Nova and The Dead Celestial of Knowhere

I don't know if any of you have been reading the newest Nova series but the most recent issues brought Nova out of Annihilation Conquest and into a place where every reality be it in the future or past is dying. This place is called Knowhere...and it is the last habitat in creation. Not only that but the habitat is...get this...the severed head of an ancient and very dead Celestial.

A dead Celestial people. Celestials are NOT supposed to die!! Instead of focusing on that stupid little Abyss monster or that dog Cosmo I want to know who or what was capable of severing the head of a Celestial and keep their soul from rengenerating their body! When did it happen? How did it happen? And most importantly who or what was responsible for this impossible act that took place...who knows how long ago. I mean this could the making of the next super cosmic threat.

If the murderer is still alive...then he (or she!!) could come back!! I want to see the Slayer of Celestials!! It's the perfect focus for a third Annihilation! Forget small-minded creatures like Annihilus and Ultron, the true threat to all life is still out there. Possibly hunting and killing each and every Celestial he (or she) comes across!

Personally thats was a big thing for me too. I want to know what has the power to kill a Celestial but knowing marvel that plot line is going no place.

OT but when I starting reading this thread, I thought at first you were talking about that nature show on PBS. lol!

There's a nature show called Nova and The Dead Celestial of Knowhere? Weird...ahem anyways, as BK stated we will probably never know what happened to that mysterious Celestial whose head now sits at the edge of creation riding along a cosmic rip tide that leads straight into oblivion. But one can always hope that someone will pick up that story and spin it into something truly epic. Because whatever killed that Celestial has the potential to be one of the truly greatest threats the Universe...or indeed the Omniverse itself has ever known.

How do I know this...? Because Celestials aren't supposed to be capable of true death like us mere mortals. Sure their bodies can be destroyed if the right circumstances apply but there is none in all the Omniverse save for The Living Tribunal and Jack Kirby (a.k.a. THE ONE WHO IS ABOVE US ALL) who can truly end the life of a Celestial. Whatever did this is an affront to all life and needs to be found before it is too late. To let this storythread hang is a travesty.

Not only that...but from the way the inside of this particular Celestial's head looked I'd almost say this was a prototype Celestial. Anyone who has read older issues of Thor or the Fantastic Four knows that insides of a Celestial's head are usually made purely of organic and electrical energies. Some might say that this head is a typo but think about how old it could truly be...for all we know this Celestial could be the Forerunner of their entire race. I say write to Marvel and let them know that the truth behind the murder of this Celestial must be known to the world!! It is a piece of History that must not fade away.

Everything has to be explained once in awhile BK. Just because it's magic does not mean it is an exception to those laws. Though some people (Quesada) seem to think that they can do that. Plus...the murder of the ancient Celestial was not an act of Magic. Something the size of a Galaxy beheaded that Celestial and stole it's soul (which Cosmic Beings can do without the aid of magic.)

As for Wolverine...that better not turn out to be the reason or I am giving up Comics all-together, because that won't just be one of those "Jumping the Shark" points it'll be more like Jumping the Shark while writing out the equation to figure out the Meaning of Existence on a Super Computer, remembering every detail of your life as a Baby, watching every B-Rated Chick Flick and Horror Genre-related Movies, AND eating Five Hundred Thousand Chili Dogs at the same exact time.

Though knowing how deep Quesada's stupidity might go...I would not put it past him. He'll do anything insane just to get money...much like most of today's "Celebrities."
