EVERYONE- i know it looks kinda silly like i was "rp'ing w/ myself" as sam put it :p but I had to do an in depth set up. this is the prologue for the story. Garrick is due up to start posting & then after we wrap up...the first playing thread for everyone will start up! :nod:

Thanks for your continued support & participation! I love doing this game. I have so much stress in my life & this is one of the few things that allows me to revel in fun & creativity. & I enjoy working w/ you all :)
 
I'm just waiting on sam to whip up some stuff for Karen (& as always, I'm appreciative :nod:) & to save some time, Garrick, I took the liberty of switching your [six] av & banner for the current storyline we're doing :)

Remember- its not permanent & you can always change @ anytime like we all do every so often.
 
did you save his Nicolas av and banner? Because I don't think I have his avatar saved anymore...

and i'll get to the karen stuff eventually. my program is being glitchy and it's really pissing me off having something made and it just randomly shutting down without saving. :rolleyes: i'm going to have my friend look at it sometime this week.
 
Hey Sam, if you want to take the lead on getting Ava and Delilah to Nicolas', I'll just catch up Delilah to that point afterward. Otherwise I think it would be backwards, unless I post up until the point where Ava brings them there.
 
All: remember, in the current non canon story, use of powers by the core cast (outside of Karen/Carole) is MODERATE. These are young ppl who are still "in training", certainly not combat hardened or seasoned like mainstream six. Courtney's mystical powers or implied but will not be seen openly except for on two occasions in the story. the characters also have their individual non super powered talents that make them unique.

Morgan/Courtney: Time/Space Teleporting (stepping discs) herself , other people or objects to/from; mystical abilities [implied] - manifestation of magickal abilities require use of an actual SPELL & or/talisman. while her teleporting power seems to be well controlled...the FARTHER she attempts to teleport, the greater margin for error. teleporting objects TO her requires her to see the actual target. Psi-Screened BUT Nicolas can detect her emotions & vital signs. *LIMBO is the big secret she & her mother keep from everyone about her powers, fearing ppl will think of her as a DEMON b/c her power is to control the stepping discs which originate in Limbo, thus linking her to the sorcerous realm. Nicolas is the only one of the core to have seen Limbo & no one believes him about it.

Ava: Weather manipulation (e.g. - temp control, gusts of wind, bolts of lightning, clouds of fog, blasts of thunder for physical impact)- emotional control needed for most effective display of power. complex things like SEVERE storms or small scale tornados take extreme effort & would leave her exhausted

Delilah: Manifestation of LIGHT across the spectrum (e.g. - "lightshows", strobe effects/flasbulbs, photon blasts & laser blasts, perfect vision)- photon & laser blasts require great effort & concentration. has the advantage of long range & light speed activation if she can focus & time her photon/laser blasts just right; is immune to the blinding effects of her lightshows/strobes/flashbulb effects

Nicolas: Superstrength (not defined but certainly NOT class 100 @ this time) & telekinesis but primarily used to augment his physical abilities including leaping (a'la the hulk but STILL in training to control trajectory & landing); durable yes but NOT nigh invulnerable. vulnerable to sonic attacks or strobe effects when trying to focus to use TK in more intricate ways. Telepathic ability but limited to sense thoughts/emotions of others (friendly or hostile).
 
Yay I heard back from Lexi on Facebook! She said that real life sort of took over when she got back from vacation but she's okay :) Apparently it's a "long ass story" lol :D
