no problem. we've all had to start somewhere and we learn by doing :) while i wait for the others to post in the other playing thread, i can now work with you and rampage in this one ;) so feel free to dive on in!
 
And your about to lose me again for a couple of days do to a session of computer upgrading. Starting tomorrow afternoon I will be losing my computer so that my uncle can install a new harddrive. This was suppose to be done next month, but my dad wants it done before he leaves on his business trip on Tuesday. I'm terribly sorry again for such short notice and I, myself, am upset at my father for making the decision so last minute. I'll try to get to a library this weekend, but I'm not making any promises. But I'll be back in full force next Monday. I'm gonna try and get as much done in this storyline as possible before I leave so everyone involved will have something to work with.

And I promise this'll be the last inconvenience with me until the end of next month when me and my family move. To give you details on that we will be leaving sometime at the latter part of July to move to Indiana. I'll be losing my computer for a bit until my mom gets the computer hook up again. I think this is all the news with me for the summer. I'll let you know if anything comes up that takes me away.
 
Siren, i will find another way to introduce you into the storyline. right now, i need to get Rampage moving. when you're ready to SETTLE into playing, let me know via pm and we will go from there. I just sent you the plot i have for Siren when you're ready.

RAMPAGE, i wannt you to go forward , functioning under Ororo's last post in "day of the other lights" go to the medical facility and get inside and post from there finding your way down to the underground access tunnel.
 
couple things: EVERYBODY has done a GREAT job in this storyline so far! Foxfire , Guardian, Persephone ...EXCELLENT WORK! :work: You guys are playing excellent opposite Ororo, Darkchilde etc.

I like the fact that MorningStar was able to make an appearence in this storyline so far as well, it lets the readers and the players know that she's okay after all. MorningStar will appear again in the story too ;)

a few changes: Jackpot, will NOT be appearing in The Six. He has been BANNED from the board for violating our Zero Tolerance policy. Siren's appearence in the game has been DELAYED until further notice. DonDaddyD will most likely be joining the "reocurring cast" with his character Legacy alongside Ororo, Karen, MorningStar and Alycia.

Rampage, you're off to a fine start, but your doing things with your character that are NOT included in his bio's list of powers. PLEASE do not go outside your character's range. I've been known to make it DIFFICULT for those who do :farrah:

play your character ACCURATELY and within reason. ;)

hey everyone... im back... we got in at 7 am this morning and after 22 hours of nearly nonstop driving... im exhausted. i'm going to read up on what i missed.... and go wholeheartedly appreciate sleeping in my own bed for a while. I'll probably post later this evening if nothing comes up, Farrah, maybe you could pm me if you have a specific way or TIME you want haleigh to become active again?
 
Welcome back! glad you made it in safe :)

just go ahead and read through and feel free to chime in in a thoughtfull way. I've tried to carry Haleigh along as being present for the events that have unfolded.

I'm back as well... we had a few problems with hooking the internet back up, but my Uncle fixed it in like 20 minutes... lol. We had to wait a whole day to get his lazy but back over here. I'm up and ready for anything now!

right now i'm just waiting on Lexi to post in the "lost in time and space" thread before we carry on in that. Rampage is coming along well so far in "Day of the other lights"

Alycia Barnett

I found some interesting information on our dear Alycia Barnett (as she appeared on Melrose Place) so that you all can get a FURTHER idea of how ruthless she was. :fdevil:

ALYCIA BARNETT (Anne-Marie Johnson)
Died: May 6, 1996
Cause of death: Car accident
Alycia Barnett was introduced in the fourth season premiere as Matt's lawyer. Alycia got Matt out on bail and in episode three of season 4, charges against Matt were dropped. She returned later in the season out of the criminal defense business and was introduced when Peter was trying to find dirt on Bobby Parezi, via his lawyer. Peter romanced her but was secretly trying to get Amanda back. Alycia caused the collapse of Bobby's cable company and discovered Peter's plan. She made Peter finance the company and refused Bobby a job. When Peter was charged with statutory rape, Alycia defended him but it was Amanda who eventually came to his rescue. Alycia then had a meeting with "Peter" in his office. When she arrived at the office, Bobby confronted her about the cable company mess. When it looked like Bobby was going to attack her, she hit him over the head with a golf club, causing him to fall out the window to his death. Alycia rented a car and drove out of town. She called Peter on her cell phone and told him everything that happened. When she dropped the cell phone, she swerved into the wrong lane and hit an oncoming truck. She was pronounced dead at Wilshire Memorial.

Died: April 29, 1996
Cause of death: Fell through a window in a high rise office
Introduced when his brother, Jack Parezi, was killed. Instructed by his father, Vince Parezi, to kill Amanda, but ended up winning her back instead. Vince came to L.A. to gun down Amanda and Bobby, but the two foiled the attempt. Took his family's cable company account to D&D and Peter plotted with Bobby's lawyer, Alycia Barnett, to frame Bobby for bribery. Bobby gave up the cable company and Amanda and ended up moving in with Sydney. Sydney learned the news of the cable company and told Bobby. Bobby confronted Alycia in Peter's office and she accidentally threw him out the window in self-defense. :haha:

LOL, niiiice. I'll make a mental note to keep all golf clubs in the closet when Alycia visits. ;)
 
For such a powerhouse, that was probably the lamest death on Melrose Place besides Brooke falling and drowning in the pool (which I laughed about the whole time, I hated her). But seriously, here is a powerful woman they should have killed her off in an explosive manner, anything but a car accident. I mean it IS shocking though, I would have enjoyed her cast as a regular.

I think Bobby's death was slightly interesting lol. Who was the guy who was abusive to Amanda? I thought Amanda hit some guy and he too fell to his death or did she shoot him? lol I can't remember, its sooooo long ago.

Nice information, Farrah. Remember when we were thinking of creating that Melrose Place role play? That seriously would have kicked ass! :p
 
the man who abused Amanda was JACK Parezi, Bobby's brother. She was married to him and faked her death to escape him. When he found her in LA, he kidnapped her to his house and tried to beat her again but she fought back. she slammed a golf club into his knee cap and ran for her life but when he tried to catch her she made him fall over a balcony and crash into the chandilier before hitting the floor. LOL

While Alycia was on the show, Alycia and Amanda were arch rivals, they shared men and were easily the best to watch when it came to fighting.

we are now meeting up with Rampage, Ororo and Karen in the "Day of the Other Lights" so everyone read the last couple of posts in "Lost in Time and Space" and then post accordingly after you've read Oracle's post in "Day of the other lights".
