You can't post in html on the boards - you just have to remove the code when you cut and paste that stuff. You can use tags [img ][/img] for images though instead
Yeppers, most of the things you can do with HTML you can do with VB code Use the following link to see all of the vB codes that we offer here at Screen-Gems: http://www.screen-gems.net/misc.php?do=bbcode
oh wow....SORRY!! lol U guys are speaking Whatdafugg-anese right now lol...I was just tryin to post the "flavour" and it said to copy n paste right...so I did that and it didnt convert. So with the smidgen of knowlege I know about computers I ASSUMED that it had something to do with the HTML thingy being off. So what u all are sayin...I have NO CLUE what u mean, lmao! Removing codes, and vB this and that....que?????
Sincerely, Kumputeria Illitericia III AKA Cyber Blondie
On most message board the option to use HTML in posts is turned off because it can interfere with the layout of the board and cause errors and all sorts of nasty stuff So instead you get a special code used on message boards that takes the place of HTML. It works basically the same way as HTML except you use [ ] instead of < >.
For example, to make text into a link your vB Code would look like this (removing the * of course):
[*url=http://www.yahoo.com]Yahoo![/url]
To post images, use the image tag instead of the HTML string:
[*img]http://www.blah.com/image_url[/img]
The link I posted in the other post will show you the other vB code tags that can be used. That help ya out or do you still need it broken down a bit more?
Awwww, thank u so much for breakin it down, that whaz nice of u...
SO let me get this straight, U just said "Hey Ms Illitericia, dont eva eva eva try to post anything other than text" right? Yeah, thats a good suggestion...THANK U KINDLY SIR *MWUAH*
