As much fun as Persephone had with Alek in the Underworld, she was ready to leave. The bad memories were starting to overshadow the good ones they just made, and she didn't want that happening. She didn't want to feel anything but happy with Alek. So Persephone looked up at him, asking him if they could go home.
Alek: "Whatever you want baby."
He leaned down and kissed her tenderly, making Persephone's heart flutter and her body melt into his touch. This was why she loved him. No matter how she was feeling, he always could make her better with the simplest of actions.
Alek: "A nap and a swim? Or maybe wine...and takeout?"
He brushed her hair away from her face and Persephone smiled softly.
"Wine and takeout sounds perfect."
She murmured between them before pressing her lips against his. And within seconds, a tornado of wind enveloped them both and they were swept away from the dark, depraved world of the Underworld, and were soon standing back in their bedroom in Santorini. The sun warm and bright. The mood and atmosphere a stark contrast to where they once were. But it was home. And it felt like home.
Breaking the kiss, Persephone held his face within her hands as she looked up at him.
"You call for food and i'll grab the wine?"
Giving him a small peck, Persephone walked toward the bedroom door, picking up her silk robe as she went. Wrapping it around her body, she tied it shut and tossed Alek his boxers. Heading downstairs, she immediately went to the kitchen to grab a bottle of red while Alek called and ordered the food. Opening the bottle, she took two glasses over to the couch and sat down, pouring them both some. Sitting back, Persephone stared forward getting lost in thought while waiting for Alek. Holding her glass of wine close to her mouth, her eyes remained focused on nothing but mind vividly remembering her agonizing screams that echoed the halls of the castle. Slowly blinking, she took a long sip of her wine wanting the alcohol more than the taste at that point.
Feeling Alek sit down, she looked over to him and gave him a small smile.
"So, what did you end up ordering?"
