St. Patrick's garden

:: expected a strong and pronounced reaction to this. even super powered beings had to accept the seeming finality of death. SHE had to with her x-men. but there were always exceptions to nearly EVERY rule. HALEIGH of all people should have known that or at least REMEMBERED it every time she saw the face she NOW wore in the mirror...versus the one she started out with.::

:: the immortal weather witch stood fast as Haleigh went from shock and disbelief to accusing Ororo of a joke. Ororo could be cited for MANY things..but a cruel sense of humor was not among them and her stone faced look of DISAPPROVAL to Haleigh's remarks was as clear as the day itself. her hair continued to blow in the breeze as Haleigh railed against what she couldnt believe to be happening.::

Ororo: You've made errors in judgement before, and erroneous statements to match. THIS latest one certainly ranks near the top. I did not come here to amuse myself at your expense. i am BEYOND such things in case you forgot.

YOU YOURSELF stand here in a body that was not the one you were BORN with, and yet you can't fathom the possibility that Cameron MIGHT have been saved from total oblivion at the hands of Malice and Erika?

:: she allowd Haleigh to continue to move through the roller coaster of emotion and reaction. the next move would have to be Cameron's but for HER part..she was not about to suffer any kind of rebuke for this. it was NOT something she had to do in the first place and again, the spectre of ERIKA had left her MORE than perturbed and this was the first time Haleigh or any other person from the Six had seen her SINCE that caper in greece.::

I would not be here to cause you harm for that would make me NO BETTER than HIS sister..

The Cathedral

:: Cameron half expected this reaction, even though every part of him wanted it to be different. He had somehow pictured an embrace, a kiss, tears and walking hand in hand into the sunset. He didn't know, he just thought that Haleigh would understand what he went through, having gone through pretty much the same thing herself. He countered her points, calmy and collectively. Somebody had to stay calm in the situation and it was not going to be Haleigh, he knew that much. ::

"Haleigh! I know this is hard, but it is the TRUTH, doll. You can pout and cry and the whole shebang, Haleigh. Ororo did this to HELP me, not hurt you, this whole thing is NOT about doing something to YOU, Haleigh, it was about HELPING ME! I was tortured at the hands of my SISTER and MALICE, a woman who MORE than almost caused the fall of the SIX, I was DEAD, something you were too, NOT TOO LONG AGO!"

:: He knew harsh words would be the only thing that might break through to her, she needed to be shaken, kept in reality before she just lost it, and if that met he had to PISS her OFF, then so be it. Haleigh and Cameron knew each other like the back of their hands, and nobody, not even ZACH :p could say that about the woman. Cameron continued alongside Ororo's words. ::

"Again, Ororo did what she felt she needed to do, the same thing YOU would have done. I mean seriously, Haleigh, if you KNEW you could bring me back, would you NOT have tried? Would you have left me for dead and gone off into the sunset with Mr. Goodbar over there? NO! You know it as well as I do, YOU WOULD HAVE SAVED ME! Don't get mad at Ororo, don't get mad at the world! BREATHE! Take it in. I...am...back. End of story."

:: Cameron stood there looking at her with open eyes, waiting for what would either be understanding or another emotional outburst, he was ready to argue until the cows came home, at least that way she would KNOW he was really back. ::

across town- soho

<< across town in the trendy soho district, Morgan sat poised in her seat across Nicolas at a covered table at a trendy and exclusive cafe. she kept her white rimmed, "over sized" , rounded escsada sunglasses on as she primped in her estee' lauder compact. there were some whispers and looks for not only was she recognizable, but Nicolas had begun to gain a following in NYC for something OTHER than what he was familiar with due to his triumphant debut as Illustra's signature male model. the sight of them TOGETHER was sparking a faint buzz of speculation. paparazzi were clamering as close as security would allow them which gave Morgan, Nicolas and other "high profile" patrons comfortable distance.>>

<< the breeze was flowing but it wasnt such that they had to be moved inside...>>

Mother should be arriving soon. She had to stop at her office for a moment.

<< Morgan said with an icy voice as she looked up from her compact.>>

despite it being so gray out, its a very mild day..the breeze feels so good.

<< putting her compact away, she closes her purse and crosses her leg at the knee.>>

I wonder how Ava and Delilah are doing today. I'll want to look in on them...it seems like we've all been a little muted since....Alison left.

<< Morgan missed Alison terribly, and this morning's events didnt do much but to TEMPORARILY take her mind off of Alison's absence.>>

I really miss her....

<< the wind whistled a bit and a sparrow landed on the rail nearby Morgan. the bird seemed to stare at Morgan, while SHE herself was trailing off with thoughts about her best friend. the bird tilted its little head every which way...fluttering its wings a bit, still keeping a peculiar gaze on the sorceress. Morgan herself , despite her sunglasses, began to look rather sad.>>

i still...dont know why SHE had to be the one.

There's also the matter of her position..as VP of operations at Illustra not to mention her own substantial portfolio. HOW am i going to REPLACE her?

<< it bothered her that she had even REACHED this point in life. the idea of REPLACING Alison in any capacity! meanwhile ANOTHER sparrow landed next to the one already there....this one jostling the other one a bit as they both fixated on Morgan.>>

back at Illustra

<< and as Morgan laments Alison's absence, she seems to wrapped up to notice that SHE is now the object of a most unlikely pair of "fans". She mentioned Ava and back at Illustra, a sleek black van pulls up in the circular drive around now clean and clear office park of Illustra.>>

<< the insignia belongs to, Cloud 9, one of the most exclusive celebrity photography agencies on the east coast. they sometimes partner with Liquid Crystal Images to meet deadlines for projects that are mutually beneficial. its an unofficial partnership that has bolstered BOTH companies and helped Illustra Inc. as well. However, due to a clerical error, the photographer arrives at Illustra on a SATURDAY when there's no reception available so after waiting a few minutes, the young man check's his palm pilot and looks up a contact number.>>

<< Ava Cassadine>>

<< dialing the number, he waits for an answer.>>

Soho

<< Doctor Victora arrives and valets her car. wearing simple brown Escada clingy sweater and coordinating pencil skirt with brown, leather high heels, Karen's blonde hair is styled in a perfect, bouncing , side parted , "flip" do. her short jacket giving her a more youthfull and contemporary kick to her otherwise classic outfit, she waits at the podium.>>

Karen Victoria said:
Doctor Victoria. I'm here to meet my daughter, Morgan Victoria? I believe they have a reservation.

<< she is soon escorted to where Morgan and Nicolas are sitting. >>

:: Ava was surprisingly having a nice time with Delilah. Both woman seemed to have things in common which made the conversation flow smoothly throughout the brunch. Just as Ava was making a toast to new friendships, her landline phone began to ring. ::

"Excuse me for a moment."

:: Excusing herself from the table, Ava crossed the diningroom and entered the livingroom where one of her landline phones was located. Looking at the caller ID, it was Anton Lavoisier, the photographer who she was supposed to be doing a photoshoot with on Monday. ::

"Hello?"

Manhattan: St. Patrick's Cathedral

Ororo was right.... and Haleigh rubbed her temples, breifly shutting her eyes. People had come back before... SHE had.... morgan had.... blaze had.... in FACT... of all people, Haleigh should be the MOST receptive to this idea... for who ever REALLY stayed dead in their circle? but even this realization didn't make it any easier.

"I know.... I know... You're right.... I'm sorry.... I shouldn't have...."

She could barely put together a full sentence... but she tried to apologize for unfound accusations. She looked up slowly at Cameron.

"It's just--"

Cameron made a case for himself, and Haleigh furrowed her brow, rising out of her seat and standing up to him.

"YOURE GODDAMN RIGHT ITS HARD! It WAS HARD!" She growled, slowly advancing on him, pointing her finger at him as he continued. Cameron DID now how to reach Haleigh, though, and they seemed to come together as if they were NOT arguing about him dying, but rather, anything ELSE... "And do you know WHY, Cameron?? Because I let GO of you. When we found out you died.... when we had your FUNERAL... I let you go. [quietly] I HAD too..."

They were standing close now... and Cameron posed a rhetorical question... one that Haleigh felt she NEEDED to answer. "OF COURSE I would, Cameron! OF COURSE! I would have done ANYTHING to get you back!"

She replied fervently... but as Cameron insulted Zach, with palpable hostility, Haleigh SLAPPED him, fixing Cameron with a silencing glare. Her voice wasn't loud.... but her tone was deafening. "Zachary is a GOOD man. He was THERE for me when YOU weren't.... in EVERY way that YOU refused to be! [disbelieving laugh] You don't GET it, do you? I'm NOT mad at HER [ gesturing to Ororo].... that was misplaced.... the person i'm REALLY mad at... is [poking him forcefully in the chest] YOU. [poking him again] You LEFT me... without ONE WORD, [poke] you ABANDONNED me... and it REALLY hurt... because... it's not the FIRST TIME something like that has left me cold and alone.... but THIS time... I had Zach to turn to.... so don't YOU be mad at HIM... because [poking him one last time] YOU made YOUR bed.... and I was never in it."

Haleigh held his eye contact, as Zach looked on, feeling a little vindicated and relieved. He wondered if this meant Cameron was no longer a threat.... but doubted it.... for some reason... he KNEW Haleigh still loved Cameron... and that was why she was MAD at him now....

Outside of Illusta

<< the young man heard a clear and distinct voice. he hoped he wasnt dealing with another starlet diva who thought she was MORE than she really was.>>

photog: good afternoon, I'm Anton of Cloud 9, the photography studio contracted by Illustra and Liquid Crystal. I'm here to meet with Miss Cassadine.

<< as the young man waited, several black birds perched rather hurridly on a large sculpture in the office park. he didnt think much at first, until he noticed their starring at him so intently. it almost looked like their EYES were glowing. and suddenly he realized just how open this area was...and that there were birds perched up on various buildings surrounding illustra. ROWS of them.>>

The Cathedral

:: Cameron's face fell back at the touch of Haleigh's hand slapping in the face. And for what? Zach's sake? He was a good man? So the fuck what? She didn't really love him, she didn't really love him, she was settling. She was doing what she thought was the right thing, moving on, and Cameron wasn't having it AT ALL. ::

"I wasn't there for YOU!? Don't EVEN play that card with me, HALEIGH! DON'T EVEN! (laughs) Let's not forget how EMOTIONALLY unavailable you have been to me since day ONE! You sit on your THRONE of excuses Haleigh. EXCUSES for why you can't tell me what you REALLY feel, and how I WON'T until I hear it from you. I never REFUSED to be there for you Haleigh, I refused to be there for the WALL that you kept up around me, SO if you MARRYING this guy makes you REALLY feel like you did the right thing, that you MOVED on, Haleigh, then go ahead and do it, but we both know, its a fucking JOKE, a means to an end. I can't believe I REALLY thought we could make this work, I CAN'T BELIEVE it!"

:: He was really hurt by this, looking at her now, his mind was receiving images of the times Zach and Haleigh had spent together. The days, the nights, the stuff he never wanted to see. He wanted to explode he had tried to be cool, calm and collective but seeing that man there, seeing him with his arm around Haleigh, kissing her in his visions, to know, she SLEPT with him, it was almost too much to take. He leaned in, this time really only going for a last jab before he left, whispering in her ear. ::

"Just remember, i know the secrets you keep you when you lay down to sleep, i know how you really feel, so when this is over, and you realize the MISTAKE you are making, gimme a call, until then... I wash my hands of you..."

:: It was the last thing he wanted to say, he wanted to beat the shit out of Zach and grind his face into the pavement, but he couldn't. He was angry, and it was understandable on BOTH sides. He looked over to Ororo, and sighed. ::

"Thank you for everything Ororo. Honestly, I don't think even YOU knew this was going to happen. But I can't stay here, and you don't have to chaperone me. I need to see my sister. I need to be alone, I need... I need to THINK!"

:: And with that Cameron left the Cathedral, the church, the grounds all together and began to make his way back to Illustra Inc. Thinking that it couldn't possibly get any WORSE ::

Black Widow
Black Widow
wow... good post.
:: Lowering her brows at the man's voice, the photoshoot wasn't supposed to be until Monday if memory served correctly. Taking her cordless phone with her, Ava made her way to her office where her PDA was. ::

"I believe the photoshoot was set for Monday the 12th."

:: Scanning through her PDA, she came across Monday the 12th, photoshoot at 1pm. Nodding to herself. ::

"Yes, it's right here. Monday at 1pm. Has it been reschedualed for today?"

and so...

<< the photographer shook his head while Ava spoke...like she could actually see this. He looked at his schedule, a hard copy. had there been a clerical error?>>

photog: i have it listed for today ma'am. can we check with Ms. Victoria or Ms. Davidoff for clarification?

<< he kept his tone modulated, wondering if this was an actual error or this woman's attempt at being some kind of diva. he'd dealt with that before.....celebrities on any scale coming up with some flimsy excuse to not report to a photo shoot for whatever reason.>>

<< meanwhile, a few more birds perched on the sculpture, some of them making soft cooing noises while others simply sat...their feathers ruffling a bit in the breeze. it was kind of creepy and no doubt the photographer wanted to at least get INSIDE the crystaline lobby but there was no way for him to access it until Ava or someone ELSE with enough clearence let him in.>>

i hope this dame hurries up. these damn birds are creeping me out.

<< indeed, birds were making themselves more noticeable all over town. even in the trees that caopied the garden of St. Patrick's and as Haleigh and Cameron's exchange heated , some birds rushed out from the trees as Haleigh poked Cameron in the chest, the sudden rushing and fluttering of wings providing a startling interruption.>>

<< the situation was as difficult as Ororo had expected it to be for Cameron himself wasnt prepared for what HE saw either. She warned him it would be difficult but he seemed more than ready to brave this on his own. There was just one problem. He COULDNT see Alison at this time. Ororo would have to tell him...unless Haleigh could handle it DELICATELY.>>

Haleigh glared back at him as he retorted... their scene began to look like a battle of the wills, and how much they truly cared about each other showed in that with each reply, they BOTH tried to hurt each other even worse. There was hurt and spitefulness coming from both sides, and as Cameron whispered a final vindictive stab, Haleigh put her guard back up... and let her anger be her armor. She yelled after him as he began to leave.

"DONT you try to pretend this is all MY fault, King! Dont you DARE! You KNEW I was with Zach for a LONG TIME! You KNEW every night I'd leave you and go to him! If you knew I was making such a BIG MISTAKE being with him... why didn't you SAY SOMETHING?! [narrowing her eyes] If you CARED so MUCH.... why didn't you STOP ME?!"

She huffed angrily, as he stalked off. Ororo stood there, looking at Haleigh as if it fell on HER to tel Cameron that he couldn't see Alison... that NONE of them could, but Haleigh refused stubbornly.

"Well? I'M not going to tell him! Let him go home to find her apartment EMPTY... as I did his for MONTHS before finding out he'd died... let him see how THAT feels!"

She crossed her arms, looking around at the birds, seething. There were getting on her NERVES... she felt the strong urge to just play TARGET practice with them at this point.... she'd never SEEN so many birds in one place... and they were cooing and chriping and WATCHING her and it made her ANGRY. She took a deep breath and sighed, looking up at Ororo with an apologetic tone.

"Look.... thank you for doing this... it WAS supposed to be a good thing... you CANT have known that he would come back as a big talking penis." She said, rolling her eyes. The NERVE of that man! Posturing as if he had ANY RIGHT to be upset.... if Haleigh recalled correctly... he'd moved on when SHE died too.... he'd run to ALEXIS!

[ MorningStar finished cleaning up while Ava was on the phone. She took the take-out bags and threw them in the trash, putting the leftovers in the fridge.

She couldn't help but overhear Ava's puzzled sounding voice. She crept to the office and looked quizzically at Ava. ]

[ She mouthed, Everything okay? ]

:: Putting the PDA down, Ava glanced over to the office door seeing Delilah appear. Nodding her head as she asked silently if everything was alright, she lifted her index finger up telling her to give her one second. ::

"Actually, yes. Please do call Ms. Victoria or Ms. Davidoff. I'm certain the photoshoot is set for Monday, and if they were to have changed it, they would have notified me personally. Please, call me back once you know for sure."

:: Hanging up, Ava rolled her eyes at the photographer. His sly undertones as he spoke to her were annoying. ::

"This photographer's trying to tell me I messed up the date of the photoshoot i'm supposed to do. *sighing* I'd just like one stress free day. Just one."

Posh eatery

Nicolas was in a really cool zone right now. They had taken a nice table at a very trendy cafe, and he realized that they BOTH were getting lots of attention. He enjoyed her company as she made small talk but eventually, the topic came to the big issue for them all...Alison. he could tell that Morgan was still torn about it and as she spoke of missing her, he reached out and touched her hand for a moment.

I am so sorry, Morgan. I miss her badly myself and I was not nearly as close to her. Perhaps we could check on her soon, after we are sure she's settled in?

He listened further about the job at Illustra.

I am certain that you will find someone...suitable. In fact, Delilah and Ava are both trainable if not already qualified. In any event, I can help in any capacity you require until you decide what to do in the event that you cannot handle it yourself, which I would argue you can. Look...

Nicolas lifted her chin slightly so he could look into her sunglasses.

let's try to enjoy the day, OK? Tell you what. Pick whatever you would like to do and I'm game. I want Morgan to enjoy the upside of being Morgan. I want to see how cute you are when you smile. Besides, we haven't given the paparazzi enough to talk about yet. May as well whip them into a frenzy, I hear it's good for business.

Nicolas smiled at Morgan, trying to cheer her up. He wished he could take her pain onto himself, but he would have to settle for being a good FRIEND right now.

[ Delilah's eyebrows knit into a furrow. She cocked one thoughtfully. ]

"I don't think you should meet with that photographer until you speak to Morgan or Haleigh personally. Can't be too careful - and this just smells wrong to me. This could be some ploy to get to you... I don't want to make you paranoid, just you should be careful."

at that moment in Soho- the cafe'

<< Nicolas is attempting to keep Morgan focused on other LESS depressing things but at that very moment, the attendant clears his throat and announces Karen's arrival.>>

attendant: excuse me miss victoria and mr king, but may i present Dr. Victoria?

<< Karen walked forward, holding her purse and with a smile on her face. wearing a brown clingy, figure flattering sweater, Escada sweater and coordinating pencil skirt with brown, leather high heels, Karen's blonde hair is styled in a perfect, bouncing , side parted , "flip" do. her short jacket giving her a more youthfull and contemporary kick to her otherwise classic chic ensemble>>

hello there!

<< she said with a lighter, more pleasant tone than usual for her. smiling at her daughter and Nicolas. the attendant pulls out her seat as at the 9 o'clock to Morgan and Nicolas' seats. but as she steps around to sit, Morgan's cellphone rings and at the same time, the two sparrows that had been perched on the rail beside Morgan take off with agitation, one charing right past and SO CLOSE to Karen's face that she flinches with a start of surprise!>>

OH!!

<< turning her head sharply to avoid being swiped by the sparrow, some of her hair whips infront of her face.>>

soho district- the cafe

<< Morgan looks at Nicolas. her sunglasses hide the true expression conveyed by her icy violet eyes. She appreciates his being attentive and supportive of her at this difficult time...but he doesnt understand. It's like Alison DIED. her RATIONAL mind knows that Alison is alive and well and a stepping disc away really...but she didnt just leave The Six and Illustra, she accepted the mantle of Harbinger, the Keeper of Time! It removed her from them in a way that made it seem as though a deep chasm now seperated them. it was her destiny, what she was meant for...and suddenly Morgan felt like...>>

Nicolas you dont understand!! Alison and I....we've been through SO MUCH. She was the ONE person that i KNEW would NEVER judge ment no matter how much of a monster i might have become due to my powers...or how badly OTHER people wanted to see me fail..she had my back and I had her's. She was the sister that Blaze NEVER could be...and BLAZE was my blood!

and NOW...she's the HARBINGER! She's charged with protecting Pandora and her box, as well as guarding the most ancient, deadly, secret treasures that most average people dont believe to actually exist! She finally embraced her destiny and it feels like she left me...US behind! I almost feel like...I would be BOTHERING her if i went to see her.

<< Nicolas gently raises her chin with his finger and looks into her eyes. She's thankfull that her sunglasses conceal the tears welling up in her eyes. He reassures her that they CAN see Alison, check on her if necessary and then invites her to think of something ....ANYTHING they can do to spend the day together. he's genuine and he doesnt minimize how she feels and for that, she's appreciative.>>

well...I...

<< at that moment, Karen is announced and Morgan looks up and over>>

Mother!

<< Karen greets them and as Morgan stands up to hug her mother, her cellphone rings and the two sparrows CHARGE forward...one nearly swiping Karen across the face and the other one flying so close past Morgan's ear that the fluttering of its wings and the small rush of air startle her as well.>>

<<GASP!!>>

<< both she and Karen are taken by surprise at how boldly these two birds seemed to purposefully invade their space.>>

mom!! are you okay??

<< she looks up as the birds fly away with furied ascent>>

those SPARROWS! it's like they were TRYING to hit us! did you see that?

<< she turned to Nicolas and looked back at her mother. the attendant asked if they were okay...>>

yes...yes we're both fine.

<< her cellphone was still ringing. she looks down, exhaling loudly.>>

and who could this be?

<< she sit's down and looks at the screen.>>

it's Ava!

<< answering....with hestiation as both she and her mother display just how much alike they are as they quickly check over their hairstyles at the same time. something Nicolas would notice.>>

hello Ava?

<< she listens to the current development at Illustra?>>

WHAT? i didnt ask for a photography session TODAY. it's supposed to be a fitting and test shoots for your costumes for the concert /gala/fashion show but that's not until MONDAY!

<< listening some more.>>

I'll take care of it. Thanks for calling me about this Ava. I dont want Illustra getting billed for something they didnt ask for.

<< closing the phone.>>

well guys.

<< she said as she looked at her mother and Nicolas.>>

Looks like we'll be detouring back to Illustra after all before we get on with the rest of the day. there's been a miscommunication and a photographer is trying to gain access into the building to photograph Ava for the fashion show/concert event next week.

<< the cafe' comps the drinks that Morgan, Nicolas and Karen received..as a small courtesy for the unpleasantness following the bird incident and with that, morgan, her mother and Nicolas head back for Illustra...and are instore for a most unusual situation.>>

across town @ St. Patrick's cathedral gardens

:: Ororo stands tall and silent as she watches the FIRE of accountability and passion ignite between Haleigh and Cameron who were reuinted in a way that most mortals couldnt even dream of. all of the mortals, all of the MOVEMENT itself in and around St. Patrick's cathedral has been suspended in time while Ororo is present as rolling grey thunder clouds play an ominous roll of thunder in the air and if that wasnt strange enough...crows are flocking in LARGE numbers in the trees that canopy the garden, only ADDING to the confusion and dischord. Ororo KNEW that this wouldnt be easy and NEITHER of these two knew the meaning of the word "relent", each one seeking to one up the other...striking deeper at each other's cores. but only two things could motivate someone like this. LOVE OR HATE.::

:: Cameron bid Haleigh a spitefull farewell and asked Ororo to take him to his sister. She did not move accordingly, instead raising her hand.::

Ororo: stop where you are, Cameron.

:: she said matter of factly.::

You cannot go gallavanting around the city, much less anywhere else. You have only JUST returned and the world believes you DEAD. any sight of you now by anyone OTHER than your immediate team at this moment could compromise MORE than just your safety and well being. You have only been alive, integrated and conscious for MOMENTS in earth's time and as such, your powers are not fully focused.

:: as Haleigh looked at Ororo the first time, obstinantly refusing to reveal the status of Alison like a child being visually scolded by a parent or teacher, Ororo starred at her with an unforgiving glare. this stubborness was NOT NEEDED.::

Haleigh, now is not the time to with hold information. Like it or not, Cameron is HERE and as such, has a RIGHT to know the status of his sister, Alison but I cannot, MUST NOT "care" for him any longer. His desire eto return to earth and to resume his life...or what he would like it to be...is too strong.

:: Haleigh apologizes to Ororo and sarcastically suggests that even she couldnt know how ridiculous Cameron would behave upon his arrival..but in FACT, Ororo had suspected as much ALL ALONG. His impetuous nature was deep seated within him.::

Though I do not call this realm of earth my home anymore, I am not unfamiliar with the ways of men, Haleigh. I was once the rider of the winds on earth, a mutant like you and during my youth, I knew the pleasure AND the agitation of the company of men.

But this moment only serves to underscore my warning to YOU Cameron, that no one can nor should they be expected to STOP their lives simply because you have "returned". you LEFT just as abruptly as you returned and while Malice and Erika were responsible for your near death..it was YOUR descision to seperate from the Six without ANY notice that set you UP for capture in the first place.

Your team...EVERYONE who is directly or INDIRECTLY involved/effected by you will have to adjust as YOU will have to adjust.

Find a way to adapt. You have no other alternative..NEITHER of you do.

For your benefit, Haleigh. I will put everyone in and around this cathedral to sleep, allowing you, your fiancee and Cameron time to return to the most obvious place to discuss this situation...Illustra. You will have moments to depart before my spell wears off and those effected by it will have no memory of anything OTHER than the discussion of your appointment with the priest.

Fare thee well.

:: and with that, Ororo nods and waves, departing in a column of spinning winds w/ dried and dead leaves. the haunting whisper of the winds fade as Ororo vanishes, leaving the three young people there in the garden to remember her words and admonishing.::

back to Illustra

<< and true to form, "things" always have a way of leading back to the source. With Morgan, Nicolas and Dr. Victoria en route to Illustra from one side of town, while Haleigh, Zach and a miraculously returned Cameron make their way from another direction and Ava and Delilah are already on site...the team is about to be brought together...with one noticeable (and sadly missed) exception....Alison Marble. at a time like THIS perhaps most of all, her presence will be missed by the team..and even MORE so by her recently returned baby brother.>>

<< But even as the team is about to be confronted with this most personal issue of Cameron's return, they will be confronted with forces of nature that are seemingly out of balance as has been noted at various times this morning. what is causing this and why its increasing is not yet known and without a precog in their midst, the team is about to experience their first mystery without the advantage of "foresight". the powers and abilities..the DIVERSITY among the Six make them still a very formidable group and their spirit, their resilience and ability to adapt (even if its unwilling on the part of some) is what will allow them to survive to figure out just WHAT or WHOM is behind all this.>>

<< the winds blow and the change that comes...is uncertain and promises to be UNPLEASANT.>>

<< and so...we watch.>>

Illustra Inc

<< on the grounds of the sprawling "office park"...a sleek "Cloud 9" minivan sits in the circular drive...the van itself almost looks pitifull against the massive technological gem that is Illustra and its surrounding outdoor decorum, not to mention surrounding buildings in the area. the morning has given way to early after noon and the breeze is down blowing.>>

<< the stretch hummer arrives first, followed by Haleigh and Zach. Morgan, Karen and Nicolas have no idea what they are in store for....while NONE of them have any idea what they ALL are in store for.>>

<< As Morgan prepares to exit her her chauffered vehical to speak with the misinformed photographer from Cloud 9, she calls Ava and asks her and Delilah to meet them down in the crystaline lobby.>>

Haleigh stared as Ororo prepared to leave, assuring Haleigh that she would allow them time to leave before righting things here at the Cathedral. Haleigh protested desperately.

"HEY! You aren't really going to.... but you CAN'T JUST--"

Ororo disappeared... LEAVE him with me.... She thought, finishing her sentence silently. She tossed her hair back with a frustrated sigh, looking Cameron down as she and Zach passed him.

"The car is right over here."

She said frigidly, as they came upon her Aston Martin DB9. Zach got in the passenger side, and Haleigh pulled her seat forward. If she HAD to be stuck with him, at least she could make him ride in the back seat. ;) The tone of her voice was firm and gave the impression that she was NOT in the mood for his attitude.

"Just GET in the car, I'll drive us home."

At first, she shifted gears angrily and drove agressively.... but after a few minutes her anger seemed to subside... and it was almost like she integrated with the vehicle, the accelerating and maneuvering became as smooth as glass, and she mentally tampered with the traffic lights to give them all greens on the way back. She glanced at Cameron in the rearview mirror. She took a deep breath.... Ororo was right.... he DID have a right to know about his sister.

"Look... Cameron.... you can't see your sister.... she's... not with us anymore. She's okay... she's fine... but she's not a part of the Six. She became the Keeper of Time.... the Harbinger. She resides in Greece, where she protects Pandora and her box of goodies.... and all of the relics that should never fall into the hands of men. It was.... her destiny... and she chose to accept it.... and now... so should we."

She explained, sighing as she pulled up at Illustra behind the stretch hummer that holds Morgan, Nicolas, and Dr. Victoria. Haleigh rolls her eyes as they all exit her vehicle.

"Boy, we never stray very far, do we?" She comments sarcastically, as she slides the seat back into place after Cameron gets out. "Initiate Garage Sequence." She commands, and the car responds politely as she shuts the door.

>>Garage Sequence Activated. Parking Now. Goodbye.
