:: Euthalia stood back as the beast self-destructed, she held her head in discomfort. ::

"God, this feeling sucks. We really need to get out of here fast like Sati and Toby said. I mean I don't know about you but self-destructing won't help me at all."

:: She said looking around for any possible way of escape the group could use. ::

:: Kurama just looks on as he feels his own power exponentially rising. He watches the beast explode with a look of pure shock on his face ::

"Ok um hmm how should we work this? I mean we do need to get out of her I feel I am about to explode out of my skin. I think the faster we get out of here the better. Now where should we get to?"

:: Rama looked to the others for answers ::

Having been distracted by the battle against the creature, no one had heard the faint sounds of flute, harp and drum music that floated to them from the distance. Once calmed down some, they can barely make it out, but decide to try to find the source of the music as it must mean some sort of intellegent life is in the area and it may hold the answer to getting out of here.

Following the sounds they soon come to the edge of the forest. Ahead of them lies a great field filled with tents, stalls and wooden wagons and fenced about with a waist high picket fence. It is a blaze of color and noise. The music has grown louder and they can see various types of Faeries, goblins, elves and an occasional troll and ogre milling about. Cautiously, they approach a gate that leads into the field. Above the gate sits a hand painted sign covered with faded lettering.

WELKUM TWO THE GOBLIN MARKETTE.
THEEVES WIL BEE PUNISHED!

"Hmm. . . not hard to see what the IQ level of Goblins isn't it?"

:: Euthalia said watching the sign and opens the gate catiously. ::

"So shall we descend into the next realm?"

:: Maia, being a Siren, loved the music... She couldn't resist the beautiful noise that lingered through the forest, leading them to the Goblin market. Raising a finely shaped eyebrow, she stopped in her tracks, shaking her head a bit, glancing back at the rest of the group, with Sati by her side. She had gotten a little more attached to Sati ever since she rescued her back at the battle with the beast. She had forgotten all about Sydney, but she hoped the Gossamer and her were ok. She shrugged and rethrew her pack over her shoulder, sighing softly as she read the sign ::

"Huh..."

:: She looked at the sign, smirking ::

:: Kurama heard the music and allowed himself to float over to the source. He had one of the biggest smiles on his face as he turned to the others ::

"Um can anyone say, shopping spree?"

:: He was giddy but knew in the back of his mind it was highly doubtful they would have the time for his favorite pastimes ::

Entering the Market they come face to face with two very large Trolls, one of whom jerks his thumb towards a sign behnd him that reads:

Weapons are forbidden in the Market. Present any weapon to the Peacekeepers for proper securing. Thank you--Mgmt

The Troll growls at everyone: "Whatsamatta? Can't chu reed?"

He puts his ham like hand on the large club that had been leaning at his side and smiles menacingly.

:: Feels cautious when they enter the market. When the two trolls came up to them he felt like he wanted to use his powers to kill these beasts. ::

"Er...more to the point, can you actually write correctly? Because if we were able to read, we still wouldn't be able to understand what you have written..."

:: Smiles sweetly ::

:: Sati's eyes flicked over to the sign, taking in what it read in an instant. As Tobias spoke, her gaze snapped sharply to him, quite surprised by what he had said. Despite her own jumpy, high feelings, her need for speed, and the slight giddiness apparent in all those around her, she had enough sense to know that the last thing they wanted was to pick a fight in a goblin market... Even though she herself could blend in with no trouble at all, the others were not going to be able to hide so easily. She laid a gentle, restraining hand on Tobias's arm as she smiled sweetly at the goblins ::

"No problem... right, guys?"

:: She withdrew her sais cautiously, and spun them around in her hands, so that the handles were facing the goblins, and extended them, a peace offering to the goblins, half relieved and half concerned that her best weapons were hidden within herself ::

Bash the Troll looks suspiciously at Tobias, squinting at him with his beady little eyes.

"Are you makin' fun of me? 'Cause if you are, then me an' ole Margie here(patting his club) are gonna have to teach ya some mannerin'."

Sati's handing over her weapons for securing, distracts Bash's attention from Tobias(Trolls being notorious for short attention spans). He lifts his club and taps Sati's sais gently causing them to glow softly.

"Dere ya go, pretty lady! You're all set. You're weapons can't be used to harm anyone within the Markets borders, outside they work like normal. If you are looking for food and drink then try the Fountain of Ale, down on Trinket Row, the food is especially tasty for you human types and my cousin Hannah is a waitress there. Tell her Bash sent you and she will take care of ya right proper. Maybe I could meet up with ya later and give ya a proper tour of the place?"

The big Troll winks at Sati and gives her a big toothy grin filled with hope and promise.

"Right...."

:: Maia didn't see any harm in giving the Goblins her weapons to check, as long as they weren't permenantly useless. She took out her sais and Assassin blade, laying them gently on the table for the Goblin. She still eyed the little creatures suspicously ::

:: Blinking a little as the troll smiled at her, she forced a smile, despite being slightly revolted by the goblin's offer, she considered the fact that it may come in useful in the future. Smiling gently, she moved a short way beyond the goblin, looking at Maia with amused, raised eyebrows ::

"Thanks for the offer, but I don't know if we'll be staying long."

:: Turning slightly, she rolled her eyes when she was out of view of the trolls, then shot a warning glance at Tobias. They had narrowly averted trouble a few moments ago, she just hoped that he would go along with the goblins now ::

*She caught her blade as it flew back to her, and then took cover as the giant creature exploded. Hearing soft music, she turned around, noticing the marketplace and smiled, looking at everything. As they reached the troll booth, she watched Tobias and Sati interact with the creature about weapons. She shrugged, and as it had done nothing to Sati, she took out her blade and fighting fans, and her short sword, showing them to the troll.*

"There you go...is that fine?"

Bash the Troll grins even more as Sati responds to him. None of the human like woman ever treat him kindly, usually its looking down their noses at him like he was a piece of garbage. Maybe this one was interested enough since she was being so nice. He grins goofily at her and distractedly secures each of the weapons as they are presented to him. His distraction isn't enough however to prevent his noticing that some members of the group had yet to present their weapons and Bash took his job very seriously.

:: Quite shocked at what he said himself he looked sheepishly at Sati. He had definately thought about saying that to the trolls but normally he wouldn't of said bluntly what he was thinking at any rate. He hands over his axe to Bash ::

"Er...nice cloak..."

:: Looks at the goblins cloak, but hides his repulsion ::

"Did you get it in this market? I was thinking of getting one myself, it has went a bit chilly..."

:: Watches as Bash makes his axe glow and mumbles a thankyou when he hands it him back ::

:: Rama pulls out his whip with a airy and showy flourish and hands it to Bash ::

"Here you are sir"

:: Euthalia took out her dagger and let out a giggle. ::

"Oohh.. Sati looks like teh troll was checking you out."

:: She said when they were out of his hearing distance. She continued walking up. ::

"So where to first, group?"

Ahead of the group stands a signpost with arrows pointing in different directions. On each of the arrows is writing. The arrows read:
Trinket Row
Aisle of Enchantments
Walkway of Illusions
Pet Managerie
The Armoury

Scrawled on the signpost pointing towards the ground is more writing. You are Here!

:: Sati screwed her nose up at Euthalia's remark ::

"Ugh... don't remind me."

:: She looked carefully at the sign, pausing slightly as she considered what they were looking for and what they were trying to do ::

"What do you think? At the moment, I'm considering Trinket Row... It sounds like we might find what we're looking for there. But then again..."

:: She let her sentence trail off, looking at the others to discover their opinions ::

:: Rama looked at the sign with devilish gleam in his eyes ::

"So many choices guys. Well I guess we could just split up though I do wish there were two of me so I could go to both Trinket Row and The Armoury. Hmm so should we all stay together or split up?"
