Looking at her bio, I realize now that it does. However, Rampage simply 'ported out and decided that someone else should enjoy that little trap. It was the same thing Nicolas did in the alleyway outside XS, nevertheless I apologize for (unintentionally) infringing on the power set of another.
I will say though, her own magic-powered telekinesis has the bases covered in terms of effects to be used. It will be hard not to appear to do SOMETHING she can also do. In my action I did something like something she MIGHT do, but it was unintenional.
 
i just have to say, while the dischord among the team right now underscores how deadly Malice's manipulations were...i think that certain characters could have done a better job with reacting to the destruction raging around them and more importantly...KEEPING UP.
 
and OMFG! Might I just say that the last few pages of this storyline has been some of the BEST RPing I have EVER seen any of you do.. This surpasses EVERYTHING.. That was the first time I read post for post EVERY WORD of every page. Kudos!

just to point out something in the current portion of the storyline, i would have thought the characters would have appreciated Persephone's brave sacrifice to save them from being ANNIHILATED by Malice's psi javeline. If anyone had been HIT by that...they would have been nearly DEAD themselves.

this entire climax has fallen FLAT as far as i'm concerned.

When the characters were released from Malice's posession, they should have REALIZED that their actions were not their own.

NEVERMIND the fact that Blaze's arguing during the destruction of the terror dome [you wouldnt even find this in a comic book. who ARGUES when everything is BLOWING UP AROUND THEM!?] (and the resulting bickering of the other characters) took away from what was supposed to be the CLIMAX of this thread and the storyline. MorningStar is the only character who seems to have "gotten" the gravity of the situation. i dont think its understood that Morgan and Alison are about to ATTACK the Six right now, and that Haleigh should be finding Karen and brining her over to the area before they ALL get hurt..REALLY bad.
 
Personally I felt Guardian and Spellbinder were stealing the whole show. Granted, it was a nicely developed storyline but not everything can be centered on the two of them. And even though Blaze's arguing was unlikely in comic books but this is not a comic book. A comic book in my opinion is almost child - like, like watching a cartoon. Sure, the comics have some unique storylines and a pair of talented artists.

And despite your feelings here Farrah you have to realize that not everything goes your way smoothly. My role playing was flat yes, but I had to helm the front desk, handle clients, and work with attorney's and paralegal. I admit I skimmed most of the storyline because I was busy. But, I made an attempt to post for fear of holding up the game.

And although this climax didn't go the way you did its a part of life. Life can be complicated and it is unsure of itself. I do apologize for not keeping up or taking hints but I was busy at work.

We are short staffed at work due to downsizing and there are personal matters that effect me at work (like all this backstabbing office bullshit with a few colleagues of mine).

Everyone is human, we make mistakes. Even the best of the best can't always be on the top of their game. And I feel like your not seeing this. It seems to me like your so quick to disrespect someone's role playing or the scene without knowing the true facts.

And I did NOT take kindly to the players around here disrespecting the character Blaze Fielding in the shoutbox. I have tried to let that go but I'm laying it all on the table now. Everyone here has done something uncharacteristic but I don't go around in the shoutbox saying the following:

knowing her, Blaze will not register ANYTHING that has happened
i cant believe in that symphony of mayhem, that blaze behaved the way she did

Farrah, Sam, and Lexi are the culprits behind these statements, which I copied and pasted from the shoutbox. Maybe I'm being overly sensitive but when I write a scene or my character I take it seriously. I don't mind taking critical expression but this has stepped over the line. Its like one person discusses it and the conversation ends. And someone else brings it back up again.

The only two people who said nothing which I appreciate are Vilandra and Rampage. The rest of you bluntly laughed about a scene I was writing or comparing my character to some trashy talk show. I know each of you if the positions were reversed would NOT take kindly to this.
 
Oh, come on heather. Relax, don't get so upset. this is a GAME and whats a game without a little fun? Its not like we were being MALICIOUS or anything, we were just bored and waiting on yall to post and poking fun at what was going on. what happened to your sense of humor? we aren't allowed to joke anymore? this is peculiar considering the fact that we ALL crack on each other SHAMELESSLY whenever we get the chance.

I mean honestly. I dont really appreciate the fact that you're taking such OFFENSE to this, and I REALLY dont take kindly to you throwing this in our faces like this.
 
I'm not trying to throw anything into anyone's face. I'm addressing a problem I have and it bothers me. Some people take joking to the extreme and I feel like this was, especially when I wasn't there to defend myself.

My sense of humor is irrelevant here. Joking is one thing but continually degrading a character or the player is another. You may see it differently, and that is fine. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I already have an inkling of what the others players will say when they read this.

I never said you couldn't joke, I'm just asking all of you be careful what you say. Everyone has their own interpretation, etc. You feel it was harmless and I feel it was hurtful.
 
You LIE to me. you posted what we said in the shoutbox up in this thread to make us feel bad and apologize. well i DONT feel bad because NOTHING was meant by it and i have nothing to apologize for.

if you KNOW what the others are going to say, then why even bother with bringing it up in THIS thread? if you had an ISSUE or took it personally, you should have PMed us separately instead of making this big show of it like you want to publicly scald us or some shit.

the extreme? somebody said something funny and then we ran with it. we weren't degrading, we were KIDDING around and we never said ANYTHING about 'heather is this or that'. we were parodying blaze's arguing and i dont doubt we would have done it whether you were THERE or not. i think you're being a little unreasonable here. what would have said if you were right there?? 'thats not funny yall stop it.' no, i dont think so... i think you would have joined RIGHT in by hacking on SOMEONE ELSE, just like we ALWAYS DO.
 
If I could go back and copy and paste the numerous times people wrote "Alexis is a cum guzzling cock hound" or "I'm sure she would mount whoever walked in the door next" or "she's an unstable train wreck", I would be here all night. There were countless times were my character was placed up on the chopping block and poked fun of. Hell, when I brought back Persephone, there was constant bashing about her unstable behavior back in MoE.

It's all in good fun, or atleast to me it is. Obviously you see it differently. But what I don't understand is why you're getting so fired up about a character. Lexi said it perfectly, we weren't saying HEATHER we were saying BLAZE. And they are two completely different people....well, technically speaking, considering Blaze doesn't even exsist.

And i'd like to make something perfectly clear, that I found offensive. We in no way, shape, or form, made fun of your RPing abilities. We didn't say anything about how you weren't posting on a timely fashion (other than possibly, where's heather? i wanna RP which we ALWAYS say). We didn't even remotely come close to bashing you like that. We were strictly talking about the characters lack of reaction in the game to the situation around her. Yes, what you said is true. The game isn't all about Morgan and Alison. But it just seemed extremely unrealistic for anyone to stand back and argue about trivial topics when a massive battle with a woman who has been the thorn in the six's side for years going on in the background.

But whatever, I really don't feel we did do anything wrong, considering we're always bashing on each other's characters all the time. Not to mention each other for that matter.

First of all, as the MASTRIX of this game, HEATHER if YOU felt like "Morgan" and "Alison" were "stealing the show" then YOU should have come to me via PM or expressed your feelings in OOC LONG before the climax of the storyline. You have NO RIGHT to just DERAIL the direction and momentum of a storyline because YOU feel something is not the way it should be. It's because a stunt like this that you were put out of the game during the Inferno Crisis, or had you forgotten that?

If you can't post the way you SHOULD because of work or whatever, then just WAIT till you can! How many times have others not posted as soon as we would have liked because they had issues to deal with in their own lives? health, family, whatever. Sometimes I cant post because I'm swamped at work, or not feeling well etc. we ALL go through that. I've said it BEFORE if a thread takes longer to finish, then so what. its not like we have anyone to ANSWER to is it? its OUR game, we take the time we need and if there's a problem that will make a player have to be out for "long term" then they notify me in OOC or PM and i work AROUND it so they can return when they are ready and the rest of us can move on.

if you were not readily available, you shouldve just told me and i wouldve "carried" blaze through and that would have freed the other characters to react in a better fashion.

everyone will not "do" things the way i "want" them to do per se but i DO expect the players to follow my lead, use common sense and post according to what is going on in the game. not to just IGNORE the situation and act as though nothing is going on.

Seconly, Lexi and Sam are right. We werent Bashing YOU at all. We were making fun of BLAZE- a CHARACTER. How many times has Spellbinder been the butt of jokes in the shoutbox? "Slutbinder" anyone? hell, Brandon used his character Prophet to openly make fun of "Alison" and her fashion sense IN the game...did you see her (or I) raising a fuss about it?

Aside from seperating the player from the character...We make fun of EACH OTHER in the shout box ALL THE TIME. Farrah=Feather, etc; Lexi=Boll Weevil etc; Sammi= any and everything i can think of :D

Not only that, but it was done out in the OPEN because we had nothing to hide. it was all in good fun. Now when i express my displeasure with the way the ending of this storyline has been handled...you want to turn this around...well its NOT going to work.

common sense shouldve told you that starting an argument with the characters while Morgan and Alison were now transformed by grief and rage and destroying EVERYTHING around them was not a good idea. it totally took away from the POINT. THEN, when Persephone saved the team from Malice's final strike...NO ONE reacted to it properly. given the fact that Persephone has evolved SO MUCH since her days in MoE and this was the first act showing that she actually CARED about her team mates, i would think it would have warranted SOMETHING more than what came. It was a creative idea on Sam's part designed to JAR the team out of its petty bickering to realize the gravity of the situation.

Someone else PM'ed me expressing concern that Morgan and Alison were the only focus and I explained to them (as others will attest in here) that every story will have focues. And your character will ONLY be as "noticed" as much as you play/him or her. if you "stand back" because you claim not to know what to do all the time, then your character will be an afterthought. if you GET INVOLVED the way Persephone or Black Widow or Alison have in the past (and MorningStar in this current playing thread) then your character will be recognized.


This game ISNT about Morgan and Alison and if you paid attention, Morgan was OUT on at least 2 storylines and Alison was not involved in MOST of this storyline. We've had a storyline that centered on Prophet , Guardian and Erika King. We've had storylines that focused on Shockwave, we've had storylines that saw Haleigh being brought up to the forefront as Team Leader and the UP COMING storyline is supposed to feature Prophet's funeral as well as exploring the mystery that links Haleigh and Persephone (as revealed by Alison and being investigated by Alycia)

The bottom line is this: i would appreciate if people would FOLLOW MY CUES and not make their own. If you want to be noticed and recognized, then GET INVOLVED and STAY UP. if you have a question about something, contact me via pm. Be creative with your responses.
 
Dang! Lighten Up People it's only a game, and if you dont have fun and if it stresses you out at all you shouldnt be a part of it.

Farrah IS the Mastrix of the game, but it is all OUR baby. We have made it what it is and we all know the game isnt the same without one of us.. the dynamics the storylines, everything was created by everything. You can have your own things going on in the sidelines with characters, but I would personally think it rude if say during the Cameron/Erika/Alison storyline involving Kelly King if say Alexis was like running for President and having press confrences in the middle of the battlefield ya know.. the characters are there for a reason, they drive the storyline, and if someone put forthe a storyline that the Six is doing, like the Helena Quartermaine storyline, then we have to do that, it is only fair, it is The Six, not the Morgan Victoria Show or the Blaze Fielding Show or even the Cameron King show..

Everyone has their gem in the line of the Six, like Cameron finding his sisters and destroying his mother alongside them; Alexis figuring out all the stuff at Wyndmere, the loss of AJ, Helena Quartermaine, Haleigh dying twice only to come back like a Phoenix which REALLY should be Haleigh's codename, to BLAZE FIELDING dying in the Inferno, to have her twin sister come back, Jasmine Klein the stone cold bitch that nobody liked, to have even MORGAN die, to see Blaze come back from the Siege Perilous, to have Alexis go through so many changes, and to have Persephone on our side, we have ALL had a say in the major storylines in this game.. It's not right to think some characters shadow other characters..

I can say that from experience, we Have Cameron, the telepath, and his sister is Alison Marble, a Seer. Her powers exceeded Cameron and at times I felt like eh, my powers are kind of useless to the team since they have Alison, I am not going to lie, I didn't cry about it, I focused on the story, my power wasn't the only part of the Six that Cameron brought, he brought a powerful dynamic, being the brother to a woman that he used to despise and trying to bring along that.. I focused on developing Cameron as a person, and that worked really WELL for me. I didn't feel overshadowed by anything in the group because I knew Cameron well, I knew my place in the Six.

If you want anything in the game to be different all you have to do is ask, what is about to happen in this next storyline will alter ALOT of things and I have discussed this with other people in the Six and they seem to be ready for it.. the only way we can develop is if we are all communicating and not bitching ;)
 
here's the deal. I'm scrapping the current storyline. I am far too irritated and I've TRIED to focus in to bring the ending back to how it should be to make it worthwhile but I can't. I appreciate those of you who put for your best effort to make this story as good as it was and i hope that you all enjoyed yourselves as much as you could for the majority of the storyline.

I do NOT appreciate your most recent actions Heather in regards to the shoutbox , NOR do i appreciate the way you used Blaze in the final portion of this last playing thread. I don't care if you like that or not. You were wrong for what you did and thats the bottom line.

I hope that you get your act together for the next storyline and if you can't then you can leave. it's only a game, and if you're that hemmed up that you can't properly participate then there's no need for you (or anyone else in that position) to remain.


Oracle will wrap this up and we're moving on to the next storyline.

That's all im saying about this.
 
Brandon and Heather, it would help if you READ what Oracle was posting. The service is OUTSIDE at the "Hope" cemetary. we are not in a church.

and Brandon, do not go overboard trying to dictate the actions of others in your post.

lol, i had forgotten Cam had a dog.... I have asumed that Haleigh, with her wolfpack, would be the most liekly person to be caring for Cameron's dog... let me know if thats a problem.
