Im back guys, and i posted. I'm almost ready to bring Haleigh in. I was going to have one of her associates infrom her of the super soldier's resurfacing. She would certainly be interested in handling the matter herself. Farrah, PM me if there's any details [for the future storyline] that you think ill need to know :)

Welcome back Lexi! Glad to know you're safe!! (you are arent you...??)

thats a good idea...having someone informed her about an EXTREME disturbance on the east coast in a secluded lake front area...and that several "distinct" energy patterns were registered. maybe mention something about Alycia Barnett and Sharon Kelly going underground shortly before this "disturbance" was noticed and sitings of a "massive shape" seen in the darkened forest at night.

that could also imply to Haleigh why Morgan, Alison, and Alexis were missing.

Everyone[ morgan, alexis, delilah, alycia, sharon and adrian] is going to return to Illustra in the next playing thread...and process the scope of what they are facing.
 
Oh yes, I'm safe. :) No doubt yall have heard of the massive TRAFFIC GRIDLOCK... its being called the WORST in US history, over 100 miles of bumper to bumper traffic... people running out of GAS sitting idle... and houston was OUT OF GAS EVERYWHERE. Well... we were going to go north as well... but when we started hearing about it... and seeing in on TV.... we decided to wait to leave until it cleared up a little [it never did]. Friday morning we decided to change plans... and go SOUTH instead. Since we knwe it would hit Galveston or further north, we went south to Corpus Christi [its at the southern tip of Texas]. There was no traffic going that way... and the beach city was a GHOST TOWN b/c they evacuated earlier when Rita was expected to hit in that area... so we had no problems getting a hotel room and stayed there a night until we thought it safe to return. Fortunately... the storm took a twist to the east.... and our area experienced nothing more damaging than 30-40 mph winds and torrential rain. We unboarded our windows and cleaned up the tree/leaves and other foliage debri this evening... luckily there was no damage to our home. As it so happens.... it wasnt so bad that we needed to leave... being that Rita didnt hit in our area.... but I see what the hurricane did to the areas it DID hit... and can only count my lucky stars.... if it HAD hit in our area, evacuation wouldve been necessary. Better safe than sorry, right? I just feel sorry for those places that were hit.

That sounds good... would you rather me have her go after you guys and get there after you leave to see the "disturbance site" or would you like to have Alison cave in and reach out to Haleigh at CI? or both?

yes, ive seen the images...and i was like "what if lexi is in there??" i just cant IMAGINE the anxiety i would feel if i had been in that...i already have agoraphobic tendencies as it is...:bored: Rita's path was VERY eratic...they kept saying early on that "she" was changing directions. i wonder if that had anything to do with the fact that as "she" crossed the gulf stream she got caught up in the powerful wind belts therein?


have your contacts inform haleigh of the disturbance...with some fleeting images (as spellbinder had used a cloaking spell more than once) and when haleigh reaches her home or whatever...there'll be a message waiting from Guardian.

given the magnitude of the situation...youve seen how LINIENT Morgan and Alison were with Adrian...so it stands to reason they will b e some version of that with Haleigh too.
 
yeah, same here. :eek3: I told my daddy I'd rather STAY at home than evacuate with the current traffic conditions... that i felt SAFER at home, even in the midst of the hurricane. we ALL remember what happened after Katrina...the rapes and the violence... It wouldve been me, my mom, and my three sisters out there in that mess :eek3: [as my daddy was going to stay behind for his patients].... and NONE of us wanted to take that chance. Luckily... b/c of the traffic and the hurricane.... my daddys company shut down... he called all his patients to find out if they were evacuating or preparing for the storm.... and then had the weekend off.... so we were ALL able to go down to CC. :nod:

I'm taking a meteorology class this semester for my aviation degree..... and as i understand it... there was a high pressure system above Southeastern US that was holding Rita down. Weather specialists expected the system to move slightly east and for Rita to make a turn but still hit Galveston/houston. It appears the system made a much bigger move east than they thought.... and in turn, Rita made a much sharper northern turn and hit the Texas/Louisiana coast.

Okay guys just here with a frieken update.. The last two weeks of my life have probably been the most stressful than I could have ever imagined.. Sam and Farrah know where I am coming from when I mention living with my Uncle and Cousin.

So I move into my Uncle's ghetto fuckin house and now I realize that he hasn't even activated the phone line! He wanted us all to use our cell phones and so now I am stuck with out Internet and am using my College Library Computer at the moment, which is what I guess I am going to have to do from now on or at least for a little while... until I can look into Cable Modem and that junk..

I have been wanting to call Farrah for awhile but I have been working closing shifts at Starbucks for literally three weeks in a row! So when I get home, it is around 2 or 3 in the morning for her, plus I have been battling with my cell phone company who is trying to overcharge me!

So.. I just read about the board being hacked.. I trust everything is okay? I feel bad that I wasn't there to help, but whatever you need me to do just let me know, Farrah.. My number is 775-220-9030 if you need to reach me.

Whatever you want to do with Prophet I will try my best to do..
 
By the way, I absolutely love this storyline :)

And Vilandra, I love how you play Delilah! She is very intelligent ;)

I got all caught up on the story and posted!
