Please stand by as I shift things around just a bit :) I'll be PM'ing some of you.

We'll continue this current story in progress, w/ some slight alterations.

We'll have an "A" and "B" plot going.

Remember, no matter what, when posting in the story threads, please LABEL your posts to show where your character is.

Just letting everyone know i'll be out of town Friday to Tuesday with no internet access. I'll have my phone to check in but I won't be able to post.
 
If anyone has upcoming characters, if you could please send me their AIs - I don't need character names or anything if it's a secret - just so I can put a placeholder in the AI list. It's not easy to update so if I can do them all at once that is better.

Also, characters that have their own accounts can just use the regular account avatar and banner functions, rather than putting them in the Six profile part.

CHARACTER CREATION

Players of the Six, I strongly encourage ideas for new characters and stories. But out of consideration and respect for your fellow players' creative process and participation in the game, if you have a character idea that may overlap in some way w/ an already established character, PLEASE be courteous and reach out to the person w/ that character to discuss your idea w/ him or her, ALSO discuss details such as: the character's orgin and backstory- to make sure you don't take from the uniqueness of an ALREADY existing character. It IS possible to have more than one character who is a telepath, a magick user or has a connection to the TO virus, etc- BUT you need to take the necessary measure to insure that your proposed character's backstory of how/WHY he or she is a telepath, magick user or has the TO virus, etc does NOT balatantly copy an already established character. That totally minimizes the effort the person w/ that character put into it.

Another more plain example is: If you have a character who has the TO virus...and he or she was infected by Christopher Victory, and then re-captured by Mystech....then OBVIOUSLY that's a RIP OFF of Black Widow's origin. There ARE other avenues you could take, and you should repsect the person who created Black Widow enough to take the time and effort to figure out a backstory that is UNIQUE and different from her's.

ALSO, when you approach the person w/ an already established character, be sure to discuss: how your character will function, why he or she will NOT take away or "step on" a signature that is associated w/ their already established character. Work out a compromise if at all possible. If that does not work, please contact me, and I will assist. Every player brings something unique to this ART that we all create together, and part of that comes from the individual motivation. That motivation may be weakened if a person feels that his or her ideas are being copied or stepped on by others at every turn.

I can help explain clear differences and how/why characters who have similiar natures or powers will NOT take away from one another, but I would rather the players communicate to each other FIRST to see if they can't come to that understanding and then, if that doesn't work, please contact me, and I'll assist. Also, please do not engage in bashing of other players over their characters. This is not CB or Marvel Boards. We DON'T DO THAT HERE and it won't be tolerated! EVERYONE needs to be open minded and allow for open, respectful communication.

After you have discussed this with the person who has an already established character, and you've insured that there's no overlap, ripoff or "stepping on" happening, THEN contact me so we can proceed!
