Hi all! :heee:

Any anime fans about?

welcome to our side of the cyber pond sugah! ;) please make yourself at home in your now spot.

and we got a few anime fans here...i think Black King and willblade are the most prominent among them.

any questions, feel free to ask.

Hey Thanks ALL! :heee:

That's great to hear that there are anime fans hereabouts. I'm looking forward to talking about stuff like Macross F and Gundam OO and some other stuff. And of course comics.

This place is looking good to me, lots to explore. :love10:

Damn, I need to work on welcoming new members better lol. But, atlas, welcome to SG! Anime fan? I've seen a couple of shows a few years back but I wasn't never into it. Although I did adore Sailor Moon, haha. Hot banner by the way. :xyxthumbs:

Welcome! Welcome! I am THE DOCTOR, the Omniverse's Premiere Keeper of Precepts as well as a major Anime/Manga/Comic fan. Among the shows I have on DVD are Escaflowne (Complete Series), Noein (Complete Series), Bleach (Season 1), Robotech (The predecessor to all things Macross: I need to get a hold of the 1st, 5th, and 6th DVD's from the First Season and then I'll be good), Speed Grapher (Complete Series), and Rumbling Hearts (Complete Series). I've also seen bits and pieces of Sailor Moon, one of the Gundam Wings...don't know which though, all of Neon Genesis Evangelion, all of Chobits and all of DNAngel.

We unfortunately don't have a designated "Anime/Manga" section but there is the Comics Forum which is just as good as anything else. I hope you enjoy your stay.

EDIT: Okay...we DO have an Anime/Manga Sub-Section that I just discovered. Never mind!

Ah...you are correct. Odd...I always thought it had been a precusor to those other series and not actually a culmination of Macross and two other Anime series but thanks to your bland and unexplanatory response as to why I was so very wrong, Cat-Scratch, my History on the subject has been revised thanks to a bit of investigative work and I now know that Robotech is actually the result of Harmony Gold Inc. adapting, fusing and editing the three shows known as The Super Dimension Fortress Macross, Super Dimension Cavalry Southern Cross, and Genesis Climber Mospeada into one sole entity.

Oh...and the next time you correct someone make sure that you explain to the people you are correcting how and why they are wrong and not just giving those people a one-liner and a smiley to finish it off.

The matter is settled. No more discussion on this topic will there be, Lady Administrator. Please excuse me...
