: THANK YOU, Carla!

Carla Fox: I'm going to give you a BIG, GLOWING write up! Tell me....how are the sales?

Sally: Oh I'll know as soon as I talk to the ready to wear boys! Dina York has brought three outfits! Two for her shrinking violet daughter, Elizabeth, and one for herself. Andre's doing fittings for her and her daughter now.

<< a few more guests pass by, and Sally thanks them for coming, bidding them farewell. Carla and Sally hug and air kiss before she too boards the cable car. Finally, the first group of ready to wear boys emerges...the younger, more attractive, and more respectful ones.>>

Suit 1: << taking Sally's hand and kissing it>> Very, VERY nice, Madame.

Sally: Oh, THANK YOU, my dear.

Suit 2: Thank you for inviting us.

Sally: It was my pleasure! Now, if you'd like to examine some of the styles, Alek will be back in a half hour with the cable car.

Suit 1: We've spoken with Cassandra. We have two upscale boutiques...one in Los Angeles, the other in New York, in the PARTHENON...

Sally: Oh of course! I stay there all the time when I'm "in town."

Suit 2: We saw SEVERAL styles from you, AND your protege, Andre, that we'd like to introduce into the boutiques.

Sally: That's wonderful!

Suit 1: We've left our order with Cassandra, and we want you to give us a call...you and Andre both.

Sally: Of course, darling! Thank you so much!

<< they too board the cable car.>>

<<now comes the older, more established ready to wear boys...among them is the older man that was rebuffed by Ava, as well as the one that was lewdly eyeing Jackie.>>

<< They too greet Sally in a charming manner....and as she asks them if they'd like to stay and examine the styles for additional orders...>>

Suit 3: No no...we really must get back to NYC.

Sally: << looking at him in disbelief.>> you...don't wish to order?

Suit 4: The styling is a little....too complicated, too "high end"...and, if you'll excuse me, a little "old fashioned" for today's market?

<< Sally kept her poker face on...but inside, she was seething. She'd never been so insulted!>>

Suit 3: Now...some of the designs from from your apprentice....Andre, is it? He seems to have his finger more on the pulse of TODAY's market. You should let HIM take over, Ms. Spectra.

<< Andre's designs were not common market oriented, nor were they meant to be on the rack of some geneeric chain store. there was more to what this suit was saying than just that...it was the very thing that Vivica was talking about...that ageism. They were slamming her designs, but praising Andre's, and he was her disciple, he wanted the same market she did. The fact that one of these men rejecting her designs had himself been rejected by Ava was probably playing into this as well. But then the suits added more to it...>>

Suit 4: People today have no taste. They don't take time to assess the goods to make an informed decision. They want something put together off the rack, without having to put thought into it, and that won't require much care...

<< Sally just stared at them both for a moment, as they disingenuously tried to "soften" the rejection. She'd heard enough. She knew who they were, and HOW they were, and this was more than she cared to hear at this point.>>

<< She abruptly held up her hand for silence, catching these men off guard>>

Sally: I'm afraid I DON'T design for YOUR market, gentlemen. If you want designs for Kohls and Target shoppers, I suggest you visit Dolce & Gabanna. I imagine they would have the same mental DISCONNECT that you seem to have.

<< Without allowing either man to respond.>>

Sally: I'll have Alek run you down to the village in the cable car at once. Enjoy your trip back to NYC.

<< She said in an icy tone, as she looks at Alek, silently urging him to get them out of her sight.>>

Alek: FOLLOW ME, gentlemen.

<< the way he spoke, it was more an order, than a request, and he applied just the right look to intimidate these men.>>

<< Sally followed them with her disapproving gaze as they too boarded the cable car. She shut her eyes for a moment.>>

<< the reject was blunt, and multi-faceted. They weren't just rejecting her designs, they were implying that SHE herself was now too old, no longer relevant. >>

<< Sally Spectra was legendary in the world of fashion, she never let her success ,or the riches that came with it, cause her to lose sight of her ART and the need to keep her skills sharp. She groomed Andre, all the while crafting this new collection, which was an artistic hit with MOST of the crowd today. Carla Fox and Cameron King would both give her some of the strongest critical reviews of her career with this collection, but her introduction of Andre, and the surprise showing of some of his designs along side her's had changed everything.>>

<< Should Sally be worried? The men would say yes, but in her mind....there was no reason to be.>>

<< She stood there, watching as Alek prepared to take the passengers back down to Sleepy Hollow.>>

<< Today's showing was indeed an artistic success. Commercially, the results weren't as clear. She'd know more about that when she talked to Cassandra.>>

<< But beyond that, the rest of the weekend was her's to enjoy with her beloved girls, along with Sharon, Zach, Cameron, Dina, and Elizabeth, who opted to stay over and enjoy a luxurious retreat at Casa De Spectra!>>

 

[Seer]

And So

<< Sally Spectra. But from a DIFFERENT point of view. Someone is WATCHING her through binoculars. Someone on the grounds of Casa De Spectra that so far, has been been sight unseen, but WHO!?>>

<< After a few moments, Sally disappears from view, returning to the mansion proper, going to see Cassandra.>>

Sally: How were the sales?

Cassandra: Impressive...but there was a....

<< Cassandra seemed hesitant to say it.>>

Sally: What? Spit it out, darling!

Cassandra: ....there was a a bit of higher demand for some of ANDRE'S designs.

<< Cassandra waited, expecting Sally to have a negative reaction. But that didn't happen. At least not on a level that she could perceive.>>

Sally: I see.

Cassandra: But Sally, your collection was a HIT by the numbers, and Dina ended up buying FOUR outfits instead of three.

Sally: Oh did she?

Cassandra: Yes, two of yours for herself, and one of yours and one of Andres for Elizabeth.

Sally: .....very good.

<< Cassandra rattled off more data. All told, the orders for this collection were solid, but the takeaway was that Andre's designs made a larger portion of that order total than anyone could have anticipated. Sally got the critical acclaim because the artistry was there, and she was well liked, but Andre's star was rising. This is a GOOD thing, but some seemed to think...and even SUGGEST that it meant Sally's star was beginning to dim...and though she didn't let it show...that...HURT.>>

Cassandra: Sally... << she noticed the fashion maven looked a bit stone faced.>>...is something wrong?

Sally: No, darling. << playing it off>> Only that I don't have a drink....

<< she turns away, exiting the office. But with noticeably less pep and bounce in her step. >>

Sally: Finish up with all this, make sure we establish contact with the FIRST batch of ready to wear boys responsible for the boutiques in LA and NYC, and of course, Dina York's staff. The rest of the weekend is ours to enjoy with our special guests.

<< She left Cassandra to finish up, and was now out in the hallway.>>

<< In a rare moment, she lets herself fall back to lean against the wall. She looks up to the ceiling and shuts her eyes, sighing.>>

Sally: "the designs were too complicated....a bit...OLD FASHIONED." MY designs.

<< She said with a hurt, hushed tone.>>

<< As she tried to work through the hurt in that moment, we see from a view of a window just off to Sally right, Zach Armani is outside with Sharon Kelly, Ava, Vivica, Ashley, Jackie, and Morgaine, taking some great shots on the terrace. The contrast of their energy next to the view of Sally in a moment of distress is heartbreaking.>>

<< Zach mentions that he wants Sally for some photos with the models as well. Andre , who was out there with them rushes inside to find her. She's so lost in this moment of sadness, that she doesn't realize he sees her this way, and as he draws near to ask her what's wrong....she's startled by him. He's never seen her look so...dazed...SAD before!>>

<< As Sally and Andre begin to talk, we shift outside to the terrace, with it's breathtaking view of the mountains and countryside around it.>>

<< Zach is leading the KMA family in a photo shoot, some publicity shots. Now that the show is over, Vivica is able to reveal where she's been on her live stream, and once again, she sets the internet abuzz.>>

<< Nearby, Dina York and her daughter are watching. Having completed their fitting for the dresses Dina purchased, she now takes this opportunity to lecture her daughter on how she should be taking note of the models, watching what they do, and how she can one day be where they are if she just puts her mind to it.>>

<< One saving grace for Zizi in this moment is the kitty that she'd found in the garden earlier is now with her, in her arms. Dina, curiously, didn't object. She knew of Sally's passion to help animals, and there were several cats in residence at this mega mansion. The color point short hair that Zizi found, which still did not have a name, that she knew of, was enjoying the air, which had become a bit breezy, and she looked up at Zizi, slowly blinking her little eyes a few times.>>

<< Cameron was busy in his suite, putting together his write up for Sally, it would definitely be a glowing review, but it would also include more than a nod Andre, and his big splash debut. Andre had gotten the attention of more than a few people, for more than a few reasons...and CAMERON KING was among them. Before this weekend was over, he'd be getting to know Andre on a whole other level, but would Andre be ready for that? >>

<< The KMA models, fresh off the success of the show, were definitely enjoying themselves, bantering with one another as they preened and posed for Zach. Sharon was in on the fun too, reminding them of her own past as a model with her moves.>>

<< One of the best shots he took, would be one featuring Sharon Kelly front and center, in confident pose with her hands on her hips, while Ava, Ashley, Vivica, Jackie, and Morgaine were all posed behind her at different points in the background. It was the perfect panoramic shot, and the contrast of Sharon in her black dress, versus the models with their dresses that had different pops of color made it all the more visually appealing.>>

<< Zach doesn't know it....none of them knows it...but these moments, these images he's capturing will be the LAST TIME he sees these women together...ALIVE.>>


<< Despite the danger that is closing in on all of them, they enjoy themselves as only they could. The night will be interesting....with so many minds, eyes, hands...and bodies wandering, and finding each other. Casa De Spectra is a world a part, in so many ways. But for some...itll be an unexpected FINAL stop.>>

Backstage

Zach was stepping all over him about the lighting, as i he didn't know what he was doing. He wanted to pick the guy up and drop him off the front of the stage. Or a cliff. But Sally liked him, so he held himself in check. Still, he could push the guy's buttons.

“It's Alek.”

He said to the photographer, when he called him Alex. Which he absolutely knew.

“Ask the models, they all know my name.”

He said it with an air of superiority, while he put the last touches on the music set up. Sharon came up to them, and Alek knew Zach and she were friends, so he made sure to tell her how hot she looked, and check out her bod. He could tell it pissed Zach off. Good. He mentioned taking pictures of that young rich girl. He smirked.

“Like 'em young, do you Armani?”

Things were ready to go, and Zach thankfully left to take his seat. Sally welcomed the crowd as only she could, and he held a flute of champagne ready for her when she returned backstage. The models lined up, ready to go, all gorgeous, in outfits that certainly revealed more than the average clothing did. He couldn’t take his eyes off Ava. She was absolutely stunning, and it was clear she was the star here. He couldn't help but smile as he watched her, and when she hustled through the backstage on her way to change and was gone, it was like the sun had gone down and the air was noticeably colder.

He did make a point to wink at Ashley, who only gave him a look of disgust as she went by. He made a mental note to talk to the new girl, because she certainly seemed willing, and he gave Vivica and Morgaine's attributes an extra long look. The show was over too soon, just as he was thinking about ways to pull Ava into the closesy empty room and inspect her outfit at close range. He handed Sally another glass of champagne, then reluctantly headed to the cable car to get it ready to take the attendees back down the mountain.

It wasn't long before people started loading onto the car, and he noticed Sally talking to a couple of the douchebag suits. She did not look happy, and he made his way over to her in case he needed to step in. He didn't like to see Sally anything but her bubbly self. From what he could tell, these dicks weren’t being very complementary about the show. He didn't know much about fashion, better at taking clothes off women than outting them on, but he'd heard the applause, and seen how beautiful the models looked in the clothes. He heard his cue, and stepped forward.

I'll have Alek run you down to the village in the cable car at once. Enjoy your trip back to NYC.

“FOLLOW ME, gentlemen.”

His tone clearly was not one of respect. He didn't give a shit who these guys were, he'd pick them up and throw them in the car if they didn’t move fast enough. He recognized the one from the ride up.

“So, you want to go down the slow way, or the fast way?”

He turned his head and winked at Sally, before following the men onto the car and starting it on its descent to the town below.

 

[Titan]

Andrew, in the back of his mind, was a little concerned about the amount of champagne Sally was consuming, at least with so many press here. But he was too preoccupied with the show to really dwell on it. He was back in he studio helping the girls with heir quick changes, too focused and too busy to gawk at the wealth of exposed female flesh around him. He had to make sure they were each in the right outfit with the right accessories to complete the total look. And as soon as one was finished, another had returned to change for the next round. He flew around the studio getting everyone ready for HIS big break, a round just for him, a mini collection in a palette of blue. He was able to get backstage in time to see Ava finish her turn.

“You killed it, my gorgeous goddess.”

He said it with appreciation, knowing a model could make or break a look. But the dress fit her perfectly, and she had made it look twice as good as it would have on anyone else. He thanked each of the girls as they came off stage, except for Morgaine, who he gave a warm smile to as she stepped onto the runway, seeing her in the spotlight for just a second before he rushed backstage to make sure Ashley was ready to go in Sally's finale round. He felt high as a cloud - each of the models had looked amazing, if he did say so himself, just as he'd dreamed. And he'd heard applause, like nothing he could ever have imagined. And it was all thanks to Sally.

And when everyone was perfect and ready to go for the finale, Andrew was able to slip backstage once again to see Sally's grand finale. Morgaine looked exquisite, the gown she wore impeccable and one of a kind. Sally was truly a master, and getting to see her triumph was the event of a lifetime.

When the models joined Morgaine on the catwalk for a final turn, Sally brining up the rear to thunderous applause, she gestured for him to join her. He was flabbergasted, not expecting it of Sally, to share her limelight. As they paused at the end of the runway, he kissed her cheek, then stepped back to let her have the applause she deserved. He stood there, clapping with admiration on his face along with his smile.

When he finally returned to the secrecy of backstage, he let out a whoosh of air from his lungs. It was as if a huge weight had been lifted from his shoulders. It was finally over. And people had liked his designs. He didn't dream of selling anything, but just that they had been seen!

He followed Sally back to the studios, where he stopped her to give her a hug.

“Thank you, Sally. For everything. And your designs were spectacular. Truly. I was blown away, and I'd seen them before.”

Then Sally was hugging and thanking everyone, and informing them that pictures were going to be taken on the patio. He took the opportunity to thank everyone again, humbly.

“Thank you, all of you, for strutting your stuff in my designs just as if they were Sally’s. You all did more than I could have dreamed.”

He clapped for them, sparing a smile for Sally. Cassandra stepped him, and he gave her a wave and a warm smile. But he wanted to hug her when she told him that Dina York was buying one of his designs. The models were all staying in their finale designs for the photos, so he had the time to fit the Yorks right then, since Dina had also liked a couple of Sally's designs.

“Cassandra, would you mind showing the Yorks back here? I can preliminarily fit them now.”

He had Dina and Elizabeth slip into Sally's designs first. Dina was in one of the least revealing gowns (thank god) in a blue pattern and Zizi's had a low cut black top and a full skirt with a high slit. He could tell she wasn't sure about it, but it fit her almost perfectly without too much alteration needed, except for the length of the skirt, which he'd have to shorten. He gave her a warm smile as he looked up from the floor where he was pinning the hem.

“Don't fret, you look gorgeous.”

He sent Zizi off to put on the tiered dress of his that her mother was buying her, excited to see how it looked on her. Dina was about to change into her own dress when he went to one of the racks and pulled out a belted dress from Sally’s collection.

“Have you thought of this one for yourself, Mrs. York? It suits you.”

She scrutinized the dress for a long moment before nodding and saying she would take it, going back to change into it. Zizi returned and once again really only the length needed to be adjusted for her.

“Next time we should ask you to model.”

He said with a chuckle. When he had finished pinning Zizi and Dina's dresses, and had an uncomfortably handsy hug from Dina as a thank you, he'd carefully hung the dresses up and slipped outside to watch the photoshoot going on on the terrace, picking up a glass of whiskey on the way. Now that the show was over, he had the opportunity to appreciate the supermodels standing before him, wearing beautiful clothes and posing for the camera. Please, god, let Zach take a picture of him with all these women. He snapped out of his daydream by someone asking for Sally.

“I'll go get her.”

He jogged inside, and finally saw her down a hallway. But as he neared, he could tell she wasn’t her normal self.

“Sally?”

He slowed as he neared her.

“Are you okay? Is something wrong?”

He put a hand gently on her arm, looking into her face questioningly.

 

[Oracle]

Zizi tried to tune out her mother, nodding every so often so she would think she was paying attention. Dina was thrilled to be sitting near Cameron King, so he was taking up a lot of her focus. Zizi was watching the preparations for the show, with interest, hoping to see a certain handsome photographer. Who might maybe sit next to her for the show.

When Zach did come out from backstage, she grinned and waved brightly. He gave her a warm smile, but, alas, didn't sit next to her, takng a seat where he could take the best photographs instead. Her mother reached out to pull her waving hand down the her kap, but Zizi snatched it away.

Dina: “Really, Elizabeth, I don’t know what's gotten into you today.”

More discussion of the subject was cut off as the show was about to begin. All of the models looked like Barbie dolls, so pretty in their dresses, looking perfect. For th first time, Zizi was able to appreciate the pageantry of it all, the beauty in the details. Dina remarked on a dress with a plunging neckline as well as a high slit in the skirt.

Dina: Oh yes, I'll want THAT one for Elizabeth!

Zizi pulled the collar of her dress closer around her neck.

“Don't you think it's a little revealing? I don't think I could...”

Dina: “Oh pish posh. You'll never get anywhere being so timid.”

After the models had gone around several times, it was announced that the next round was by Sally's protege, Andre. Zizi liked his designs very much - they were all beautiful, and the models looked like princesses wearing them. More of Sally’s designs came out, and then finally Morgaine Carol came out onto stage wearing the most beautiful dress Zizi had ever seen (with Morgaine certainly looking the most beautiful as well). Zizi even let out a little gasp as she saw her. She couldn't help but clap, both for Sally and Andre. The whole thing had happened so quickly, and now that it was over she felt like she's been through a whirlwind.

Her mother immediately called Sally's nice young assistant, Cassandra, over and started ordering dresses. Of course, not bothering to ask Zizi's opinion. In a few minutes Cassandra returned, telling them that Andre would fit them in the studio. Zizi thanked her, and followed her and her mother backstage and to the studio. She watched the models trickle out, apparently to take some outside photos, and she couldn't imagine looking that glamorous, no matter what Zach had said. They looked even more like Barbie's up close. The tall Nordic looking one caught her staring, and winked at her, which startled Zizi who looked away quickly.

The fitting ensued. Andre was very kind to her, reassuring her about that low cut, high slit dress her mother insisted on. He also talked her mother into another of Sally’s dresses, which actually suited her more than the one she had first picked out. The dress Zizi put on was one of Andre's, with tiers of ruffles all down it. Despite herself, Zizi loved it, and beamed when he made a comment about her modeling for them in the future. When Andre was finished, she shook his hand and smiled at him..

“I really love the dress. Well, all your dresses. But this one especially. Thank you.”

Her mother hugged him, and Zizi had to laugh remembering Zach words the night before about her mother's inappropriate touching. Andre told them they could go out and watch the photoshoot, if they wanted.

“Oh, can we Mother?”

Dina was surprised to see her daughter enthused about anything fashion related, but viewed it as a good teaching tool. So when they had changed out of the new dresses they made their way outside. Dina kept telling her about watching the models' poses. But Zizi was watching Zach. Her gaze was interrupted by a mew and a furry brush against her legs. Zizi looked down to see the cat from the day before.

“Where did you come from?”

Ziz reached down and picked up the cat, snuggling it to her chest and stroking its head.

Casa de Spectra — Showroom Backstage

Alek: It’s Alek. Ask the models, they all know my name.

“Oh, I’m sure they do. Women tend to remember the name of that guy they had to fake their orgasm for.”

Zach shot back, as Sharon walked up. Alek proceeded to hit on Sharon, infuriating Zach, until Sharon changed the subject to Zizi. Zach mentioned possibly doing a photo shoot with the heiress. Alek made a glib comment about how young she was, and Zach’s response was cut off by the appearance of Sally, who wanted confirmation that everything was in order. Zach assured her that he could fix any lighting mistakes Alek made, and then excused himself to go find his seat in the gallery.

He spotted a few familiar faces amongst the seats, including Zizi, who for the first time all weekend, did not look completely miserable. She even grinned and did this adorable little wave, to which Zach smiled warmly. She wasn’t that young. Old enough to drink, at least. It wasn’t her fault she still had a helicopter mom hovering over her at all times. Poor girl was probably still a virgin.

Gods, she must be so tight....

He thought, lowering himself into his seat. He licked his lips, and then was distracted by Sharon announcing Sally, who came out on stage and kicked the show off in style. Time to focus on work. Zach must have taken a thousand pictures, including one of Ashley scowling, which made him pause and follow her line of sight, to that Neanderthal Alek, who was grinning grossly. Zach grit his teeth to lock down the flash of fury he felt. He almost sprang from his seat, but no, the show must go on.

He went back to snapping photos, internally seething for a while. All the models of course looked amazing. Subconsciously Zach took more photos of Ashley than the rest. She just seemed to steal his focus every round. In the last round she appeared first, coming down the aisle in a white dress that made Zach want to marry her. He was still daydreaming about it when Sally announced Morgaine in the showstopper. Naturally he took a continuous stream of pictures. He must have been the only person who didn’t clap, but then, he was busy snapping shots of Sally and Andre. When it was all said and done, they disappeared backstage and Zach gathered up his camera bag to follow. He made it back there just as Sharon did.

Sharon: Girls, it goes without saying that this was a GREAT show. Now, the weekend is ours!

Everyone was thrilled, and Zach ushered them out to the terrace for group shots before everyone scattered. He took a few of the models together, in various arrangements, then got Sharon in the center for some, giving occasional directions to the group to get the best composition. Then he was ready to get the designers in with the group, but he noticed Sally was still missing.

“Hey, Andre, I want you and Sally in on this next.”

Andre: I’ll go get her.

“Thanks. While we’re waiting on that, let’s get some individual shots.”

He started with Morgaine, and then progressed through the lineup, getting Ava, then Viv, then Jackie, saving Ashley for last. There was a little breeze out here on the terrace, and it was a perfect excuse for Zach to move in close to Ash when it was her turn for photos, so he could ‘fix’ her wind blown locks. They felt like silk strands through his fingers. He smiled softly as he looked down into her bright hazel eyes. Gods, she was gorgeous. The others were laughing and socializing, and likely not even paying any attention, but still, he spoke quietly, so they wouldn’t overhear.

“You were right, you’re always ethereal.”

He said, and then his mouth tightened, as he remembered something from earlier.

“I saw that barbarian Hallbjörn leering at you. Want me to kick his ass?”

 

[Persephone]

The show went on without a hitch with Ava opening the runway and Morgan closing it out with a bang. The crowd went ballistic, applauding and hollering much to everyone's delight. Sally was beside herself happy as all the KMA models did the traditional last walk down the runway with Sally and Morgaine closing out with bows. Ava was now dressed in her final look, another sheer dress that Andre had decided to put her in with a sky rocketing slit up the front to show off the killer gladiator sandals he customized [4th look in the picture]. Ava was certain the fact he put her in not one but TWO sheer dresses wasn't a happy coincidence.

Andrew: “You killed it, my gorgeous goddess.”

"I only wear them, you and Sally create the masterpiece."

Ava said warmly with a smile, knowing that Andrew and Sally killed it tonight with all of their looks. Ava playfully put her finger under his chin, her smile turning into a smirk.

"But two sheer dresses in one show? Tell me how you really feel, sweetheart."

Ava purred playfully with a little giggle before walking past Andrew to the other models who were all heading outside to get a group photo. Ashley rolled her eyes and gave Ava 'the look'. She had teased Ava earlier about her flirtation with Andrew, but Ava was in the zone at the time, the show about to start. But now, she laughed as she linked arms with Ashley.

"Yessss, I most definitely would break him."

Ava teased, a reference to what Ashley had said to her earlier.

"But damn would that be a fun piece of ass to break."

Ava and Ashley laughed as they--along with the other models--lined up behind Sharon to take some pictures. Ava began to pose, switching her look with each flicker of the camera flash. Even though she was 'working it', she couldn't help but notice Zach eying Ashley like a tiger eying a piece of raw meet. Ava lifted a single brow up and smirked, though it looked like it was on purpose for their picture. Zach finally asked for Sally and Andrew headed off to get her. That gave the girls the opportunity to all chit chat while they waited for Sally to come and take a picture with them. Ava branched off from the others for a moment to 'take on the view', but in reality her slender fingers slid into the bustier of her top and took out a small baggie of coke. Pouring a bit onto the top of her hand, she immediately took a hit before hiding the baggie back into her top and rubbing her nose to make sure there wasn't any evidence left.

Now I need a drink...

She thought to herself as she turned around only to see Zach stalking up to Ashley. Jesus Christ he was relentless. Did he not understand the term lesbian? Ava smirked mischievously as she slid up to Ashley from behind, hearing Zach whisper to her about kicking Alek's ass. Ava hooked her arm around Ashley with a smile.

"Now, now, Zach. Do I detect a hint of jealousy? Don't worry...he didn't touch her. She was screaming my name all night long."

Kissing Ashley's neck with a grin, Ava promised her friend that Alek wouldn't touch her and only fuck Ava. She kept to her word, but that didn't mean Alek didn't get a nice show in the process. All in all, everyone left more than satisfied.

"Let me know if he keeps bothering you."

She teased while running her hand down Ashley's hip. Giving Zach a playful wink, Ava moved from behind Ashley and headed for the house, deciding to grab a drink while they all waited for Sally to take more pictures.

The Studio

When last checks had been completed, she followed Viv down to backstage and waited her turn. Then she walked the runway like the predator she was, stopping at the end to give her signature: she mimed firing two handguns, then pointed her fingers upward and blew the smoke from the faux pistols. On her way offstage she saw Alek wink at her, to which she gave him a look like he was something she'd run over with her car. She made two more rounds of the catwalk, making sure to pose in the direction of Zach's camera, so as to have the most flattering photos of her in each of the outfits. Then she was changing into the outfit Andre had designed, which she actually liked: it was a hooded dress, and she felt like an ice queen in it. She noticed that Andre got almost as much applause as Sally. Maybe Ava had been on to something. She wondered if she fucked Andre if he would give her the dress. Hell, with that guy, she might be able to get it for letting him see her boobs.

But now she was back in the studio changing into her look for the finale. The other girls were talking about the collection's reception, and then about ageism and sexism in the industry. But she didn’t see Andre as the backstabbing type, even if the pret a porter guys wanted to edge Sally out.

“Tailor boy isn't stupid to bite the hand that feeds him. He wouldn't be here if it wasn't for Sally. And the ready to wear boys wouldn't know how to cut a dress out of construction paper, let alone do what Sally does.”

She checked her makeup in a mirror.

“Besides, Sally’s been around a long time. If someone was going to push her out because of her age, they'd have done it years ago. Designers have the luxury of growing older.”

The unsaid being that models did not. Ashley fully intended to perish in a hunting accident before anyone had a chance to tell her she was too old to model. Andrew was back then, checking her over and sending her to the runway. Ash was first this time, as it should be (though she wouldn’t tell Ava that). She didn’t begrudge the finale to Morgaine, however: one good comeback deserved another. Plus, Ash knew she could make any outfit look good, it didn’t need to be a showpiece.

She and the other models filed out onto the catwalk again for one final round, clapping for Sally and Andre, then it was back to the studio. She always felt keyed up after a show, and she was about to suggest to Ava they slip off with a bottle of champage and whatever Ava had stashed in her cleavage, but then Sally was thanking them and telling them that photos would be taken outside. She shrugged internally. Anything to get more photos of her out there. Andre thanked them all, and while she and the other girls were heading outside, she slipped and arm around Andre's shoulders.

“Listen, I love the look you put me in. I'm sure if you let me wear it to an event, I could get you noticed. Think about it.”

She slid around to the front of him, giving him a peck on the lips before turning and sauntering out to the terrace. She posed as Zach instructed, making sure to be extra alluring since he was behind the camera. She laughed with Ava over Andre, and made sure Zach got some good pics of the two of them. And then he made her wait to do her individual shots until last. She was giving him a good amount of deep searing gaze in these photos, hoping he was feeling chilly as a result.

But then he came close to fix her hair like he was touching a marble statue, and he whispered to her.

“You were right, you’re always ethereal.”

She finally looked at him directly.

“Damn right.”

“I saw that barbarian Hallbjörn leering at you. Want me to kick his ass?”

With that her expression softened, a smile playing across her lips. That he wanted to, it made her feel good. She took a step forward, fixing him with a sultry gaze. A hand grazed his chest.

“I think your exertion is put to better use elsewhere, don't you think? And you might hurt your hand.”

Her hand was stroking his finger as if it was another, more useful, appendage. But then she felt an arm slide around her waist and heard Ava's voice, so she quickly dropped his hand and instead put hers on top of Ava's arm, stroking it gently.

"Now, now, Zach. Do I detect a hint of jealousy? Don't worry...he didn't touch her. She was screaming my name all night long."

“That's right. She has a very flexible tongue.”

Ava kissed her neck, and Ashley closed her eyes. Why did she have to tell Zach the truth about what had happened, and ruin the nice jealousy thing she had going? When she opened her eyes again, Ava's hand was traveling over her hip, and she leaned her head back to rest it on Ava's shoulder, keeping her eyes seductively locked on Zach while her hips swayed provocatively.

“Be careful, we have more pictures to take and you know how the catwalk turns me on.”

"Let me know if he keeps bothering you."

If he does, it’s because of YOU.

“Of course.”

Ava headed towards the house, probably to do a line before Sally came out. As if everyone didn’t know what Ava was doing. She turned back from Ava to Zach, noticing something behind him.

“Oh, is that the York girl? Maybe I ought to introduce myself.”

Ashley had seen Zach talking to her at the party, and she wanted to gauge how interested he was.

“We still have those pictures to take, though, so maybe I should leave my evening open?”

Her eyebrows raised in question.

“I suspect Ava will be entertaining Captain Caveman again.”

Ava was her friend, and she certainly liked sex, and sex with women. But even Ava didn't really want her. And these other girls - they might experiment from time to time, but their hearts weren't in it. They didn't adore her the way Zach did, and sometimes Ashley needed that, which was why she teased him so much. That and the fact that he let her.
