Annihilation Conquest

Well it's time for the sequel to last Summer's smash hit Annihilation and this time around Star-Lord takes a suicide squad made up of Bug, Captain Universe, Deathcry, Groot, Mantis and Rocket Raccoon into the heart of the Kree Culture to battle a vicious enemy while artifact hunting in the lost underworlds of the Kree Empire. The New Quasar and her lover Moondragon take off in a Joan of Arc type quest while being hunted down by the merciless Super Adaptoid and a Kree with No Name becomes embroiled in a war he wanted no part of. I don't know about the rest of you but this is going to rock so hard that not even Ozzy will be able to stand up to it's greatness. I am hoping to hear your thoughts on what is sure to the saga of the year (alongside World War Hulk of course.)

alright there is a thread. so as to the minis which Super Adaptoid is showing up the new one from New Avengers or a previous version? And Wraith is confirmed as being a Kree?

Wraith is a Kree who was raised in another Galaxy and has just found his people who he cares nothing for (he's basically Marvel's Cloud Strife.) The Super-Adaptoid is just as he was since he last appeared (I think) and is hunting down the new Quasar and her lover Moondragon.

if its the same one from the last appearance than its a she.

Yelena Belova was the last Super-Adaptoid but i thought she was self-destructed.

Female? Nope, different Super Adaptoid. The one in Conquest is the male one with all of the Avengers (including Mar-Vell's) powers.

what I'm curious about is if they're going to deal with the loose threads from the Beyonder issue left over from Thanos' series. In Annihilation it was confirmed the female Beyonder was dead and thats supposed to be very bad.

Well...today is the day. Annihilation Conquest: Prologue came out and with it the revelation of a new threat who not only killed the original Blink but was resposible for Generation X's formation...or at least a shoot-off of the Borg-like PHALANX and joining them are their devious little pawns who also happen to be ROM's ruffians the SPACEKNIGHTS who have betrayed the Kree and may have totally screwed them over.

Damn...the new Super Adaptoid looks wicked awesome! I wonder how the Phalanx got ahold of him? You'd think with the powers of all the Avengers including Mar-Vell and Thor he would be able to stop them from taking over his mind. But I'll tell you this seeing the prologue has changed my mind about not getting Quasar. Oh and here is a link for the preview of Annihilation Conquest: Wraith
