Atlas' Tavern --- Grand Opening!

*She walked through the doors to the tavern, wearing her tight black dressy pants and a dark red sleeveless blouse. As she passed the bar, she smiled to Riana, waving at her and then continued to the back of the restaurant, walking through more doors. She threw her stuff into a corner and grabbed a mini apron, looking around for the other waitresses. She leanded against a main window over looking the restaurant and smiled, waiting for everything to start booming.*
 
## Alexandra pushed through the swing doors that hid the internal kitchen of Atlas’ Tavern. For the first time, she was seen in a chef’s apron and hat underneath long fitting jeans and a spaghetti top. She was standing at the Japanese corner, the surroundings were very Japanese. There were tatami flooring, cushion for people to sit on if they order A La Carte, and tables with Japanese pictures of lotus, shrines etc. Where she was standing, it was the Teriyaki corner. It was her kitchen, her open kitchen. It was fully metallic with all the equipment she needed.

Her ingredients were very fresh as she would kill them live in front of her customers. That was the Japanese Style. At another corner, it was the Japanese Steamboat lovers. It was also best of Sukiyaki. Being all around the world, Alex had always favored Japanese food. She even learnt the art of the cuisine when she was in Nagasaki, Asakusa, Tokyo and Osaka. In her right hand was her sharp knife that gleamed under the white light.

Alex turn to see Amaris enter the Tavern, she waved with her left hand, excited to meet up with her first customer. ##
 
:: Desire strutted into the store, wearing a knee length red skirt, with a slit to the middle of her thigh. She also wore a long-sleeved, thin black shirt. Around her neck was the black rainbow topaz choker and matcing earrings. Desire also wore knee black boots and dark eyeshadow on her eyelids. She greeted her employees with a smile and looked around the restaurant. ::

"Hello ladies! Excited about the opening? Alex, I love how you decorated your section. It looks gorgeous." :: She turned to Amy :: "Hey hun. I see you're ready for business."

:: She took the menu's from behind the bar and put them into the hostess stand. She stood behind it, awaiting customers. ::
 
:: Gwendolyn comes into Atlas Tavern and she looks around, unsure of where to go to order her Orange Jucie and Four Lemon Slices ::

## Alex turn to see Desire strut into the Tavern, she gave her a smile and a nod. ##

"Glad that you like it.. could have been better.. but I was rather busy these few days... I could "re-renovate" it when I have more ideas and pictures. :D"


## Alex turn to see Gwen enter the Tavern. ##

"Greetings.."

## Alex said loudly, so that Amaris would notice her and probably attend to her. ##
 
Ikaris melts out of the shadows and approaches Desire, noting with interest the decor of the place.

"Where are the decorations for the Holiday Party? I stopped by to check things out since its so late and I dont see anything ready. Please tell me that this is some sort of illusion and that the place will be ready later tonight? If you need some help, I can make arrangements to get you some help in here. You are aware aren't you that the MoE Holiday Party is here, tonight? The reservations were made and you got the payment for use of the restaurant? Please tell me that you did."

Ikaris looks at Desire intently. "The catering and usage fee was 10000 gil right. You supply all the food, the decorations, the drinks, and little holiday party favors. Has anyone actually paid you yet? No, let me take care of it immediately then your staff can get to work. Everything should be ready tonight by 8pm EST. Okay, I am arranging for some help to come in and assist in the decorations. You may have heard of them, the Fab Five(Queer Eye on the Straight Guy ;) ) If they get too obnoxious feel free to vaporize them or something equally painful. Here is the check for the party. Thanks again for allowing us to use it."

Ikaris hands Desire a check for 10000 gil and fades away into the shadows.



Note****The MoE Holiday Party will be held in a separate thread so as not to clutter the Tavern up with the Holiday Shenannigans.
 
*She spotted Alex waving to her from outside and smiled, walking back out through the doors with her apron on. She walked over to Desire and patted the girl on the back, grinning.*

"Ready and waiting."

*She turned around to notice Gwen entering the room and smiled, getting off to her first customer.*

"Hey Gwen, how's it hanging? What may i help you with?"
 
<< chimes sounded off......as DC faded into view walking forward toward the Tavern.......wearing a beautiful full length black mink fur with matching russian style fur hat.......and black tall leather h igh heeled boots........it was a wonderous winter night...and DC was dressed simple yet elegantly.>>

<< in an icy voice>> : Hello girls.........all set for the party?
 
:: Gwendolyn hears a voice and she then turns around, seeing Amarisy and then she smiles towards her and says with her french voice, she where happy and then she said ::

"Yes Amarisy... See I can tell you're name now! I would like some Orange Jucie and Four Lemon Slices please..."

:: and then she hears Farrah and then she turns to her with a smile ::

"Sure... I just need to pick up my dress..."
 
## Alex took notice of Darkchilde arriving with a beautiful outfit. ##

"Looking good as usual, DC..."

## Alex looks around further and notice not many guests have entered. ##

"Haiz... we should do more publicity of some sort."

## Alex nodded, as she took out a long piece of Salmon, and picking her knife up, as it gleamed under the light, she sliced the fish according to its flow thinly, and with a chop stick dab it in washabi and a little soy sauce and place it in her mouth as the Salmon seemed to melt in her mouth. ##

"Great quality..."

## Alex said to herself, as she finished slicing the fish and placed in onto a cold dish, into the refrigerator. ##

:: Desire approached the other Dark Faerie and Amy holding a tray with the orange juice and lemon slices. Smiling, she butted Amy out of the way playfully. ::

"Allow me, hun. That will be 260 gil."

[OOC: Please donate the gil to me...I need to pay my staff. ;) ]

bic- *She smiled as Desire brought Gwen's order over to them and nodded.*

"There's your stuff hun, go get those nasty gols!"
 
:: Gwendolyn takes her stuff and puts them in her black Panda thing and then she smiles and then she goes out after giving the Gil ::
 
:: The Siren aka Maia pushed through the doors of the restaraunt wearing this outfit accented with pure diamond chandellier earrings and black Jimmy Choo stillettos. Alongside Darkchilde, she too was a material girl. ;) Clutting her white Gucci clutch purse, she walked towards the Japanese section of the restaraunt, with an empty stomach. She leaned against the counter, tapping her fingers as she flashed her a warm smile ::

"Hey Alexandra. I'm starved... I think I'd like some California rolls. With a side of shrimp and vegetable tempura."

:: She quickly licked her lips. This was the closest thing to her homeland, and besides, she loves sushi ::
 
## Alex saw Maia enter the Tavern, and walk towards her section. ##

Finally, my 1st customer..

## Alex thought to herself. As the Siren ordered, Alex started off with her work. She started with the California rolls, rumaging through the refrigerator and shelves for avacado, ready made crab meat, cucumber, seaweed, rice and egg. She took out a chopping board and slice the already washed avacado and cucumber into long slices. She then fried the beaten egg into a cubiod shape, placing all the ready ingredients on a platter, she took the rice and knead it for a short while then wrapped the ingredients with the rice with the seaweed. She then repeated the process to make 3 California Rolls. She sprinkled some roe onto the rolls. She turn to Maia. ##

"Would you like me to cut them or eat them as one."

*One: it's shaped like a cone

## While waiting for Maia to make a decision, she went to the back, to create the batter for the tempura and fried the shrimp and vegetables in the batter, the results were that the tempura were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. She placed the tempura onto a garnished plate and took it out from the back and placed it before Maia. Her seat already placed with chopsticks, wasabi, soy sauce, plate, empty cup and fork. Alex took out a pot of hot Jasmine tea and poured it into the cup. ##

"Enjoy and if you would like anything else, please feel free to ask.. Comments are also greatly welcomed."
 
:: Maia set her clutch purse on the counter as she slid into a nearby stool. She watched Alex as she prepared her food and boy, was she talented at that. She looked up at her from the counter and nodded ::

"Could you cut them for me please?"

:: Flashing her another warm smile, she then watched her prep her tempura. The aroma of food was tempting her so much, she could barely wait any longer. Maia placed her hand on the napkin next to her plate before whipping it open and set it aross her lap carefully. She took her pair of chopsticks and grabbed one of the shrimp tempuras and put it in her mouth - whole. A wide grin crept across her face. It was fantastic. Better than home... ::

"Damn Alex... You've certainly outdone yourself here! You're like a tempura god... "

:: She laughed as she took another then took a sip of her Jasmine tea ::
 
## Maia decided for Alex to cut the california rolls into the normal sushi size, and taking a clean knife, she sliced the rolls into 4 bite size, not too big and not too small, presenting them for Maia. With Maia's compliments, Alex blushed a little. ##

"Thanks. That probably one of the best compliments I've ever had."
 
::Jinx simply walks in the restaurant wearing a red backless top that revealed her beautiful black rose tattoo at her back and a pair of black leather pants.. She sat in one of the tables and waves to her friend, Alex..::

"Hello there Alex.. I told you to expect me soon.."

::Jinx smiled and ordered her favorite Japanese cuisines..::

"Can I have a Yakisoba, fried dumplings with hot chili sauce and a green tea please.. thank you.."

::Jinx patiently wait as Alex moved swiftly in the kitchen to prepared her order..::
 
## Alex after finish attending to Maia, turn to Jinx who just arrive, waving back at the Elemental. ##

"Yep, I was waiting.. LOL.."

## Alex pour some hot green tea into Jinx's cup and move into the Kitchen to take the ingredients. 1 packet of yakisoba noodles
1 carrot 1/4 of a small cabbage 1/4 pound pork 1/3 cup yakisoba sauce *or seasoning packages which come with yakisoba noodles Beni-shoga (red ginger) Ao-nori (green seaweed).

Alex cut the cabbage, carrot, and pork into bite sizes. She then saute the cabbage, carrot, and pork onto the metal stove. She added the yakisoba noodles onto the open stove, in front of Jinx and put in 1/2 cup of water in the pan and cover it with a lid. After a while, she took the lid off and add yakisoba seasoning mix or yakisoba sauce. Stiring the noodles well and ***ing them for a few minutes, she sprinkle aonori, and beni-shoga over the noodles before serving it onto a plate. ##

"Hope that it is good, and as for your dumplings, I was wondering what stuffing you would like.."
