Ack, I hate to add to the MIA roster but im in the process of writing 2 papers tonight before I have to leave to visit my grandmother this weekend, so i'm pretty much swamped with stuff to do and won't be able to post.

I'll be able to post Sunday evening for sure though. :)
 
OKAY. SO. Last week was a doozy, lol. I clocked out Saturday night with 58 hours on the week. Then I worked 8 more hours on sunday and 11 on Monday.

And when I wasn't working I came home and took a shower and went STRAIGHT to bed because I've been fighting this stupid cold/flu thing and it about kicked my ass Saturday and Sunday.

But it's okay, because today was my day off and I slept late, then laughed ALLLLLLL the way to the bank and ran all the errands that have been piling up on me lol.

The good news is I started feeling better yesterday and today I'm like 90% myself. So I'll be able to come home and enjoy my free time.

The bad news is that we are understaffed like y'all wouldn't believe, so the chances that I'll pick up extra shifts are high. So I might be on less than before, but I'm still here and expect me to participate. :)

but first, I have to read the trillion posts and get caught up. :p I'll try to do that tomorrow after I get home.

BTW ALL- if no one else has anything to add, ill be posting w/ oracle later on tonight and possibly karen to. moving us on to near the end w/ cues for everyone.

meanwhile- good posting from everyone! especially in this current thread :) everyone who can, continue on regularly w/ posting in the six (and around the board as well please :nod:) if lexi is unable to join us even for the conclusion of this story, unfortunate as that is, we'll just have to carry haleigh on through it but i dont want anyone to feel like they have to wait too long to post. :)

i will be posting tommorow during the day :nod:

Update: 59 hrs this week. I'm so tired, but :D I'm squirelling away vacation money now. :D

I'm on the schedule this coming week to do 4 double shifts.... which is what I've been doing for the past two weeks, unofficially. I'm kinda thrilled about it, but my managers are not so thrilled about the 20 hours of overtime they're shelling out week after week. :hehe: They seriously tried SO HARD to send me home on Friday, and they weren't even trying to be sly about it, LOL. They were like 'honestly, aren't you tired?' and I'm like 'hell no, this bitch is HUNGRY. :D' and then someone didn't show up so they needed me. :D

The good news w/r/t my participation in the Six is that this morning when I went in I saw like five new faces leaving what must have been a mass orientation. So they HAVE hired a handful of people and I anticipate things WILL go back to normal [i.e. 30-35 hrs a week instead of 60] in a couple of weeks, once all these rookies get out of training. Until then, I just need y'all to bear with me.

I hate to slack off at the end of this storyline, because it's been great, really, but I haven't even caught up on the reading and when I signed in tonight it says 145 unread posts LOL.

And yay Lexi! You've been missed. Sucks that you've missed the latter half of this storyline, but atleast you're getting some major money out of it LOL.

I'm starting training on my new job this week all the way through the weekend, so I probably won't have any banners/avs that you requested of me done until next week sometime. Sorry guys. :(
 
O! M! G! Delilah's pregnant?!??! I can't believe I'm missing this! :(

Okay, so an update: of the five people hired, three are still with us lol. They are being put on the schedule as soon as next week. ALSO, I heard we're promoting a couple of people to help alleviate some of problem.... So I'm thinking that the week after spring break, everything should settle down.... and Kelly [the manager who does payroll] will do a CARTWHEEL the week she doesn't have to sign off on my 60 hours LOL.
