i just wanted to let you all know that two of the founders of ADA are returning to us.

DG Hecate (no known on this board as Pessimist) and Ikaris (now known as Gangrel) are joining us when the game reopens.

some of you know them or OF them.........but i just wanted to make sure that we welcome when they arrive.
 
I knew Ikaris was rejoining, I saw his post in AHBL. :) I must admit I'm thrilled to hear of this. I know they will both be excellent additions to our arsenal. :D
 
DG is coming back!?!?! You've got to tell me how you pulled that one off! Now if we can just get dear ole Morganna back :D

*GASP* people here older than me in RPG years!....well I'm still older than Ash, only by a couple weeks though.....but still...

DG and I have talked on the phone and she is most interested in seeing "what i've cooked up" in the game:)

i let ike preview this game back when i was first setting it up on Charmed boards.........and he gave a big approval. knowing how much of an rpg buff he is....that was such an honor.

he is the person who forced me to make "darkchilde" something other than a carbon copy of the marvel character by the same name.

I remember him complaining about the very first bio you sent to him and how there was no thought in it....it was just a copy of a marvel character
 
he and i fought all the time........it was a true ongoing catfight ...especially the night DC and Ikaris got into in ADA Cafe when he incinerated that midge kid.

we had this HUGE blow out in WWD too once...lol but after that things seemed to get better between us..slowly.

he used to call me "Dark Infant" :eek: :rolleyes: lol
 
Awesome! I look forward to seeing the two once more, I never met Ikaris both in and out of character other than for my training assignments. DG I've role played with Kindred, are they starting at level 1?

This adds more flavor to the game, I'm also excited but it also revives our second home, ADA. Where I met Darkchilde and Vilandra. Good times. ;)

Perhaps I'll bring back the XS Coyotes. :D
 
i am not sure about that Heather. i think ill PM them and ask them if they want to start at level 1 if NOT...then ill show them the level ladder and character types and let them pick what they want and when the game opens we can go from there.

i would love to have ashley as a trainer......SHE could carry on the training RPG inside the parthenon. i got my "dark phantasy" idea from her "shadow games" training rpg back in the original ada after all.
 
This sounds great, I don't know them but from the sound of it they will be a more then great addition to the cast :D

Looking forward to getting to know them :)
 
what's next?

well, ive talked with DG and right now she is trying to figure out what she wants to do with her character ..she's a dark faerie and her history is just excellent. shes content with starting at level one for now...and when she decides what she wants to do.....ill go from there.

Ikaris (Gangrel) is going to be a speciality trainer. he will be running training rpgs within MoE.....in the tradition of "shadow games" and "dark phantasy".....but in his....the stakes will be much higher in that players can DIE if they arent smart enough, dont work as a team or dont follow directions. rewards will range from bonus gil/enchantments, tailsmans to promotions and appointments.

Hes putting his ideas together now....and he'll be "borrowing" Limbo for the backdrop of the RPG mostly. ;) when the time comes.....ill let you all know whats going on...i think ill give him and DG access to the War Room when the time comes.

It sounds excellent. :D I think it'll be an honor working with them both, given their history. : grinyes i can't WAIT to see this training rpg i keep hearing so much about.... :D
 
Well I don't feel it's really upto me to make a discision about this since I don't know them and therefor can't judge, right now I like my own things as they are, I'm training very hard and am also active in AHBL, sure I would like to climb the promotion lader (since I am the lowest staff member in level) but I feel time will come... right now being 32 (almost 33) weeks pregnant is my main prioity, I'm tired all the time so I'm not around as much...

You guys decide I trust your judgement.. and will see the outcome when ever it takes efect.
 
dont worry Ri.......hes not changing our training regime at all........its an ADDITION. Titania will still do the focus training sesssions, ill do the full combat, and Ikaris will be doing what Brenthon was meant to do.....only Brenthon is not here right now.


when he returns he will still have his position. :) nothing is going to change.......except for the better.
 
Gangrel is taking back his old name of "Ikaris" and will be a "special guest star" in MoE.

not really a regular member who takes part in training or fighting........but an ally of our coven..he will be his own unique character type and retain the status he had back in the ADA. he will be assisting us with training and development of our members.

i sorta knew that might be the route he took. :)
 
Im moving DG Hecate up to level 4.

shell be assisting Ikaris in his training rpg, and she wants to be able to help fight in AHBL and just be able to hold her own in group settings such as XS or Blaze.

shes definately got the skill. i just wanted to let the staff know. :)
 
I think that's a great idea I can see that she's got great potential and i trust you judgement you've knowing her the longest ;)

Btw Ikaris asked me to be a guest star in one of the realms in his RPG and I said yes :) so look forward to that....
 
yes, ill be guest starring too. so that will be fun for both of us ;)
