Well guys! I'm heading off to LA tomorrow!!! *does a little dance* I'll be gone until Saturday the 29th (my flight leaves at 6am pacific time but I won't arrive home until around 2pm eastern with lay overs and what not). I will have limited (if any) computer access while i'm away, so i'll just keep Persephone in her penthouse and say that she's overseeing the renervations and stuff? I'll leave that up to you Farrah. :)

Anyhow! I'll try to post later today/evening, but my aunt and her family just arrived from England yesterday and I need to spend some time with them before I leave for my vacation. Ours unfortunately clashed with each other. :(

I'll see ya'll later!!! Wish me luck in LA. :D

Heather, that last post of yours in "business as usual" was a bit over the top wasnt it? its like you didnt even read Karen's post prior and let me remind you're character is a mutant...she's not the Phoenix so keep that in mind when you have her going into this "roman candle" esque fits.

since Blaze ignored Alison's warning about the doctor not tolerating this kind of behavior in Morgan's penthouse, The doctor has acted accordingly.
 
Hey, i just wanted to hit yall up and let you know i'll be going out of town in a short while.

Tuesday I'm going to Florida to visit family and spent some time rejuvenating myself at the lake before school starts [on the 28th of August]. I wont be online until the Tuesday following[or possibly Wednesday after next] as I'll be out in the boondocks [where i grew up, lol] and the idea is to get away from it all. :p Its a sleepy old town and while my grandparents have dialup I know from experience I'll be either too busy or too exhausted to be of any use to yall, lol.

So just a heads up for planning purposes and so ya know. :p
 
when will be your last available date to post? that way i'll know what to do.

and it sounds like a rather nice retreat. sometimes i wonder about visiting some small little town somewhere and just enjoying that envrionment. the problem is, i wouldnt know where to find one in my state LOL road trips in michigan are very harrowing to say the least.
 
Hey Farrah, I have to disagree with you on what you were proposing. In my opinion, I had Blaze react accordingly to how she is, which at the time she was overwhelmed. Haleigh physically grabbing her suddenly sent her back to her past, one that caused her to lash out. I thought the scene was dramatic yet powerful, because usually Blaze never harms her friends. I wanted to show the sharp contrast between the affectionate bond she shared with Alison and Haleigh to a cruel detest for them.

I always read everyone’s post clearly and openly. I had Blaze disregard Alison on purpose because she was clearly not thinking, she was almost a lunatic. It was her "flight or fight" reaction, so I chose to express this.

And it may seem Blaze resembles fragments of the Phoenix, but that’s not it at all. Her powers are manipulated by her emotion. The more out of control she is, the harder it is for her to control herself and her powers. The fire that spread was not done on purpose, but on accident.

I knew the doctor would take action, its her nature. And all together I liked the scene. But as far as my post a bit over the top, I guess its how a person takes it. I responded accordingly to how Blaze would react, which I thought was realistically.

as long as you know that you've left Blaze open to ANYTHING now..including MALICE finding her.

you and the rest of the players know that anything can happen in this game and how the players react will sometimes determine what i decide to have happen.

I understand anything happens in this game, one of the reasons I signed up in the first place. :raspberry :nod:

hey everyone, i'm back from LA. i just got in about 2 hours ago and i'm freakin' beat. i've been up since 4am this morning so if i'm not too tired i'll post something in the six. but if i don't i'll definitely post something tomorrow. :)

farrah, is there anything specific you want persephone to do since i'm re-introducing her into the group? or do you just want me to go with the flow. (i still think we need to make her identity? maybe we could do that with alycia and haleigh?)
 
I think her meeting with Alycia would be fine as a "next step" for Persephone. just dont be surprised if she brings a verbal lashing upon herself because you know how Alycia is lol.
