Damn! 2016 has not been kind to our pop culture and entertainment figures.

No it hasn't. The theme song to Growing Pains is my favorite television theme song of all time and he actually wrote it. I grew UP on that show. He will be missed.

It's odd when you hear about people that died and think "didn't they die already?" I could have sworn that he died earlier. Maybe it was some other TV dad.
