:: Cameron looked at his sister and for a second he almost felt like he was with Erika. The two of them discussed everything and he didn't have to be a telepath to know something was wrong with her. He decided to take a chance and actually have a conversation that went deeper than intel on a mission that was coming up for the Six. ::

"Alison are you okay? I know I have been gone for awhile, but you seem changed? We didn't really get a chance to talk while at the Citadle but you seem afraid. To be honest, it somewhat frightens me. I have never seen you like this in my life.."

:: It was a rather strange role reversal. Usually Cameron was the one afraid that the next big bad was going to kill him and it was constantly Alison who kept him out of harm's way. But in NERVOUS, it was Cameron and the others that saved Morgan and Alison. He could understand how that might shake Alison up ::

:: sitting away from Cameron and Alexis...Alison leaned toward the window...and was silent for a moment until Cameron spoke. she hesitated for a moment before looking across the way to him::

....The Super Soldier is coming back. But not like he was before. His CONSCIOUSNESS, his capacity to kill and all other programing is going to be merged/fused with the "master mold" project...the SUPER SENTINEL that I "saw" months ago in a vision. He will be sent to assassinate Alycia Barnett and Senator Sharon Kelly....but this super sentinel will be MORE than a mere robot of gargantuan proportions. He will have a NEW mandate by MysTech...to destroy the people who faciliated the destruction of NERVOUS.

::Alison's tone was strained...it was clear that the trauma of near death by the hands of the Super Soldier had stayed with her.::

Morgan and I nearly DIED the last time we fought him in order to provide the team with time to do sabotage the core of NERVOUS and destroy all data and records of mutants and meta humans on earth. It will be the two of us who are the closest at hand the moment Master Mold attacks Alycia and Sharon..

::and bowing her head...she places her hand on her forehead::

the most probably time thread shows us NOT being able to stop him from achieving his goal and the city itself suffering MASSIVE casualties.

:: the limo arrived at the outside office park of Illustra and went around the bend leading to the underground parking structure....stopping at the same spot that Delilah, Morgan and Alycia had arrived. the trio exited....with Alison exiting FIRST and reaching the elevator. she seemed distressed and not wanting Alexis or Cameron to see her in that state.::

:: Cameron listened to an obviously distressed Alison and as they headed to the office park of Illustra he watched his sister make an apparant break for the elevator before anyone could catch up to her. He turned to Alexis and pulled her aside. Something had to be done. He had never seen his sister like this or Morgan for that matter. ::

"Look. This is really big. We have to make sure we keep a close eye on both Alison and Morgan. We can't let them be alone. Anytime we are gone is a chance the Super Sentinel has to kill all of them. I really wish we could use Haleigh for this, but I am not all too sure if Jasmine isn't a part of this whole thing.."

:: He looked at his clock. It was getting late and he would need to have a conversation with someone very important if he wanted any chance at all of helping out all of the women who Alison saw dead. ::

"I have to make an important phone call, but let's have lunch tomorrow, Lex. Hopefully by then I can think up something..."

[ Delilah sat down next to Morgan on the sectional, and looked her directly in the eye as she spoke. ]

"You are NOT a monster - you cannot start thinking like that. All of us have darkness inside of us. But we overcome it - you have overcome it. You have learned from the past..."

[ She looked around her at all of Blaze's things for a moment, then continued. ]

"This woman - she looks like Blaze, yes - but she isn't Blaze. You said it yourself. This Jasmine person's opinion bears no weight - who cares what she thinks? She doesn't know you, Morgan - Alison, me, Alycia - we do. We know what kind of person you are."

[ Delilah got up to refill Morgan's margarita. She turned back towards Morgan and looked down at her. With a hint of a smile. ]

"And that is someone with a vicious right hook. I mean, did you SEE her FACE when you hit her?!"

in Morgan's penthouse

<< thanking Delilah as she took the second margarita, Morgan listened to her trusted friend's words. straight to the point and truthfull they were... and it did bring some solace to Morgan>>

you have a good point. Jasmine ISNT Blaze....she merelyl used her looks and bloodline to get back at me....I guess i just have to admit that I'm still haunted by Blaze's death...and as well i should be. I'll never forget..nor will i EVER be truly at peace with myself about it. But i cant fall apart. I cant let this become my achillies heel.

and...thank you....i appreciate knowing that there are a few people in this world that arent repulsed by who i am..and my arcane heritage.

<< now sipping this margarita...she sat up a bit as Delilah lightened the mood as she commented on that right hook that Morgan gave to Jasmine. Morgan couldnt help but laugh..but she did stifle some of it as she smiled..looking at her glass>>

well, she DID hit me first.....<< trying not to smile...>> so it WAS only fair, right?

<< she looked over at her friend. her icy violet eyes were a bit misty but there was a definate improvement in her mood and demeanor>>

I guess we'll talk to Alycia tommorow. surely she's devising a strategy to ruin Jasmine AND expose her family to law enforcement officials. Alycia made perfect sense...in Jasmine's attempts to shame and humiliate me, she left herself WIDE OPEN. did Jasmine REALLY think she'd get away with bragging about murdering Blaze's former club manager in front of a COP[Delilah] and an attourney?

Cameron's Apartment - Home Office

:: Cameron sat in his home office and waited for her. It was the night when she would have to spill everything. He had always known there was something she was hiding but when he was a telepath he could never get into certain parts of her brain as if she were more inpenetrable than Morgan or Alison which was something he had never experienced before. Finishing the cigarette in his hand he heard her voice and a smile curled up in his lips. ::

Woman: You know those things are going to kill you don't you?

:: Looking up at the esoteric form of Vivica Lennox he asked her to take a seat in front of his desk. As she did so, Cameron took a deep breath and began. ::

"Look, Vivica. You and I have been friends for as long as I can remember and you are the only person I trust completely with my life..."

:: Breaking his gaze with her ::

"That being said.. there are some things that I absolutely have to know about you. For the sake of everything. For the sake of the Six..."

:: Vivica looked at him with a somber like expression ::

Vivica: Cameron, I really don't think you want to get into this right now... you might not like what you hear...

Cameron: I know more than you think. Haleigh was.. is my best friend. I see how she runs things, how she operates. You two are so similar expect you have a much more polished way of doing things. The odd business trips, the way I can't reach you sometimes for days on end.. Just tell me...

Vivica: Sit down Cameron.. What I am about to tell you can never leave these walls and the fact that I am telling you this puts my own job in extreme jepoardy...

:: Cameron waited ::

Haleigh folded her arms over her chest. Why couldnt Jasmine act like THIS around the others? It would have gotten her a HELL of a lot more satisfying results. Haleigh was GOING to ask Jasmine, and quite nastily, if she had achieved the outcome she wanted.... but it was becoming clear that the girl was remorseful about the turmoil she'd caused. haleigh tensed as Jasmine reached forward but relaxed when she realized that she was just trying to show that her body temperature was higher than it had been. Haleigh leaned against the bathroom threshold in silence. She could tell Jasmine needed someone to JUST listen... and Haleigh was a listener by nature. Her eyes followed Jasmine patiently as she paced. HERE was the potential she had seen in the girl... HERE was the reason she'd tried to defend jasmine initially when Alison and Alexis wanted vengeance.... but it was like a switch had been flipped somewhere within Jasmine's inner workings... this was a side of her she seemed to only be comfortable showing Haleigh... it was kind of frustrating... but Haleigh would take whatever progress she could get... so THIS was how Blaze felt, being the middle man for Haleigh and Morgan. Haleigh took a deep breath as Jasmine turned the 'speaker' position over. She ran through her mind what she was going to say... and then she began, in a stern tone that was measured so as not to be TOO harsh, but commanding enough to get the point across.

"At first... I couldnt understand why you would not just LISTEN to what I was telling you to do... but I think I know what it is... just like Blaze.... you react with your HEART without thinking first with your HEAD. I am the polar opposite... I react with my head and have problems allowing my heart ANY say at all. You need to remember to CONTROL your emotions... you can SEE they got you into a lot of unneccessary trouble."

"My TEAM can only percieve you the way YOU present yourself. IF you had listened to me... IF you had CALMLY interacted with Morgan, and made your case logically and with restraint... Morgan MIGHT have been willing to help you escape your father the way she helped Blaze escape when her Black-ops team tried to terminate her for wanting to defect. Alycia Barnett... COULD have been helpful in your absconcing the Mob's clutches and getting your life back... and granting you LEGAL IMMUNITY... I could VERY EASILY protect you from the Mob and who ever ELSE your father could possibly manage to enlist.... you see... we are a group of very INFLUENTIAL individuals... and we are each heavyweights in our own elements... together we can help you incredibly or hurt you VERY badly. But instead of having the Six on your side, four of them want you DEAD, only ONE is willing to help and their attourney is no doubt preparing to BURY you as we speak. You've GOT to work on your people skills."

"I BROUGHT you here for the safety and comfort of my friends. We cant very well have you roaming the streets like stark-raving lunatic, not knowing if you were going to try to retaliate while they were sleeping... That being said... another reason was for YOUR safety. there are a LOT of people who would see you dead... my friends included. and Who KNOWS what your father would have done to you if his thugs ever got a hold of you.... not to mention that Alycia had probably put out an APB to have you ARRESTED for whatEVER she can get you on, which I am sure is plenty. It is MUCH better for me to have you HERE, in a CONTROLLED environment, than down at the city jail where I'd have to deal with the NYPD yokels."

"I am TRYING to help you but I can't if you wont LET me. Never MIND the way I feel about Blaze, or what my motivations are. FORGET THAT SHIT. YOU need to worry about what YOU are going to do from here on out. You're up the proverbial creek honey."

[ Delilah nodded at Morgan's last statement. ]

"She's certainly arrogant...impulsive...possible irrational. But I don't think we should underestimate her - not until we know more. And we both know someone who has the connections to get us that information: Haleigh."

[ Delilah paused, not exactly sure how to phrase her next statement. ]

"Morgan - are you sure you're not - are you so upset because...well are you feeling that this Jasmine is more Blaze's sister than you are? Because you know that's not true - she didn't even know Blaze. But you will at some point have to deal with the fact that Jasmine is your sister too."

** Emotion leaked from Haleigh's firm words and Jasmine could easily feel them even if she tried to reprimand the young mutant. Her delicate fingers plucked the necklace that nestled against the black tank top, a reminder of who she was and who she lost. **

"My people skills are shitty but Haleigh...all my life I've been TRAINED to attack. I'm like a rabid dog who needs to be put down. Why do I provoke everyone? Quite simply I was asking for a death wish...what's the point in staying alive? I have no one but YOU! Blaze was a woman of character and charisma, I'm clearly not. Even trying to repent is a difficult task but something working inside me is willing to change. You want the REAL story and not some fictional report in my file?"

** She immediately crossed her arms against her chest. She would come clear with Haleigh and the mutant knew the blonde would listen. She would actually let her guard down for the woman. **

"Why am I so obnoxious and cruel? Growing up my father often bashed me until I passed out. He did this when I failed a mission. I'd cry for hours even AFTER he stopped! I'm still haunted by it but I've learned it shut the pain out! When the bashing weren't enough he would do this.." Moving her arm out she showed the girl her visible scars over her forearm. "I was instructed to mark my failures...obviously I have many." She leaned up against the side of the bed post. "my father used my loneliness and my sadness to manipulate me into killing Morgan. He purposely deleted a lot of information about Morgan, my birth right, and Blaze's death! I didn't learn about my birth right until at XS. I was fed a lie for years! All I wanted was to be loved and to succeed. Nothing was good for Victor and my "mother" is a joke! She just sat back and WATCHED my father beat me for hours. I've NEVER spoken of this to anyone instead I buried it. That's why I'm cold and withdrawn and sometimes a little heartless. I didn't see a world out there with caring people who wanted to help me! Everyone I knew wanted something from me whether to fuck me or to kill. How's a girl supposed to feel but NUMB!"

** Hurt formed in those sage green eyes of the mutant as she told the whole story. "I don't expect compassion or even sympathy. I told you this because I wanted you to know the cause and affect of me! When my father stormed the club I instructed him to get out! Not only have I turned my back on the Mob but my adopted father. They WILL come for me Haleigh...Victor will see to it every last person is dead and he won't be satisfied until his daughter is dead. Watching Morgan on stage I realized I made a mistake but I couldn't exactly go 'I'm sorry Morg, I stole your club and fucked you over,' no I had to live with the necessary pain. Do I feel bad? YES, but an apology won't take the pain away. If I tell Morgan I'm sorry she's gonna knock my block off AGAIN and then some! You risk your friendship for these people for me and you shouldn't have to. You may see potential in me but I refuse to let you risk your ass for me...especially with how I treated you." The more Frost talked, the more Haleigh would understand her. **

"I'm not a people person and I'm severely fucked up in the head but I do have a heart believe it or not. Morgan and her friends will bury me...the clock is ticking away. And as much as you want to protect me the wolves will come. I'm not saying I'm innocent either, I've committed many crimes and I deserve to be punished. Did I purposely provoke Morgan? Yes, in the VIP lounge. Why? Because I knew she'd have to get over her sister's death. And I was willingly to tap into that side of her. As demented as it sounds she would have to tackle the issue. It sounds ridiculous I know...but I also knew I couldn't go back in time either. Look at me Haleigh....I'd be one less person to worry about. If Morgan and her friends wanna burn me at the stake LET them. I'm not worth saving, trust me I've yearned for death plenty of times. Its why I place myself in jeopardy, I ask for a death wish." It felt strange explaining this to Haleigh but it was comforting to relieve the skeletons of the closet. **

"But I'm not the problem because there's other sources of dark power who want your group of friends dead. I've heard rumors of a new power in town and they want Morgan. Morgan has collected many enemies over the years especially recently. There's a pretty penny for her head stuffed. And while we're speaking this new organization is planning and forming a plot to destroy all of you INCLUDING yourself. Your linked to Morgan so clearly your an open target. And these special gadgets are worthless because these big guns are coming and their coming fast. They play for keeps....all I'm saying is be careful."

** Her eyes sparkled under the bright lighting of the room. Jasmine remained silent once more thinking to herself. "For the cities sake they must be stopped. I don't know who they are but my father was quivering from talk of them. Victor is a slime ball but nothing scares him except this new group." Tilting her head to the side, "it shouldn't be me in this safe house but Morgan. She's one tough bitch but mark my words she won't see it coming. I tell you this because perhaps I'm hoping to aide you in saving Morgan. Even though I wanted her dead, I owe it to Blaze to see her half sister is alive." She stopped, "oh my God! That means Morgan is my half sister too! Which makes me a target too, fuck!" She cursed loudly. "You must warn Morgan." She was still registering the fact of Morgan being related to her. How karma bit her in the ass. **

Back at Illustra-the top floor

<< Morgan swallowed hard as Delilah asked her that hard but valid question. she set her drink down on the coffee table...and groaned as she sank back in the leather sectional>>

ugh....christopher was a WHORE that much is true. I dont look anything like him...thankfully my mother's traits...AND MAGICK were dominate in my dna. but yes...once again you see clearly.

<< standing up.....Morgan walked away toward the floor to ceiling panoramic window and began to pace slowly back and forth. the more she talked..the more good it did for her....the night sky and wintery effects provided the perfect background for the sorceress as she talked with Delilah>>

i always thought i was an only child. but christopher lied to my mother and i about everything he was so why should i be SURPRISED that he slept around. look what his corruptive influence created. Blaze was entrenched in a black ops organization that nearly "cancelled" her. she found an escape by joining the london based group Valiant where we met...and I personally disposed of the leader of the black ops group. now there's Jasmine who is Blaze's twin.......<< shaking her head with annoyance>> i cant deal with this. I CANT DEAL WITH HER!

<< thunder rumbled in the air and lingered as it rolled and slowly faded>>

Alison said herself that this woman brings a seed of great trouble. I AM upset ....because christopher STILL finds a way to blight my path with his actions. My life was enriched by meeting Blaze...i slipped into the role of "big sister" so easily and happily...and i RUINED IT ALL during Inferno....now....I'm being confronted with a scenario STRAIGHT OUT OF HELL!

I want XS back and i want her OUT OF MY PATH. I can't deal with her...and the trouble that clearly follows her.

<< she turned away ...with her arms folded across her chest in an X pattern...shutting her eyes. she was not ready for this ...the idea of dealing with Jasmine...even LOOKING at her was painfully>>

WHAT am i going to do!?

a floor below- 106th

::Guardian had gotten up to the residential floors far ahead of Alexis and Cameron...her composure was slipping away by the second...as she rushed out of the elevator down the hall of the 106th floor...toward the massive doors of her penthouse. a wooshing/chiming sound is heard as she waves her hand and the doors open at her command and once inside she waves her hand and the doors slam shut with a loud, ominous sound that indicates they are SEALED from any possible entry without her approval.::

::her breathing was heavy....and the look on her face was that of extreme agitation. she was having...a PANIC ATTACK!::

:: closing her eyes she began to flash back in time to those last few moments in NERVOUS...she and Morgan ushering everyone through the disc....and at the last moment as Morgan reaches Alison..the super soldier suddenly APPEARS...and after smashing Morgan in the face and her across the floor.....he IMPALES Alison through her stomach with a Photon javeline. Alison cant scream..she cant fight back...alll she can do is feel the FIRE inside her as she falls back...and everything fades to BLACK::

::she hears sounds of chaos and destruction..and in her luxury loft...Alison begins to relive every terrifying trauma she 's experienced....both as an adventurer and as Guardian.::

::everyone , no matter how strong, powerfull or cold they may be...has a core....and once it is forcibly breached...all the feelings they struggle to contain come forth. the memories flood like torrents of water....and Alison Marble....crumbles on her bed her hands on her head and her eyes shut tightly....DESPERATELY trying to FIGHT BACK and regain control of herself. but for all her power...her psi screen....she is still HUMAN and suffering from the trauma::

:: Stunned by what Alison had told both her and Cameron during their car ride home from XS, Alexis kept quiet. It was the hardest caper to date; Nervous. And she couldn't believe that the super solider was still alive after everything that had been done. Stepping out of the car, Alexis' heals clicked softly on the pavement as she followed a very distraught Alison to the elevators. Feeling a gentle tug on her arm, Lex stopped and turned to Cameron..walking a few steps away from Alison, she nodded, agreeing with what he had to say. It was true, they had to keep a good eye on both Alison in Morgan, regardless of the fact that if Alison and Morgan couldn't take it out at Nervous, then how the hell would Alexis or Cameron stand up to it. Watching Cam walk away, Alexis watched as the doors opened to the elevator. Taking a few long strides forward, she jumped inside with Alison. Taking a step back, Alexis allowed her back to rest against the silver walls of the elevator...looking at the back of Alison's head, she hesitated a moment before speaking. ::

"Do..you want to join me for some tea? I think we both need a little relaxation after tonight’s events."

:: It was strange how Alexis was reaching out to Alison, especially after their history with one another. But it seemed appropriate, especially seeing as how Cameron left and it was "her turn" to watch Alison. Feeling the elevator slow down to a stop, Alexis stepped forward,, stopping aside of Alison and looked to the woman. ::

"Or liquor....liquor can sooth the body too."

:: With a bit of a humorous tone, Alexis smiled softly to Alison trying to lighten the mood by making a joke. Hell, she was doing the best she could, so hopefully Alison would make an effort as well. But as soon as the door opened, Alison was rushed out in a flash. Taken aback, she too stepped off the elevator watching as Alison practically ran down the hallway and to her penthouse. Watching as the doors flew open and Alison disappeared, the sudden SLAM of the doors sent a jump throughout Alexis’ body. Sighing, the blonde too a few steps forward, stopping at her door. She wanted to see if Alison was alright, but she knew that the woman would want to be alone in a time like this. Especially when she was known for keeping herself "calm" around others. Opening the doors to her own penthouse, she stepped inside and closed the door behind her. Making her way through the dark livingroom and down the hall, Alexis disappeared into her bedroom. ::

Haleigh listened quietly, her expression troubled as she heard about Jas' childhood. She reached out and grasped the girl's wrist when she displayed her forearm... Haleigh frowned... no one should be raised that way.

"Your FATHER.... is a creep... and somehow... his abuse of you doesnt surprise you. No doubt he was displacing his own insecurities by demeaning you. Don't you sweat it.... Victor Klein WILL get whats coming to him. That I will be SURE of."

"AND another thing.... I am a GROWN ass woman and I make my OWN decisions and evaluate my OWN risks. If I want to put my ass on the line for you... I WILL... and there's not a damn thing you can do except make SURE you do your part to make my job easier."

Haleigh shook her head and tried to reassure Frost... there WERE certain things she could help with.... and though she DIDNT know HOW she'd managed it... she could at least attempt to warm Morgan to the idea.

"Don't you worry about Morgan.... she's upset now... give her TIME to come around to the idea of you... I will talk to her... see if I can't smooth things over. But Jasmine.... Death isnt the answer to all your problems... and it isnt nearly as glamorous as you would think... believe ME, I know... I've BEEN there. You must FACE the music.... you have created problems that you will have to deal with... or you will forever be weighted down with the turmoil of the unresolved issues."

Haleigh listened with intrigue as Frost went on about something that loomed over them.... and with every passing second, Frost was becming MORE and MORE worked up about it. Haleigh remained calm and tried to help Jasmine settle down.

"Whoa whoa.... slow down.... Morgan is SAFE and SO are you... you're under my protection now.... Morgan and the rest of the group reside in Illustra which is ALSO under my protection. Who... what?" Haleigh pauses to allow Jas to explain as much as she can before nodding. "Okay... I'll tell you what.... If you are THAT concerned.... I'll have a talk with Morgan about her safety and Alison about what she sees for us in the future, alright? Now I WOULD tell you to get some rest but you'll be bouncing off the walls for a while.... I'm going to release you for a 48 hour reprieve. I want you to get RID of anything you compiled on me and my companions... burn those files. Collect your belongings from your place IF you can.... and then return to the Liquid Crystal Images tower. My assistant Jennifer will reassign you a holding cell like this one.... and you will STAY here until I can get back with you. Do NOT attempt to contact any of the Six.... if there's an immergency... get a hold of me.... watch your back... who KNOWS what your father has gone and done so far." Haleigh's expression darkened, and her tone turned from soothing to serious. "But be WARNED.... I will have people checking up on you frequently... if you fail to do as I have asked... you will be picked up.... and returned to a... less HOSPITABLE holding cell for noncompliance."

[ Delilah walked over to Morgan and hugged her friend. She had been through enough in recents months - she didn't need this right now. ]

"What you do is let us deal with it. Alycia will take care of the club, I can bring charges against her for the death of the manager. You don't need to see her until you're ready - even if that's never. But Morgan -"

Cameron's Apartment - Office

< Vivica took a deep breath and tried to figure out where to begin to Cameron what she fully knew about the Six and how she even came to be his friend. Would he take it well or would he tell the others compromising her entire status within the government. She had to do it. Their friendship was worth more than her status. It was time. >

"Cameron, it was no accident that we met each other so many years ago. I was assigned to you as were five other agents to the other members of the Six. My Official title is Agent Vivica Lennox, Director of Omega-4 branch of Special Research within the Central Intelligence Agency. With the growing power of Mystech and the subsequential disasters they caused led the CIA to create a top secret branch known as Omega-4..."

< Turning away she began to replay the past in her forehead. Befriending Cameron, keeping an eye on him all the while becoming such a good confidant and friend. It was hard for her to tell him. She never wanted to ruin what they had, but he obviously needed to help the Six and that had been her mission statement all along. >

"I headed up the branch because of my expertise and intel on the world of magick and mutants. My first case was known only as No. 6. Through double agents inside Mystech we were able to learn of the prophecy of the Six. We figured out who the members of the group would be and we were each assigned a member to watch over. To protect. To ensure that the power of the Six would be constituted. I was assigned to you. Jennifer was assigned to Haleigh. AJ to his sister Alexis and so on. Each were a prominent but distant figure in one of the Six's lives..."

< She looked at him and his gaze was almost blank. Either he understood or he was so mad he couldn't dictate emotion. >

"I however got close to you. But you have to understand Cameron, that is not something I regret at all. My friendship to you is the most important thing in the world to me. If you really are my friend and you really want to help the Six you need to tell me what's going on. You can hate me for the rest of your life after, but I will continue my work with the Six, I have spent many years ensuring the work of the Six is for the right reasons..Cameron King, stop looking at me like that and tell me what's going on!"

I'm glad your here. you, alison, alycia..you're family to me.

<< her voice cracked a bit>> thank you.

are you...OKAY with staying in Blaze's apartment? i know you and she became close when you replaced me on Valiant....

Protective cell to Jasmine's Apartment

"Fair enough." And so it seemed Jasmine would comply with Haleigh after all. Maybe Frost managed to hit her head from the brutal blow from Morgan while at XS. It was anyone's guess but Jasmine. She pushed her weight off the post of the wooden bed, "I have important files at my place...unlike the office that Alexis so diligently unlocked this one is much more complicated but I'll feel safer when those files are in my hands." Scooping up her plastic Starbucks cup, she turned to Haleigh again and nodded, "yes your one formidable Metamorph. I'll leave you to your business. I'll be back in less than 48 hours but if I'm not...assume something came up. I'm always punctual."

** Sitting the cup on a small dresser she grabbed warmer clothing for outside. It would most likely be snowing, it usually was. Jasmine seemed troubled though and this time she didn't speak about it. Gathering heavier clothing Jasmine was released from Haleigh's care. But this time she masked her identity with some of Haleigh's specialty equipment. **

** Returning to her apartment she walked around back, walking up the fire escape not trusting the doors. Her boots light and balanced when she saw nothing. Slipping inside she moved towards the office when she stopped short cocking her head to the side. Inhaling the air, she raised a brow. **

"Hello Victor."

[ Delilah looked down at her hands. She had come back to Illustra to be there for Morgan after the death of her sister, but she hadn't counted on herself being so affected by Blaze's memory. ]

"I'm not going to lie - when I first agreed to move into her apartment, I didn't think it through. I was honored that you asked me. But now...I see her everywhere... It is difficult yes, but...I think it's something I need to deal with. That I wasn't there for her when she needed me - when you all needed me. And I don't want to forget her. So I think I need to stay - but if it hurts you to have me living there, I can be back in my old apartment in an hour."

The chop of prop blades through the air warned anyone who was aware enough to listen that Haleigh was returning to Illustra... and as they approached the building, Haleigh noticed lights on the 95th floor.... her curiosity peaked, she wondered who could POSSIBLY have such important business at just past two AM. Haleigh checked the security cameras... Morgan and Delilah were in her suite and Alison appeared to be sleeping on the floor below... Cameron was in his office with Vivica on HIS floor... and Alexis was in her apartment as well. Haleigh's next move was to check the 95th floor cameras.... but the Helicopter landed and she was snapped back to reality.... that could wait.... Haleigh needed to talk with Alison about what Jasmine had eluded to... it could be important and even if it wasnt... it was better safe than sorry.

Haleigh knocked on Alison's door loudly to stir her from her sleep. Alison probably wouldnt be too happy about that... but that was just tough... If they all really WERE in danger... it would be worth it. Haleigh knocked again to no avail... she tapped into the security cameras to see if Alison was getting up... she wasnt moving... in fact... she seemed UNNATURALLY still. "ALISON??" Haleigh called in an alarmed tone.

106th floor- Alison's

::Alison had been on her bed for a while now....the worst of the panic attack had passed....but she hadnt done a very good job in controlling the situation. it was the FIRST TIME she had ever experienced something like this. a painfull irony for a precog who was used to being able to control the situations she was in. BUT what she may not have fully realized was just how deeply traumatized she had been by her experience in NERVOUS. it was something she'd HAVE to deal with soon if she were to be as effective as she needed to be...as the TEAM needed her to be.::

::and now, with a loud knocking at her massive front double doors....Haleigh was there. the woman who had been instrumental in saving Alison from certain death. they hadnt interacted since reaching the safety of Ororo's citadle in Limbo where Alison was restored and nurtured back to health. but it appeared that the moment for those two was now at hand.::

:: Alison's cobalt blue eyes opened up wide... and she began to stir. finally getting up but not bothering to turn on any lights...she didnt need them after all for she "saw" things clearly even without light. she made her way to the doors and lowered her TK shield ...opening them as she stood there wrapped in darkness..her cobalt blue eyes glowed a bit against the blackness around her::

yes? what is it Haleigh?

::her tone was cold but not as abrasive as normal::
