Hey everyone I just wanted to let y'all know that my Internet has been acting wonky lately. A technician is supposed to come out tomorrow to repair it so well see lol. For now I'm only able to check in on my iPhone so I'll keep up with the reading but can't post anything lengthy lol
 
Hey all, so I just got off the phone with Farrah. There has been some flooding by her living complex and to be safe, she has evacuated the house for fear of flooding. She is okay, and her living quarters are fine for now, but officials say that the water could rise five feet more than it already has. She's staying at a hotel and probably won't be on the boards for a little bit, but she is safe and so are the kitties. She said she will keep us all posted with news as she gets any!
 
Ah, you beat me to the punch Brandon lol. I also spoke with Farrah today just to make sure she was alright because of the flooding. She assured me she was okay and just to put the game on hold for a week until she figures out what's happening with her living situation. :)
 
No kidding, she said she was out of town and she came home to that. I am definitely GLAD I will be missing the Nevada Fire Season. I remember a few years ago, looking out the window at work and literally seeing the fire in the distance slowing edging forward! SCARY!
 
When I first moved out here I was on my way to work and they had CLOSED THE FREEWAY because of the fires. I was like, WTF? I hate nature. :D

GODDESS BE PRAISED! My apartament COMPLETELY ESCAPED the water! My apartment is the only one on a HILL and the water didnt get up high enough (high as it already was) to reach my apartment! so NO DAMAGE!!! :cheers1:

<<sigh>> My babies have been staying with Kendrick, whom they know and respond well to. He says they've been a little fussy and they stay close by each other but at night, they crawl up into bed with him. I will be reuniting with them this evening for the first time since this all happened. and I will be going home on sunday!

Thank you all for your concern and thoughts! As scarey as this was, I really did not go through it as badly as some others on the OTHER side of my complex did, they are still displaced due to extreme water damage. and there are others across Nashville (and TN) that lost everything. So i have VERY LITTLE to complain about. I stayed at a hampton inn & suites while some others had to stay in a shelter etc.
 
ive never experienced something like this before and i'll never forget it. <<sigh>> I really fared well through this chaotic situation compared to some other people. i should be ready to resume the game later this evening or tommorow.

My mom is coming to visit Saturday afternoon through Friday morning. So I have absolutely no idea how this is going to go, how busy we'll be etc. But just so you all know lol
