Carrie Fisher dead at 60

I'm a fan of her's even beyond her work w/ Star Wars. I have her book, shock-a-holic, & it resonated w/ me on many personal levels. this one definiately has made me sad today :(
 
So, the year isn't over yet?

Can't say that I've seen her in much more than Star Wars.
But as someone who has always liked kick-ass female heroes she's been a big part of my childhood being one of the first that I came across and loved.

If you saw the movie "Drop Dead Fred", she was in that. She was also in When Harry met Sally, Soap Dish (one of my favs, sooo funny) , & she had a cameo in Scream 3. She's been in quite a few things, & she was also an "in demand" script doctor, having done touch ups & rewrites for many successfull films in hollywood, including: Hook, Sister Act, Outbreak (another riveting film), and The mirror has two faces, among many others.

She was unapologetic in talking about her personal struggle with mental health issues, which is another reason why I'm a fan of her's, & her book, "shock-a-holic" was raw & substantial.

This one really hurts :(
 
I have seen her here and there I guess. She's been busy.
But I actually haven't even seen When Harry met Sally... :oops:

It's great that she was so outspoken and has been willing to talk about her problems.
She has always seemed like a smart and fun person to me in the few interviews and stuff I have seen her in.
