Gathering together

Nicolas listened with a small inward smile as she dressed Cameron down. Knowing him, this was the oldest trick in the book. But Dominique was an older and experienced woman and it COULD backfire.

She had so many questions for him and while he understood the questions, he had very few answers. What he did have was the personal appeal he could and did make to his aunt. And while he could feel her anger with Set and her grief over his mother's death, he could also feel in her hands the care she came to have for him.

Your mother, my sister...even after what Set did to her...she found a strength of courage, a serenity to accept carrying you inside of her and giving birth even at the cost of her life because she believed in you...that kind of courage...that strength of spirit...even now, with the power that i possess...:: her heart seemed to SKIP a bit as she struggled to control the GRIEF rising up inside of her::

...i feel that SHE had a greater power than I ever did. I will do what i can to not only help you and Harbinger, but to HONOR my sister, your mother's memory.

Now go and do NOTHING until you hear from me, is that clear?

He knew that Isis could track him through their familial bond as easily as picking up a phone.

Yes ma'am. I will be gathered with the Six and waiting for you. But I want you to know something.

I would never leave you to ANYTHING like some commoner. I was set to call you and speak with you about this transaction after your performance no matter what. I would never allow you to be disrespected. I accept that your feelings concerning me are...complicated and that I symbolize a horrible event in your life. But you will always be my aunt. I will always be grateful for your efforts on my behalf and I will not allow you to come to harm simply for my sake. You are also at risk as your powers wane. If I do not hear from you in 180 minutes, I will come looking for you. Be well Auntie D.

His voice was neither haughty or disrespectful, but earnest and intense. His speech was marked by the care and concern he had for his aunt.

Nicolas smiles and lets go of her hand as he disappears....

....reappearing in the courtyard. He sees the light on in Mike's apartment and comes to the door knocking.

Parthenon Hotel - Outside Dressing Room

Like dangling meat in front of a lion. He knew that last part would infuriate Dominique and in fact he was almost counting on it. With women like her, you sweet and compassionate may have been what they wanted to marry but when it came to "other things" The things that angered them were in fact some of the things that secretly turned them on.

Isis: If you will excuse me, Cameron. My NEPHEW was here first and I will speak with him PRIVATELY. But OUR conversation is FAR from over, is that clear?

"Oh it's FAR from over, honey..." He thought to himself.

Cameron stepped outside giving Dominique and her nephew a moment to speak in private. However, feeling the urgency and worry of Nicolas who was usually very cool, calm and collected, he might have left the room physically, but there was no way he was not listening at the door.

Nicolas: Circe is set to return from the Underworld...

Good God. The woman had left such a WAKE of destruction in her last appearance that Cameron became instinctively worried about his sister and Morgan. The other magick users, he was less apt to care about. He had a long history when it came to WOMEN in MAGICK and it had taken him this long to even consider trusting Morgan and even his own sister.

He heard about Alison's vision and about the group coming together on Aerie, and he heard about the threat of not only CIRCE but SET. This make his skin crawl. He also knew that with the coming events, he HIMSELF would have to return to Los Angeles far sooner than he had thought. But first, he knocked once again on Dominique's door.

"Unfinished Business...Party of One..."

Morgan: You're warning tonight may help make all the difference. I'm so glad to see you, to know that you're OKAY and in one piece. I know you have to go find your mother...and HECATE, whom I can't sense EITHER. Stay in contact with me or Alison and I will handle things on this end.

"Of course."

Morgan moved in for a hug and Ava welcomed the embrace. Giving her a gentle squeeze, she smiled softly.

Morgan: Be careful, my friend, and hurry back to us. We will need your help.

"I will. Stay safe."

Ava said protectively as she broke the embrace. Stepping away from Morgan, the elemental goddess' ebony hair began to blow across her body as a tornado of winds enveloped her, and she disappeared from Melrose Place.
