A Weekend Affair # 1 - The Great White Reception

Hellfire Club – The Aquarius Lounge

There was something that Gia had forgotten about the visiting Red Bishop, something that she should’ve realized, considering what had happened with Zachary earlier. She had forgotten that Daniel Reed was a fucking EMPATH.

Apparently he didn’t like to be grabbed – he, who was an American – so he decided to show his strength by using his power.

Once again, Gia felt a gauntlet of emotions – fear, intimidation, panic – and didn’t know what to do with herself. She wanted to run, only to find that she couldn’t.

And then he threatened her. He may have said something else, but by then she had checked out of their interaction. She still felt scared, though. Her mind was not having it, however.

Yeah. Whatever.

Then he was gone and she was by herself. She downed the flute of champagne like a shot and noticed Cass walking past. She quickly got out of the booth.

“Cass? Hey, can we--?”

Cass: *brusquely*: “Not now, Gia.”

Ru-ude!

“Well, since everybody is leaving…”

Gia heaved a sigh and left, walking quickly towards her suite in the White Wing. There she took a long shower and hopped right into bed. It was at these moments where she really missed Samuel, where she could just BE. She had thought that things would be better. She had thought that she had chosen correctly. But…she had chosen WRONG, it would seem like. She didn’t have Diana and she didn’t have Samuel, but most of all, she didn’t have…her father.

Hellfire Club – The Aquarius Lounge

:: Archer seemed really amused by her responses, which bewildered Cass. What did he know that she didn’t? Cass made a cheeky response to Archer’s comment about the ERK. ::

Archer: "You're cheeky. I like that. You should be like this more often. People wouldn't think you were insane."

:: Now Cass was the one amused. ::

“Ah, so you have heard the stories. The rumours of my mental state have been greatly exaggerated.”

:: Cass toasted him back and he gave her a kiss on the cheek that was icy cold…and in that feeling, turned her on somewhat. ::

Archer: "I'll be seeing more of you this weekend, Princess. Have a splended evenin'."

“I sure hope so…You have a splendid evening too!”

:: Then Archer was gone and Cass sat there with her eyes closed, feeling embarrassed by her forthrightness, rubbing something that was on her cheek. ::

Was that ICE?

:: A servant came up to her. ::

Servant: “Princess…we have a situation. The Black Bishop seems to have gotten himself into a state…”

BEN!!

:: She completely forgot about him! What the fuck did Kelly do to him now!? She got out of the booth quickly, passing Gia on her way to get Ben. ::

Gia: “Cass? Hey, can we--?”

*brusquely*: “Not now, Gia.”

:: She kept walking, turning a corner and seeing exactly where Ben was: apparently he had been throwing furniture about from the mess she could see in front of the door. She appeared in the doorway and saw Ben, passed out, with an empty whiskey bottle beside him. She couldn’t help but smile. ::

*affectionately*: “Come on, you…”

:: She kicked off her heels, knelt down and tried to lift him up. ::

“Okay, you’re going to have to help me, buddy.”

Ben: *murmuring*: “As djdosjfkdghkdhgkd…”

“I know.”

:: She draped his arm across her shoulders, snaked her arm around his waist, and looked at him. ::

“Ready? Okay. On the count of three. One…two…THREE.”

:: On ‘three’, she pushed up with Ben helping a bit, and they stood together. Ben groaned and peered at her face. ::

Ben: *slurring*: “Cathandwa?”

“Yes, it’s me. It’s Cassandra.”

:: They began to walk, well, Cass was half-carrying Ben to the stepping stone that would easily transport them to Ben’s chambers. Ben continually touched her face. ::

Ben: *slurring*: “You haf somefing on your fathe.”

“Yes, I know that I have something on my face. Thank you, Ben.”

Ben: *slurring*: “’elcome.”

:: They were now in his chambers and she helped him into his bedroom. She half-dragged him to his bed and set him down, where he promptly fell over. ::

“Okay, big guy.”

:: Cass took off his shoes, and his pants. She managed to take off his blazer before he protested, not as much with words as they were just sounds, as she tried to take his dress shirt off. ::

“Okay. Okay. I’ll back off.”

:: Then Ben grabbed her wrist. He was looking at her, his blue eyes sad. ::

Ben: “I miss my father.”

:: His father. She had forgotten. She smiled and ruffled his hair. She pressed her forehead against his. ::

*quietly*: “I know you do, my sweet boy.”

:: The affectionate endearment, my sweet boy, was one that Cass had used with Ben even before they were ever romantically involved – simply because he definitely was NOT a boy. It was used exclusively between the two of them. Ben didn’t let go of her wrist, only gripping it more. ::

Ben: *hopeful*: “Thtay?”

“Yes, I’ll stay. I’ll be on your little couch here in your room. Would that be okay?”

:: He mumbled something in the affirmative and then he closed his eyes. Cass wondered if he’ll remember this interaction. ::

Probably not.

:: She kissed his forehead and went to his closet, stripping of her dress and putting on one of his grey shirts and a pair of pyjama pants that she found. She came back out and set her dress on the ground, before heading for his desk for some paper. She wanted to write him a letter. ::

Ben,

You are my BEST best friend, and so I wanted you to be the first one to hear this.

I have never been so clear and level headed than I am right now. I can’t explain it right now, but something happened tonight that made everything and everyone absolutely clear as a bell. Kelly has no hold on me anymore. You used to love my words, so I’m writing this letter to try and explain everything. I hope that you will accept this letter.

When I lost you, or rather, the man who loved me so unconditionally, it nearly killed me. Literally. I was completely and utterly distraught that I went up to the roof of Hellfire and I slit my wrists. But somebody found me, and I don’t know who, and next thing I knew I had woken up in the infirmary. That was the beginning of Kelly’s machinations and the anguish she placed on me mentally. It was awful. No, it was beyond awful. It was brutal, horrifying, terrifying…and the worst part was that I couldn’t grieve for you, or rather, the man who loved me so unconditionally, properly. In fact, I couldn’t grieve for you/him AT ALL. Kelly had made sure that I had NO outlet for my grief. She allowed it to consume me so completely that I had been driven into madness.

I remembered the calming effect you’ve always had on me and suddenly…it was gone. YOU were gone. I was all alone, going crazy, and you weren’t even there to help me through. Why? Why weren’t you there for me? Why did you stay away? Did you even know about the suicide attempt? Did you even visit me in the infirmary? Why didn’t you reach out to me when you could first see that I was spiralling into madness? I remember an instance where I showed up in your bedroom unannounced and tried to climb into bed with you. As embarrassing as that was, I honestly wasn’t there for sex. I just wanted you to hold me. I NEEDED you to hold me. Why couldn’t you just hold me? Would it really have killed you to just come into my room a few nights a week to just hold me, to try and help me heal? I’m not placing blame on you for any of this because…because…because I realize now that Kelly didn’t just take you from me, she took me from you as well. Ben, I’m so sorry that I wasn’t there for you; that I wasn’t strong enough for you. I’m so sorry that I wasn’t there for you when you needed me the most. I had FAILED my best friend, and no amount of words or gestures will ever amount to how sorry I am, and will always be, for that.

I want to say a big THANK YOU, though, for all the times that you WERE trying and I just couldn’t see it; at least, not back then. You’ve tried and you’ve tried and you’ve tried and even when you probably should’ve given up…you still kept on trying. It didn’t mean much back then but it means the world to me right now.

I remember that we used to go riding together on Arklay a lot. Could we do that sometime, Ben? Could we go riding and maybe, just maybe, try and enjoy each other’s company again? We don’t have to talk, if you don’t want to. I really miss riding Starlight, though. I hope she remembers me.

Is it too late for us, my sweet boy? Can we still try for a new friendship?

- Cass

PS – I’m keeping your jacket: you ain’t getting it back, sir. It’s just too damn comfy.

:: Starlight was a stallion that was housed at the Hellfire stables. She and Ben used to ride on Arklay a lot, and she and Starlight had developed a close bond. She smiled as she added a postscript with sass. Then she folded it up and set it next to Ben on his bedside table. Next she went back to the paper and wrote a note for Amanda. ::

Amanda – can we talk sometime? I have something important that I need to say to you. Cass

:: She folded that note up and gathered her dress before heading out to the hall. She saw an aide standing by. ::

“Hi, can you please deliver this note to the Black Knight’s quarters and drop off this dress in mine? Thank you so much.”

Aide: “Will do, Princess.”

:: She headed back into Ben’s room and went for his little couch, curling up on it with a blanket and a pillow. She tried to stay awake for as long as she could just to make sure that he was okay, but sleep won out and she fell into a deep sleep – something that had eluded her for a long, long, time. ::

The Hellfire Club - - Aquarius

Erika: Fuck first. Love later.

She insisted, and Zach chuckled.

No, Princess. Love now.

He thought, and with the lust, he fed her something stronger, something more addictive than all the drugs in the world. He would fuck her still, of course. He would give her what she wanted. But he’d have his way, as well. All he had to do was light the fire.

He told her that she should be adored, and envied, and exalted, as they pushed and in some cases ripped their formal wear out of the way. Every where his skin touched hers, passion flowed freely between them, until they were so absorbed by the way they felt that everything else around them faded to the background.

And then he was guiding her down onto him, and the connection was made even stronger. He was not immune to his own effects. Right now he wanted her more than he could stand. He kissed her everywhere he could, his hands roaming for the best place to hold her.

Erika: And you Zach.... you should be worshipped...

She said, making him moan when she gave him a squeeze, his mouth on her nipple. She guided his hands to her ass, and he smiled, lifting his mouth to hers. This was indeed an excellent place to get a grip.

Erika: Now let us pray.

“Oh, GODS.”

He said, thrusting his hips up hard, as his mouth took possession of hers.

The way the door caved to his will was mildly satisfying. The way Cobra responded to his advance, immensely so. She wrapped her legs around him, squeezing him with an unexpected strength, and ripped his shirt open. She was no innocent maid.

Good.

He told her he would give her something to write about, as he carried her off to the bedroom, and she explored his body with her hand, trying to sneak a preview. He could tell from her expression that she was pleased with what she discovered, and then she was asking if he could make her scream, as if that were ever in doubt. He gave her a lupine smile.

"One way or another, you'll scream."

He said, throwing her down on his bed. He shredded her dress to ribbons in the process of getting it off of her, and tore free of his own clothes quickly, and then he was on her, feral and fast. He held her down and kissed her roughly, and every time he heard his Queen's moans, he drove himself into Cobra harder, until all he could hear was the pounding of his own heart.

The Hellfire Club - - The Red King’s Suite

She told Liam, in no uncertain terms, that she wanted more than just a business arrangement with the American Red Queen. Judging by Ashley’s response, they wouldn’t need to do too much to convince her. In fact, all Liam had to do was suggest she take them somewhere private, and Ashley seemed quite happy to oblige.

Her King was eager to begin, not surprisingly, given the exquisite beauty they were presented with. As Ashley aggressively kissed Liam, Juliette moved in behind him to pull off his neck tie, and then dexterously reached around to help him out of his shirt. She stopped to kick her heels off, as Liam and Ashley continued on, and then Juliette pressed herself against Liam’s bare back, taking a moment to look over his shoulder and catch Ashley’s eyes.

“Liiiiiiiam.....”

She warbled in his ear, before he got too far along.

Liam: Oh yes, excuse me. Ladies first.

He replied, shifting, and in the blink of an eye, Juliette had moved around in front of him, crossing his lap to take his place between the knees of the Red Queen. Juliette kissed a path from Ashley’s thigh to her sex, and that was where she remained to focus her efforts. Liam continued to kiss Ashley’s body, then made himself useful by removing Juliette’s dress, and telling Ashley that they appreciated her hospitality.

“Mmm.”

Juliette agreed, and for once it wasn’t her accent that made her harder to understand.

Ashley: Anything..... for a guest.

Juliette smiled at that, alternately applying pressure with her tongue, and applying light suction, her hand creeping up to Ashley’s breast. She looked up curiously when she heard Liam moan, then redoubled her efforts to steal the Red Queen’s attention back. It wasn’t long before Ashley shuddered beneath her, and then she was sitting up, and bringing Juliette up to her mouth. Liam leaned in for a kiss as well, with Ashley sandwiched between them, and then it was Juliette’s turn to lay back, and she watched with enjoyment as Liam took the Red Queen from behind.
